My room looked like it wasn't cleaned. The bedding smelled. The nighttime desk clerk hung up on me 3 times before I could finish my request. He said he was busy. He was rude.
Everybody was very pleasant and helpful. The kids loved the heated indoor pool.. Location is excellent.. Very close to NYC and you can see the beautiful skyline .. Very nice hotel.
I booked online and it states there is a refrigerator in the room.. When we got to our room there wasnt one.. I went to the front desk and showed the lady the booking i did and she said she apologizes for that but you have to request a refrigerator if you want one.. The lady had somebody bring it up..it was a very tiny refrigerator.. Also the beds are not so comfortable, my husband and i woke up with very stiff backs and necks..
Staff were great. Room was great, location great and small gift shop at hotel very handy
Restaurant was overwhelmed and too few elevators. The poor maids had to wait for elevators to empty before they could travel from floor to floor because elevators small and couldn't accommodate their carts.
the shuttle to and from the hotel to the train station made for easy access to NYC. All of the staff were very polite and helpful.
The hotel was a nice place but the housekeeping left a bit to be desired. Housekeeping services were inconsistent at best. Not what I would have expected from this type of hotel.
The pool was not open when it should have been. It was not very clean and there were towels stuffed by the doors to keep cold air out. The
An employee came in the room after knocking once. Not expecting anyone...
Proximity to the stadium
View back to Manhattan from the room; large bed; shower; room generally.
Overcharging is endemic - as is the habit of advance charging before check-out. Correction was made, best not to do it in the first place. Hot basin tap not working; bath plug not working; room cold; Common areas look tired & in need of refurb.
staff at reception desk excellent. View of Manhattan great.
Noise from adjoining room bathroom.
the staff was pleasant and answered questions in a polite and orderly manner.
then legs on the sink in the bathroom were rusted there were ants crawling on the bathroom wall. toilet paper holder was broken.
The bed was comfy and the gym and pool are very nice.
I was not impressed. The hallways were a little worn and freezing as they had air conditioning pumping on a very cold day (40 degrees F) The facilities are very loud you can hear everyone around you. Worst of all the food from room service was horrible and they even forgot my drink (a can of diet soda) on a very simple order ( fried calamari and chicken ceasar salad both of which came in ice cold and under cooked) I stayed on a wed night and would not stay again unless I was forced to.
The wallpaper and furnishings were old & dated
able to walk to metlife stadium
No ventilation in our moldy bathroom. Only a TV and coffee maker. Wifi wouldn't work. Expected the Hilton to be nicer. Will book a room at a cheaper hotel next time.
For the price I was expecting a lot more.
Hotel was the closest to Met Life Stadium.
Location to Metlife Stadium, fantastic view of NYC skyline, bar/restaurant atmosphere was nice(never ate the food)
Very outdated, bathroom in the room was TINY!!, the drink-maker at the Starbucks was broken during our whole stay which was a bummer,
I loved everything about this hotel. I was there for a night but the staff treated us so nice and everything was clean and awesome. The city view was beautiful
I loved everything
The staff, location, and availability.
We liked Rameez & Delia (front desk, extremely helpful) housekeeping staff, shuttle bus drivers & restaurant staff !! The best part of our stay was leaving....
Hotel entrance carpets are disgustingly dirty. Elevators are dirty. Pool area is old & dirty. No refrigerator, microwave or baby crib in rooms (we did request these) We were constantly bothered by staff about settling our bill from our first night !! Notes put under our door, phone calls to our rooms, morning & evening (disturbing our baby)even after we spoke with staff on front desk, this annoyance continued. No one could tell us our balance, but they had taken $400 from our card (unauthorised, no receipt) We were told we had to pay in total on our first morning although they couldn't tell us our balance !! Apparently none of our cards would swipe for 1 staff member who didn't bother communicating with co workers and was extremely unhelpful. Amazingly, the morning we checked out all our cards would swipe!! My husband spent hours on phone to Bank Of Ireland who assured us the problem was on the hotels side. The bank offered to speak with hotel staff who declined. This ruined our trip to NY, cannot believe how terrible this experience was. Staff need training and a lesson in social skills excluding Delia and Rameez :-) The hotel needs to hire an industrial carpet steamer !!
Poorly trained staff at check in. Very rude
Location and attentive and friendly staff
Seeing flies on the cakes at breakfast!
The bed and the view
That I could not get a printed or emailed receipt from the hotel for my stay.
I stay 5 nights at the hotel and the last day I asked for late checkout to make and would not let me, because my flight was at 8:30pm, I had to leave to the airport and wait 8 hours...
Food was not very good yet very expensive. Traveling in and out was very tough.
