Good sized rooms for nyc in reasonable shape, flat screen TV's, close to c & e subway. Updated rooms and decent view (room 1613). Carpet was filthy as was the grout in the bathroom, took a week to get the entry light fixed, the pricey internet was a joke- I've had faster dial-up connections- it was seriously the worst I've ever had in any hotel in any country, which includes the far east. When calling guest services, you can expect to wait from 5-15 minutes on hold, same for room service. Beware- everything is extra here and your final bill will have a lot of extra expenses unless you're careful. This is a tourist trap hotel and if you're there on business, you're totally out of luck. Also, very noisy from the street and hallway- there are tons of kids and tourists making noise at all hours of the day and night and clogging the lobby- all totally uncontrolled. Hotel is under construction and guest services says "yes, construction and jack hammers until 9.00 pm". Not- we're sorry for the inconvenience or anything else, just that's the way it goes- get over it.

The people there are really nice. I booked the hotel as a single king bedroom at first. Since we have three people, I ask them to give me a double bed room. They were really nice to get me one, even though it's thanksgiving weekend with lots people.

The beds were amazingly comfortable. The staff was rude. They charged for everything, including checking luggage and using the internet in the rooms. Despite being a luxury hotel, they used the cheapest supplies for the rooms.

Very little, in fact one of the worst Sheratons I have stayed at. My room was not serviced in 3 days. I arrived late and put up by the ellectrics room, so it was noisy. Upgrade building noise started at 7am. Free wireless in lobby was restricted to 2 pcs, for an 1100 bed room hotel.

Whenever we come to the city, we stay at the Sheraton Towers. It's always clean and has all the basics of what I'm looking for. The price is fair for NYC hotel prices and it's clean. The staff is on top of their game and there's never been a problem, everyone is curtious. I have to admit, with all the influx of bed bugs, that is the first thing I checked for, and as far as I know, none in sight. That was comforting in itself, or I would have been out of there. We had lovely accomodations, and the bed was very comfortable. We were in a good location and could walk to most places we like to go see, everything went smooth and it was a happy, festive trip. Only thing, we wish we could check in earlier and stay later the next day, that's all, with the luggage it's hard to extend your day, but you do have check in baggage for people and that helps alot. I don't really have any complaints. Just the luggage as I stated above, was a problem for me, can't leave anything very valuable behind in the baggage room and lugging it around the city isn't fun. So an early check in and later or safer place to put your luggage would help greatly.

I was very surprised by the rooms. While the lobby was bright and refreshing, the hotel room rug was stained in spots. Very disappointing for a Sheraton.

Reasonable price for a quiet and clean room on central Manhattan. 1600 dollars incl taxes for 6 nights. Got a room on the 38th floor with a nice view. Nice beds and a crib for our baby. Starbucks coffee provided. Great location close to Times Square, the theatres, Central Park and the museums. The cleaning could have been a little bit better but it was ok. As many other chain hotels on Manhattan this Sheraton has a lower standard than Sheraton hotels on other locations.

The location was really great just at the heart of Midtown and hotel rooms are clean besides being reasonably equipped. You can walk many of the sightseeing & shopping areas by just walking. Of course a quite convenient location for business and events. Hotel and especially the lobby was too crowded even sometimes you cannot find a seat to sit down. They charge for the Wi-fi in the rooms still even for that kind of a high-priced chain hotel in nyc. Rooms were small and there were a lot of traffic in the lobby and elevators.

We had a room on the 49th floor and couldn't hear any noise! The view was great and we could see over to central park. The staff at the hotel were really helpful and made good suggestions - on how to travel to certain places, good restaurants..... They were very genuine and sincere and not all about making a dollar! We did stay get checked into a lower rooms in error and they were not refurbished although ok the higher floors are perfect- great sized bed, decent sized room with sofa and modern decor.
