location. The room setup, the sitting room separate from the bedroom. Felt less like a hotel and more like home.
Couldn't get the temperature adjusted. Finally got to my comfort level my last night.
Good view from balcony, metro takes you quickly to DC. Rooms ok but small.
Customer service on checkout from Rita was very poor; surly, obstructive and rude. Hotel took entire cost of stay several days before I even arrived. Expensive for what it is.
The location was convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful
The hotel was clean and comfortable. There was a Harris Teeter right next door so it was easy to get food and not have to eat out for every meal. Staff was very pleasant. I'd stay there again.
Not their fault because I think Sheraton isn't the first owner, but the parking garage was a nightmare. The spaces were barely big enough for a mid-size car.
The people, your staff.
Nice pool for laps and shallow for the kids although the pool hours were horrible, not opening until 10 A.M. Restaurant downstairs was convenient, but not very good. Room, was comfortable and a good size for the price.
Pool hours (Not open until 10 A.M.), Expensive parking, Inexperienced bar staff (Couldn't make me an old fashioned), repeated problems with key cards. Had to get new ones twice and even then they never worked in the parking garage and only worked to open our room after 10 - 15 attempts each time.
Booking.com lied about the availability.Had us booked for a terrible room we didn't want! I will never use or recommend booking.com or the Sheraton brand!
Really nice plush suite
The restaurant in the hotel wasn't very inspiring but then again, there are plenty of restaurants around in old Alexandria….
I had to pay for parking. ...even though I paid almost 300 for 2 nights
The room looking over the Potomac! Very nice king suite!!
I like the fact this king suite had a seperate siting area and sleeping area. Had 2 nice size tvs and a nicely laid out "kitchen" area. It was a little bit off of king street but not too far.
Additional fee for parking
Kitchen was a joke. If you are expecting a real suite experience, this IS NOT it. Restaurant food not good at all.
Sofa bed was very uncomfortable Guest only could sleep one night out of three there. Had to go else where after first night.
the staff are very very friendly, so make you really don't pay attention to other details. they make you feel welcome. thanks very much and God bless you more everyday .
The hotel is very good and a great value for the money.
spacious, clean room, very comfortable bed! great pull out couch. free parking easily available on street. new grocery store right next door.
we booked this hotel due in part to the indoor pool and hot tub. we didn't find out until we checked in that those amenities were unavailable for use. we were not happy about that. shuttle only went to airport
Nice quiet hotel
Did not get breakfast included with room cost
Parking is expensive Elevators seem to be on their last legs
Bed was comfortable Room was large Shower had good pressure
View was a brick building Balcony was standing room only It was further from both the waterfront and from King street than I expected. The room was noisy with hallway noise. The refrigerator was a cooler, not a refrigerator. It would hold temperature but not cool anything.
Double doors between sitting room & bedroom - pretty.
Wallpaper peeling in several areas in room. Internet NOT free. Breakfast NOT free. Parking charge high - $28/day. Not free to cancel or change reservation as listed in description. Bed too soft - needs new mattresses. Never found metro station & not near shops in Old Town. Bricks not level near front door - lady fell as we were leaving. Will not recommend or stay here again!
Helpful and pleasant staff, great location, easy access to National airport, nice rooms.
Love Old Town Alexandria- my now fiancé lived near there when he was in college for a summer. We visit at least once a year- this was the 1st time we didn't stay with friends and stayed at a Hotel. The suite we had was clean, perfect size and had a balcony with a view. We walked into town , which wasn't far - it's close enough to walk but far enough that you aren't in the middle of all the action. Beautiful Hotel & town. Would def stay there again!!
The room was reasonably priced and very nice. Had a refrigerator and coffee maker. Separate French doors for bedroom was nice touch.
Sometimes front desk did not pick up the phone when I called down.
Clean room, good location, friendly staff.
Bathtub drain was clogged.
Comfortable suite layout Clean Starbucks coffee in room Quiet Friendly front desk staff Great Old Town Alexandria location Free shuttle to airport Park n'Fly plan for travel from Reagan National
