Sheraton Suites Key West  

Close to long beach.

The best you can do in this hotel is upgrade or book your room with beach front room that is avoid the noise of people walk around because all the room they have is so thin wall so you can hear people walk and talk fever you lock your room!

Although the Hotel was 2-3 miles from the City of Key West, the free shuttle sevice which ran every 30 minutes was an excellent addition to the services of an already very good Hotel

The staff and room were very nice.

The bedding was worn and the pillows were uncomfortable. The air conditioner was not removing the humidity from the room and it was uncomfortable to sleep.

Hotel is about 30 minutes on walking distance of Duval Street

Parking was difficult. Assigned a handicapped room which we refused after seeing the roll-in shower.

Very nice and beautiful hotel. Great swimming pool. Has excellent free transportation to the downtown of key west. Helpfull stuff.

Very Clean and extremely friendly hotel. Can't beat the shuttle to Duval, saves cab fare and is a good quick ride. Plenty of return trips. Really enjoyed Key West and the Sheraton was a big part of it. Pool area was clean and comfortable, they even brought out free popsicles. Almost on Smathers Beach makes it an easy day at the beach! We attended my Son's wedding on the beach and it was fabulous. Will Return.

The room was very pleasant. The pool and hot tub were better than most, and it was great to watch the USA-Mexico friendly soccer match at the bar downstairs. The front desk staff were very helpful (especially Serge). We appreciated the frequent shuttle bus service to downtown.

The room was a very long walk from the lobby and parking areas, and an even longer walk from the ice machine. The beach and water in front of the hotel were not very clean, there were lots of jellyfish, so swimming there was not a great experience.

I was able to bring my pet along.

I would prefer a smoking room option.

Even though our room was on the courtyard, it still would be nice to have a balcony The only rooms with a balcony were Oceanside or poolside.

I loved staying at this hotel. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere with a local style. Friendly, relaxed, courteous staff were very welcoming, the room was very nice and clean with a very good, tasteful bathroom. The hotel pool was wonderful with mild salt water instead of the chlorine-filled fresh water more often used. Key West town center is about 12 minutes drive away, and the hotel has a free shuttle bus service.

The restaurants and bars at the hotel practiced the adding of 18% tip to your total before handing you the check. They then leave a blank space where you are expected to add *further* tip, in addition to the 18% tip they've already charged you. This is a practice I strongly dislike and a place like Sheraton should not be employing this - in my opinion - rather unethical and tasteless technique to try to get people to give double tip. Also, the free internet doesn't work in the whole of the hotel. Our room was too far away from the transmitter, so internet didn't work in the room and I had to take my PC to the lobby to use the internet.

A nice hotel with a perfect location (beach across the road). The rooms are large, two flatscreens, a walk in closet. For a few nights it was just perfect. You do need a car. The free hotel shuttle could be full. Pakring is free at the hotel. In the town you must pay for parking apr. 1,50 per hour. You could pay by creditcard but sometimes you have to pay with quarters. The main street is a little bit overcrowded with drunk people in the weekends, but still has a nice atmosphere. A nice hotel for a few night on the keys.

It's a little bit overpriced. The couch was a little bit dirty. And you only have a balcony if you pay for the few beachview rooms.
