    Access cards didn't work correctly and even with multiple visits to the front office it still had issues.

    Location and view of the bay, breakfast buffet was very good but if more items added it will be great

    Most of the staff was exceptional! The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was very clean. The view was wonderful.

    The Club Level food was a major disappointment this time. The valet broke our little cooler The air conditioning in our room kept turning off, maintenance fixed it and it went out again in 12 hours. Room was too hot. The remote on TV had to be replaced, had to call maintenance.

    They gave me qween size bed where i booked for king size bed room. When i told them this is not what i booked. They just told me this what we have available now.

    Views of the seaport, convenience of airport access.

    Long walks to rooms with bags; self-parking charged but then too full to use so had to pay valet premium. Surly service in the only restaurant.

    The view! The big bed. & the mirror in front of it. Small, but nice pool. Clean towels! Warm water. We checked at late- gladly paid the extra $ then somehow lucked out (?) and didn't have to pay for parking.

    Tacky art...no big deal though. Music outside in the morning for breakfast was obnoxious .

    the room was secluded

    wish there was transportation to get to the room upon checking in and checking out. had a lot of back to tug with. "bell boy I get it".

    It took me almost an hour to check in although it was very late at night. The receptionist took more than 30 min to arrange a connecting room which she never did! Beware the hotel has 2 different property, the second building is not far from the first one but it is not in line with it in terms of quality. It looks and feels like 3 stars hotel at max. In room dining is rip off, for 2 pizzas, they charged more than $50!

    We loved the room and the location close to water sports!

    It was only walking distance to a couple of restaurants but they were excellent

    Pool is nice

    Upon arrival at 11pm, the front desk lady was extremely rude and hard to communicate with. The room carpet was wet and we had a false evacuation alarm at 4 am one night. The pool staff did not care about the guests...overall, very poor and sad service.

    The location and property is great

    long lines at front desk, no towels or staff at pools, problems with entering and leaving parking area due to card reader not working properly...

    Loved the view of the bay! It was very quiet. Staff was great.

    A couple of SMALL changes regarding cleanliness would have made it perfect.

    Very nice staff. Especially MATTHEW at the front curb, who constantly came over and let us in and out of the parking lot.

    Parking key never worked, really, NEVER. The pool is dark and shaded, with no outside bar. Our balcony was also dark and shaded.

    We loved our stay at this hotel and would go back. We were in the Bay Tower, in a room facing the Bay (1197). Large room, confortable bed, balcony with views over Downtown San Diego and the Bay, quaint swimming pool, convenient parking.

    Nothing really. We did hear a few airplanes when we were at the pool (the hotel is close to the airport), but nothing when in our room or on our balcony. Convenient if you have a car.

    Our room was not clean; peanut crumbs left in the blue chair and sewage came up in the bathroom sink.

    Never seen so dirty windows in a hotel that considers view from the room one of its strongest points. Also dirty bathroom with hair in the shower. If you look at the pictures of the pool at the webpage and they attract you to the hotel - beware as you might be booked to a part of the hotel which is over a mile to the main building and there the pool is just a little whole in the ground - we felt absolutely cheeted on this one. Also do not expect starbucks facility in that part of the hotel all they offer are product of starbucks which has nothing in common with the original.

    Everything... plain an simple. Everything went smooth an service everywhere was super friendly and efficient!

    The bars alcohol beverages were very weak an highly priced :(

    The room was clean and comfortable and overall a nicely designed. We had a great little balcony that looked over the marina.

    No mini fridge provided. There was a note that said call the front desk to have one brought to your room, but when we called they said they were out. The hotel was priced alright, but everything in it was very expensive and staff was not as helpful as I would have liked.

    We fully pre-paid for the room through booking.com. We had two rooms for three days. Upon arrival, we learned parking is $25 per day. In addition, there was a $100 charge per room per night for "incidentals." That's $600 for incidentals and $75 for parking. For Most families, I'm sure that's a lot of money when it was not disclosed when purchasing on booking.com. The incidental charge is reimbursed after check out, but because we didn't plan on the fees, it created money issues. Also, when we paid for the room the photos and amenities were at the main hotel. Our room was at a differently location and didn't have what was on the booking.com website. There was a refridgerator, but it's loaded with snacks etc that have sensors. If any item is moved, u automatically are charge for the item whether u consumed it or not. Be careful not to place a bottle of water in the fridge, it will cost u. The scenes is nice, but there is not much as far as restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant will cost $22 per plate just for breakfast. And the breakfast is Buffett style and the food is not always fresh. My advice, pay a little more for a better hotel. This one appears nicer and u will be left paying a lot more then expected.
