Location Staff Room quality
We loved the location-great for visits to. Central Park, Times Square,Ground Zero, Food and Wine Festival,Caroline's on. Broadway. The beds are extremely comfortable-as are all Sheraton beds and the view from our window was straight towards Times Square!
There's nothing we didn't like!
Good location... and good iaccomadations
Concierge who didn't have any unberellas but the Bell man who did and yes , . I did return the umberella
Surly reception, delayed check-in, abysmal public facilities, no bar till 5pm and a part time Starbucks until then which was serve yourself, everything so brown, Tired room and bathroom, 3933 has no drawer unit, dusting questionable although cleaners were the only thing charming, Great Guy behind the tickets desk is the only redeeming feature.
Perfect for the Business traveler. Great location.
Breakfast was not good value for money
This hotel is clean ,friendly and homely
Excellent location; minutes from everything we wanted to do around around Times Square and the Theatre District. Clean room, though small.
We were there for a quick 2-day one night weekender, so we arrived at 9:30 am. No early check-in was allowed before 1, but a secure storage area was available (be warned: this baggage storage is $4 per bag after you check-out, not cool if youre flying out in the evening)
Perfect location, far enough away, but still in the middle of the action. Great access to subway system. Loved the hotel.
The maid service was good in particular a lady called Destiny and your club room breakfast etc and the waiter who looked after us so very well. Staff here were all very helpful. Rooms were clean and nice comfy beds with nice finishing touches like robes and smellies for bathroom
I think leaving luggage to collect need not be a service you pay for it should be complimentary. The cost for our room was 507 dollars for one night I feel it should be included
Convenient to times square.
No happy hour.
Nice people at the reception, especially Joy and Christian Kios
The booking-staff, especially Naomi Perez, was horrible! First she claimed, that something was wrong with our creditcard, then 8 months later, she used it without telling us. She refused to give us a receipt that confirmed, that we had payed all we should, and she would not confirm, that her acces to our creditcard would be deleted. She was unreliable and unprofessional - and she was head of the booking-office of the hotel! We had to spend many hours of our stay in New York to convince the hotelreception and Naomi Perez, that the booking-confirmation from Booking.com was correct even though Naomi Perez had agreed to that prior to our arrival, and to get a confirmation, that we had payed for our stay. It was a nightmare! Do not ever stay at this hotel, if you go to New York!
Location and price were my main likes. I have stayed here before and after renovation.
Be sure and take some earplugs. The renovations did not include soundproofing between rooms. I could hear phone ringing and conversations in the adjoining rooms. Noise from the hallways kept me awake much of the night.
The amount of time it took to wait for a lift to our floor.
The location was fantastic and the rooms comfortable.
Having to pay a high price for internet in the room, not being allowed to put personal items in the mini bar fridge.
Central to a lot of attractions (central park, times square & Broadway)
7th Ave. is were a lot of hawkers operate. Very confronting when stepping out of hotel.
Location and amenities like free coffee on the room.
The windows cannot isolate the noise from the streets, one of them under works. No WI-FI available on the room.
Really comfy beds. Free Starbucks coffee in the room was a nice compliment.
After staying more than 2 weeks in the hotel, they didn't allow to make a late checkout and then charged 24 dollars for storing the luggage for couple of hours. This was a little disappointing. And by the way to receive an amazon delivery the hotel also charges $10 per parcel.
Good location. Nice room. Comfortable bed.
Staff from top to bottom were very rude and unhelpful. Especially in the restaurant where they either completely ignored us or were very patronising. We arrived after 10 hour flight at 8:00am and no way could we check in before 3pm, had to change/freshen up in restrooms..absolutely no facilities to offer us!
Bathrooms little cramped
Bathrooms a little cramped, but overall 'okay'
Comfortable room, right next to a metro station and just some blocks to Times Square or Central Park.
We payed 60 dollars for a 1 minute call to Brazil and when we checked out, we needed to pay 4 dollars per baggage to let them in the luggage room until our flight time. Wifi only in the lobby
Location was nice, nice renovation.
House keeping service was bad. Everyday we needed to call to ask for towels and shampoo.
Whilst the hotel was great for a number of things I required, I had simple needs, it did feel as though the price we paid was down to location. I cannot complain as it was a great location to get around.
The beds were comfortable and the staff friendly. Nice location smack in the middle of manhattan.
No free wifi. I found a dirty sock in my room upon check-in, the cleaning hadn't been done properly. And after check-out we wanted to leave our bags at the reception because our flight wasn't until later, and they actually charged for that.
