noise old rooms
* Very convenient location for Downtown Palo Alto and Stanford (close to Caltrain, Stanford shuttle, or just walk) * Nice box with multiple electric & USB outlets on the desk
* The bathroom: has a sliding door, so it doesn't close all the way!(?) No hooks on the wall, so nothing to hang towels or clothes on. And very little space around the sink for your stuff. * No electric outlets near the bed, so you can't have your phone nearby & charge it. * One small closet, in an inconvenient location -- near the bed, instead of at the entrance. * On my second night, I discovered that the towels I used the previous day were taken, but not replaced. Only the small face towels were left. * Loud music coming from the pool throughout the night. I called the desk around 4am and they turned it off, eventually. * $10/day for Wifi? In the heart of Silicon Valley? in 2014? * If you book through booking.com, you can't get United MileagePlus points.
That it is in Palo Alto
Train ran right next to my room late into the night and early in the morning.
first room to close to elevator
Should cancel wifi charge from customers, most hotels offer free wifi now.
From the valet to the front desk was quick and easy. We were instantly upgraded to a room with a better view free of charge. The room was comfortable with a balcony over looking the koi ponds. The bar/ restaurant and pool area is a great place to feel like your on a mini vacation. It's quite a romantic setting at night, having drinks by candle light. Staff was attentive, helpful and nice. The room service was fast and very good. I'd would recommend this to anyone wanting to get "away" for a night. The quick walk to downtown Palo Alto is so nice.
The room was a great size and had a comfortable bed and nice size bathroom.
I had to bring all my own food for my trip so I requested a refrigerator in the room, but it was broken. I tried for a few hours to have it work but it didn't. My food rotted.
Nice pool. Family friendly.
The amenities and selection of restaurants near by. great centralize location to Standford University
The hair on the mirror
One of the best (if not the best) Sheraton hotels I've stayed in. Beautiful location, super large room, and overall great quality for a Sheraton.
Staff were a little difficult to communicate with due to language barrier (couldn't understand my English accent)
Charge money for wifi
Dog friendly and no charge.
Booked the room for 4 people thinking it was 2 double beds, it was one king, they said they only had 2 rooms with double beds, if you're traveling in groups or with family, look elsewhere. Staff was very helpful getting us a rollaway after reading my booking.
The LOCATION! After a 100 degree walking tour of Stanford with our children we did not want to travel far. Imagine our surprise when the hotel was actually across the street! The kids hit the pool within minutes to cool off and I turned down the air and took a much needed nap on the comfy bed! The convenient walk into darling Palo Alto was perfect too! Fun way to end our trip!
location was excellent, it was quiet and beautifully laid out.
I like the hotel staff there, so nice and with the smile all the time. They always try to help. All of them.
Comfortable, large room with nice amenities.
NO free wifi was a huge minus.
I was booked by booking.com n request iron with double bed but I was dispointed because they said I can't get the room with double bed n they give me king size bed with sofa bed , because I was booked the hotel by booking.com , We're really tired that night from driving 12 hours n I accept the offer and the next day , early morning I called receptionist to asked if they have room available for me like we booked n the girl said no we don't have it , till I asked for the manager n finally they give me 1 , I don't understand , what the different booking a room from booking.com and other company , why I can't get a room I request it , that's really make me not comfortable to sleep that night , I'm tired n I need to sleep 3 persons in 1 bed
I found that i forgot my phone after i check out one day later. when i call back to the hotel the staff said he keep it for me and i can got it when i arrived the hotel when i'm LA.
Lights in the room had no dimmer settings; internet acces was terrible so I paid for the hotel wifi but it was no better. Had to pay for parking.
Great location to Stanford and downtown Palo Alto.
Older hotel that needs some updating. The AC registers in the room were the old types that are really noisy. The bathrooms were very small. Rooms were clean but because of the older carpet etc. they seemed not clean.
I loved the staff there. They all are so friendly and helpful. Efficient, quick with the smile on a face. The best hotel staff ever.
I did not like the restaurant. The food in the bar was good but at the restaurant was horrible. I wonder I survived that fish I had.
The hotel's architecture is nice, rooms surrounding a pool.
The hotel is definitely over-priced. E.g. internet costs $10 per day in the rooms.
