Bed was comfortable Room was large Shower had good pressure
View was a brick building Balcony was standing room only It was further from both the waterfront and from King street than I expected. The room was noisy with hallway noise. The refrigerator was a cooler, not a refrigerator. It would hold temperature but not cool anything.
Double doors between sitting room & bedroom - pretty.
Wallpaper peeling in several areas in room. Internet NOT free. Breakfast NOT free. Parking charge high - $28/day. Not free to cancel or change reservation as listed in description. Bed too soft - needs new mattresses. Never found metro station & not near shops in Old Town. Bricks not level near front door - lady fell as we were leaving. Will not recommend or stay here again!
Helpful and pleasant staff, great location, easy access to National airport, nice rooms.
Love Old Town Alexandria- my now fiancé lived near there when he was in college for a summer. We visit at least once a year- this was the 1st time we didn't stay with friends and stayed at a Hotel. The suite we had was clean, perfect size and had a balcony with a view. We walked into town , which wasn't far - it's close enough to walk but far enough that you aren't in the middle of all the action. Beautiful Hotel & town. Would def stay there again!!
The room was reasonably priced and very nice. Had a refrigerator and coffee maker. Separate French doors for bedroom was nice touch.
Sometimes front desk did not pick up the phone when I called down.
Clean room, good location, friendly staff.
Bathtub drain was clogged.
Comfortable suite layout Clean Starbucks coffee in room Quiet Friendly front desk staff Great Old Town Alexandria location Free shuttle to airport Park n'Fly plan for travel from Reagan National
No free Wi-Fi in room
nickle and diming charges ie internet fees. The pool not opening untill 4pm.
I originally booked one night (Saturday) with an online booking service. We decided to come a day early and I called the hotel directly to see if a Friday check in was available. I was booked by the hotel reservations and when I arrived, I was very specific to point out that I had two reservations and wanted to avoid any problems on Saturday as we would be out all day sightseeing. I was assured the notations made would prevent in problems. We arrived back at the hotel on Saturday afternoon and there was another couple that was in our room!!! They'd seen our things and had started out of the room when we arrived. The manager just blew it off like it wasn't a big deal which I didn't appreciate, pretty much putting it back on the fact that I had TWO reservations. I asked him if we needed to deal with a key card issue, he assured me NO. We were thankful that the people that had come in our room were honest and didn't pilfer through our things or didn't walk in a catch us in a private moment. Later that night, we returned from dinner... and of course the key cards didn't work, so down to the lobby I went...
We were able to book the room online for the next day. We needed a stay-over spot on our way home from vacation.
The room was much smaller than what we expected, with the pullout sofa opened, you could not walk around the room, we needed to move furniture to get around the bed. While the room was tidy, the bedspread had stains, the chair had stains and the baseboard in the bathroom was very dirty. The room worked fine for one night, but would not have worked for any longer for our family.
The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The facility was very well maintained--including the common areas. The staff was helpful and courteous. The location was great. Located in Old Town, but not in the busy area of Old Town. Still, there were great restaurants close by as well as a grocery store. Also, very easy access into DC via the GW parkway. I will definitely stay here again!
the price when booking thru booking.com
the fact that i was charged an additional $32 when my packaged previously stated total due $210 which was paid in advance.
Everyone was at the hotel was very helpful. Nice location for quick walk to see a few attractions
Smell in the room. Not sure if it was a smoking room at one time, but there is a strong odor on the 2nd floor and in the room.
I was charged multiple times in different/odd amounts (totaling $408). The total cost of my trip was supposed to be $480. I was given different explanations as to why that happened.
The suite style of the room. Bed was comfy for my hubby albeit a little hard for me. The pull out sofa was comfy as these go and the room was very quiet and clean. Hotel was very convenient to Old Town Alexandria.
The "balcony" is a tiny ledge on the bedroom that has a sliding door with a city view. Not really a feature. The pool was indoor only on the 2nd floor and looked nice but was a bit too family friendly for a quiet getaway.
Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Room was clean and comfortable. would stay there again.
Staff was great, rooms were clean and comfortable, a lot of shops close by. Great stay.
Parking is 26.00 a day
The reception was great and we were placed in a better room after we requested a better view. We were able to see the senate from our room! The staff is very helpful and professional. The location was in the beautiful Old Town and just couple of blocks away from King street.
The breakfast room is poorly organized and packed because the seething arrangement is awkward. However, the breakfast was decent and fresh.
My toilet was broken. It was running all night. Became backed up the next morning. Had to change rooms. Was then placed in a different type of room then what I had paid for. I prepaid and then was charged $193.00 as a deposit. Parking was expensive.
Great location and clean rooms.
Staff somewhat preoccupied and not as customer service oriented as other locations.
Hairs pasted on bathroom ceiling in room 12. Inconsistent advice about rental cars from front desk staff. Starbucks coffee in room tastes lousy. Otherwise great
The charge for the parking 26 per day
Beautiful suite Very comfortable
We thought the bottles of water was complimentry I was charged for both. They need to put a price on them or at least tell their guests that
Location. Clean rooms ,comfortable beds.
No free wi -fi in rooms. The suites are a little small.
The staff was helpful.
The property was not worth the price. The furnishing were dingy and old the halls dark, wifi at this location limited to 3 devices. For the cost of the room it should have been included. The king suite was a standard room . Towels were hard and linty. Never again...
