The items are too numerous, suffice it to say I will NEVER stay there again.
Room was pretty nice
Construction was extremely inconvenient. Valet parking line was hard, was parked on the Main Street for 20 minutes before we could get into the driveway. Elevators took forever, because of the construction I guess. But we waited 20+ minutes a couple times. Extremely expensive for an average stay. Also was unaware of the extremely expensive parking fee.
Staff and crews are very accommodating, the hotel is very clean and the location is awesome.
I didn't like the very soft pillows!
THE ONGOING RENOVATIONS MAKE THIS HOTEL A TOTAL DISASTER. ROOMS, ALTHOUGH RENOVATED, DO NOT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. AT 250 DOLLARS PER NIGHT, YOU MAY FIND MANY OTHER GOOD PLACES TO STAY. DO NOT RECOMEND YOU GO HERE
The location can't be beat for Downtown LA night life!
The Hotel and the building are undergoing heavy renovations and this left the place a mess. Also, the staff and the facilities could not handle the number of guests along with the chaos of the renovations. We had to wait over 30mins to just have our vehicle valet parked; we then had to wait over 45mins to have a bell man take our luggage and it took over 30 mins to get an elevator. This whole experience of checking in was atrocious… I've travelled a lot and usually stay with other Hotel chains, but I figured we would give Sheraton a shot at our business… Big mistake!
The comfort and staff
The long wait for elevaders and no free wifi
flat screen with my name on it - I like little things like this, mirror in bathroom, comfy bed, the room itself was very comfy, modern, and pretty, room service food = YUM! (the chicken wings!) Fast service - whatever I called in, was given or answered fast and nice. The staff was super nice!
stuffy elevator, too packed - took forever to get an elevator, long check in line. (I guess it was b/c V-day, but staff should have hired more help that wkend) Pay for your wifi?! come on now...DUMB! It should come with the hotel. The only staff I was disappointed with was the breakfast crew. I asked for H20 - took them a while, but then I was waiting for my 2nd little glass of water and they told me to go get it at the bar...really...smh. They should have told me my water was there from the beginning. There should be pitchers of water or a container of water where it is self served. (maybe they're trying to save water b/c of the drought)
The hotel suite was brand new and immaculate. The staff responded swiftly to our issue with the smoke alarm as it needed a new battery. The staff attended to all of our questions, issues, and concerns promptly. The hotel is close to LA Live. Miguel at the front desk was phenomenal and assisted with making this Valentine's day memorable.
This hotel is currently undergoing renovation which leads to a delay with the elevators.
The rooms have been remodeled so they were very comfortable. We loved the 42 in flat screen tv and the chaise lounge was nice to relax on. They offered us free breakfast due to construction.
When we arrived we found out from the Bellman that there may be a slight wait for the elevator because only one of the 4 were working! When we turned the corner to go in, the line was as long as one you might find at your grocery store. There were at least 18-20 people waiting. After having to wait approximately 20 min to get on the elevator when it returned we had to register on the 2nd floor. We then Had to take the elevator to our room on the 17th Floor! If one of the maintenance workers hadn't taken us up on the service elevator who knows how long we would've waited? Their first order of business should be to make sure all 4 elevators are operating. Also they could have comped the wifi or parking since all of their guests were inconvenienced due to the construction. That would have made the experience less painful. We will never go back there.
New room and awesome cleanliness
The congestion of vehicles trying to pull in and out of the hotel
Front desk (Richard) did an awesome job addressing my requests for room change.
construction obviously elevators
Great location ,lovely gym
would like to have tea making facilities in room.
Service was excellent. Gustavo, was very very helpful.
Elevators weren't working and took forever.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
I had booked two beds as advertised and it was not in their system upon check in. The hotel was under renovation, poorly accessible, inconvenient for check in, air conditioning controls in room did not work, continental breakfast was horrible and ran out quick. The prices should be dropped during renovation...quality did not reflect the expensive price paid.
We were given complimentary breakfast and free Wifi to recompense for the inconvenience of hotel undergoing renovation. The staff were extremely polite, helpful and friendly and we would definitely come back.
The hotel is looking very tired and yes it does need a complete renovation.
Poor amenties in the room- like for example the bathroom did not have shower cap or sanitary bag.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and all locations with the metro right outside the door.
It would have been nice to be informed that they are undergoing construction work on the ground floor, the desk clerk on check-in was really smug when I asked her about it,like tuff! The decor in the room is old and the bathroom needs a major overhaul, especially as the power point in the wall was not working & actually moving around when I tried to plug in the hairdryer.Definately not worth the $300 plus a night!
location is good.staff is excellent
no free wifi and no fridge in the room
no free Internet no fridge in room only valet parking at around USD 35 a day no safe in room the hotel had construction why would the elevator stop on floors that were totally construction zones I don't know all in all the amount paid was not worth the level of services or stay. the Sheraton was a disappointment.
room size and bed comfort, also bathroom was good and comfortable
no fridge in room,no wifi free in room
Did not honor my request for 2 queen beds, which the main reason I booked the hotel. Receptionist clerk was rude when my requests were denied. Out of stock of roll out beds. Out of stock of extra pillows and towels. Did not grant a late check out.
Bad staff! AC very bad!
