Most of the staff was exceptional! The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was very clean. The view was wonderful.
The Club Level food was a major disappointment this time. The valet broke our little cooler The air conditioning in our room kept turning off, maintenance fixed it and it went out again in 12 hours. Room was too hot. The remote on TV had to be replaced, had to call maintenance.
They gave me qween size bed where i booked for king size bed room. When i told them this is not what i booked. They just told me this what we have available now.

We loved our stay at this hotel and would go back. We were in the Bay Tower, in a room facing the Bay (1197). Large room, confortable bed, balcony with views over Downtown San Diego and the Bay, quaint swimming pool, convenient parking.
Nothing really. We did hear a few airplanes when we were at the pool (the hotel is close to the airport), but nothing when in our room or on our balcony. Convenient if you have a car.
Our room was not clean; peanut crumbs left in the blue chair and sewage came up in the bathroom sink.
Never seen so dirty windows in a hotel that considers view from the room one of its strongest points. Also dirty bathroom with hair in the shower. If you look at the pictures of the pool at the webpage and they attract you to the hotel - beware as you might be booked to a part of the hotel which is over a mile to the main building and there the pool is just a little whole in the ground - we felt absolutely cheeted on this one. Also do not expect starbucks facility in that part of the hotel all they offer are product of starbucks which has nothing in common with the original.

The room was clean and comfortable and overall a nicely designed. We had a great little balcony that looked over the marina.
No mini fridge provided. There was a note that said call the front desk to have one brought to your room, but when we called they said they were out. The hotel was priced alright, but everything in it was very expensive and staff was not as helpful as I would have liked.
We fully pre-paid for the room through booking.com. We had two rooms for three days. Upon arrival, we learned parking is $25 per day. In addition, there was a $100 charge per room per night for "incidentals." That's $600 for incidentals and $75 for parking. For Most families, I'm sure that's a lot of money when it was not disclosed when purchasing on booking.com. The incidental charge is reimbursed after check out, but because we didn't plan on the fees, it created money issues. Also, when we paid for the room the photos and amenities were at the main hotel. Our room was at a differently location and didn't have what was on the booking.com website. There was a refridgerator, but it's loaded with snacks etc that have sensors. If any item is moved, u automatically are charge for the item whether u consumed it or not. Be careful not to place a bottle of water in the fridge, it will cost u. The scenes is nice, but there is not much as far as restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant will cost $22 per plate just for breakfast. And the breakfast is Buffett style and the food is not always fresh. My advice, pay a little more for a better hotel. This one appears nicer and u will be left paying a lot more then expected.

The telephone in our room did not work. It was pretty annoying since we hsd2 come down to the reception for all questions. We complained everyday of our 3night stay but no one fixed it. The last day I fussed about it with the front desk and the guy there said they wud comp of a nights stay for us. The next morning when we were checking out we got to know tht thr was no note made of this promise. The staff had no idea who authorised the free night stay. I spoke to the supervisor who then finally agreed to do it,

The Sheraton has an unusual smell to the place.. I understand that the place is ginormous, but finding my room was difficult and I flagged a staff down to help me. When I arrived at my room, the AC didn't work so I called and asked for help. I was told that it worked, but I insisted that it really didn't work because it was so muggy. I got tired of waiting for "it to work" so I left to the lobby and asked for another room. Also, maybe put a bigger sign on your fridge? Because I grabbed 4-5 items and then I was automatically charged for them. That wasn't cool, especially since I didn't even want half the stuff.

The view and location were excellent.
The room was not so clean. Glasses were with spots, dust behind the TV, no refrigerator... It didn't leave up to 4 stars for me. Plumber came in the middle of the day to fix something without prior notice?! The sink got clogged on the 2'nd day after the plumber's visit...

Cost of Breakfast Buffet $20 is a bit much so I had to eat more to get my moneys worth. $15 would seem to be about right.
Rooms were clean, odorless and beds were very nice and comfortable. The views were excellent.
Hotel restaurant was poor in service. It took us 15 minutes to get waited on (not crowded) and we waited for over an hour for our food and finally walked out without eating.
