The hotel is being renovated...no place to eat. and nobody informed us.
As a handicapedd person I find paying for parking objectionable, I think it is also against state laws.
The room was newer and clean
The website said there was a restuarant and bar in the hotel. This turned out to be false. We were an older couple who did not want to go looking for a place to eat. We were not happy. Also the shower in the room had alot of mold where its caulked.
They have no bar where you can go and have a few drinks with friends!
ice cube maker was broken for 3days while we stayed. (reported a hotel staff but it was out of order for at least 3 days)
easy to get to. Great service.
Bed was nice & firm. Staff were attentive, although limited in alleviating the situation due to ongoing remodeling.
Preparing the Hotel to become : "Crown Plaza" __"Lots of Dust". [should have stated]__Smell of glue and paint & dust permeating throughout the Hotel. Air-conditioner is preset and gets hot in the rooms. Big Hassidic Convention on the week-end, (lots of noise), with kids running around in the corridors and playing Football & such in the lobby [basically made lobby usage impossible] Wooden Bed frame was broken, low to the ground, and kept cutting my feet. Confusion with the Shuttle. Not much TV channel choice.
The room was clean with good air conditioning.
They charge extra for parking, ($10.00). There is a group that uses the hotel every weekend, (I was told), as a retreat, and their many children are loose and loud in the lobby till far too late at night.
price, safety, location, cleanliness
construction noises early in the morning, echoeing
Modern/newl Good shuttle service
Room was redone, clean, and spacious.
Mattress should have been redone with room. They are still under construction, but it will be a very nice place when done!
There was a lot of construction to the facility that no one told us about
Clean rooms comfortable beds. Excellent shuttle service to the station. Breakfasts were included as a concession during the major renovation of the hotel.
Due to renovations apart from the breakfast room at the connecting Holiday Inn there were no dining or bar facilities. This was regrettable as there is a dearth of restaurants within walking distance. The web site showed the amenities of the old hotel and was misleading.
Room was nice.
First room the toilet didn't work. Didn't know the place was being remodeled.
clean, but carpets in rooms need an over haul
old stained carpets, could be cleaner.
They didn't let me know they were remodeling and I couldn't use their facilities all I had was a real voice to the Holiday Inn it was unreal
They didn't let me know they were remodeling when I booked it and I couldn't get to the lobby I could use our facilities I had to go to the Holiday Inn to get to my room I don't walk a long long way and I'm candy capI am handicapped
Staff was courteous, room was very clean.
Renovations were going on, pool was closed, very noisy, the room should have been discounted...or on check in it should have been revealed not to find out by searching Restuarant and pool were not ready to be used... Wasn't right. Rob Santoro
Room was fairly updated, good location, near shops restaurants.
Hotel was under construction, which we weren't aware of. Had to go check-in at the Hotel next door and walk through a maze to get to my room. Staff was not able to give proper information, all he kept saying we only check guests in for Stamford plaza. Construction noises woke my son up early in the morning.
the pooll needs to be updated, and take care about cleaning around. The water was good.
It was a very convenient location.
When we pulled back the cover of the bed, there were a top sheet and bottom sheet ( a second top sheet was actually used for the bottom) that barely covered the top of the mattress; neither extended at all down the sides of the bed: In other words, they'd run out of king size sheets, and the housekeeper hoped no one would notice. While they did give us another room in response to our complaint (I guess that they STILL hadn't cleaned any more king-size sheets), we'd already unpacked completely, so it was irritating. Also: I picked hotel, in part, because of the pictured atrium, with casual dining and bar area. However, none of that existed at the moment, since it was undergoing renovations--there was just a big empty space with drop cloths and heavy equipment. Had I known, I would've picked one of the other area hotels.
Price was reasonable location was Great Very comfortable
Coffee Serving only for one cup and one person
dirty, no tissues in room, shower leaked. There was a Bat Mitsvah going on during our stay and there were barefoot kids and huddles of kids throughout the hotel. The mess they left was horrible. I understand that the hotel is going under a remodel. Maybe as a trade for the "eye sore" you could offer guests free parking for this period.
Spacious Room; Telephone for international Call; Free WiFi; Modern Facilities; Friendly Staff.
Simple Breakfast; Location; Don't be confused with the Stanford Plaza Office Buildings.
Hotel is comfortable and a good location. Easy drive to train station or into NYC.
Hotel is under construction but that doesn't impact the rooms. The common spaces are impacted.
The pillows and the bed.
Dusty rooms. Dirty bathroom. Noisy. Restaurant closed. Under construction...fumes were awful. I have asthma, if I had known I would never have stayed there. Broken fixtures in room. No hair dryer or anything else the website said. Terrible stay.
