Door didn't open, have to go front desk twice.
Room was comfortable and clean.
The hair dryer blew the circuit and I lost power in one half of the room!
Very noisy air conditioner. Impossible to sleep. Bathroom too small. Sheared microwave plug. All this in a deluxe room
the parking wasn't free :@
The beds, so comfortable, the rooms very spacious. The staff were very helpful throughout my stay. I stayed in the VIP suite for a day and it was nice. I would definitely stay here again.
I had to use key card to open a few doors before I could get to my room door
As you drive up it looks like a rather unassuming property, but you walk through the grove on to your room and a beautiful (and totally unexpected) oasis of lush green welcomes you to what feels like a tropical paradise.
The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant was excellent. The location was perfect.
The toilets were very small. There was no opening windows for fresh air.
- breakfast not included - car parking quite expensive
We had a beautiful view of the garden and after a 12 hours flight it was just what we needed. Very comfortable
The tv screen was big but poor reception although it didn't bother us too much
Bed was Awesome!!! Great grass Dog-Walking area. Dog-Friendly staff & most guests ($50 pet fee though) Pool was super. Staff was nice & fast. We called for two more towels and within 3 minutes somebody was at our door...nice. Hotel is like a 2 story "motel" style & we got the first floor. It was a close walk from the front desk & we liked not being 20 floors up. we didn't hear a peep from the adjacent rooms or from above....not a sound...only when people were being loud in the hall but that's everywhere. Room service was great...my wife & daughter loved breakfast in bed...very good food. We also hung out at Shooters for an hour & had a nice conversation with the bartender gal. We even got a late check out @ 2 pm with no problems but we did leave on Sunday.
Only 2 minor things: The Fitted Sheet on the bed was too small & both my wife & I awoke with our back/shoulders touching the mattress. Easy fix....Get larger sheets :-) I asked the front Desk guy if there was anything complementary since we were celebrating our anniversary. He gave me ONE free drink ticket to the in-hotel bar for a well drink, domestic beer or house wine & I kinda had to talk him into a 2nd one. Come on man. I explained that we were celebrating our anniversary but had to bring our daughter & it'd be really nice for my wife & I to have a glass of wine or 2 together. I appreciate the 2nd free drink ticket and all but I shouldn't have had to talk him into it. Really minor issue though...hopefully The Sheraton isn't getting that cheap & it was just an inexperienced employee. Overall...our stay was great!
Parking was so close to the rooms. Rooms were very clean and well decorated. Microwave, refrigerator and coffee service was a welcome bonus. Very nice hotel.
Close to UCSD Great pool area Friendly staff
Rooms great and clean and love the a-cons get really cold quick I loved it especially in the summer
Swimming closes at 10pm wished it stayed opened a little longer
The grounds were lovely, the location couldn't be beat, and the staff were fantastic. I went for desert and wine in the restaurant at the hotel and it was very nice.
The hotel seems like the type of place that had it's heyday in the 60's and is trying to maintain it's glamour from then. The other people in the restaurant had definitely been coming there for +30 years. The gate to the parking lot worked 40% of the time. It was a headache.
Good beds, and privacy in the room it's ok.
Old building. Low maintenance , and bad restaurants.
Location is close to shopping, theaters, beach and university.
Great location for my purpose.
We have no critical feedback. Our stay was great!
Customer service, used my name when I called front desk.comfortable bed n pillows
No trashcan liners. Especially in bathroom for female products.
Clean hotel room. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Pool was excellent. Pool side food and drinks were great. Over all clean and comfortable. Will visit again
Too pricey for a one night stay.
Resort like layout with inner court yard and pool, etc. Nice shopping complex with Wholefoods next door. Easy access to main roads and only minutes to Beach and Aquarium.
Bathroom tight and just average; infrastructure starting to show age.
I like it very much
A little expensive and since it's on the hill it takes you some time to walk around.
I like the room condition. clean, quiet,
Employee(front) is not very kind....horrible....
Staff was helpful offered coupon to Humphreys which was great
