Poor corporation from the staff
Everything about our stay was great from start to finish .
The location can't be beat. The ferry is the easiest way in and out of the city. Restaurants in walking distance and easy parking at a reasonable price. Front desk staff are the best!
The music in the restaurant was too loud for dining. Should serve food as long as the bar is open.
Free wifi only in lobby
The beds are great, rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Quiet, pleasant staff, good restaurant. Good location.
The view of NY was amazing, clean, modern and the italian restaurant was delicious. It was nice and quiet too with friendly front of house staff
The cleaner eating some of our biscuits and the expensive ferry trips across to NY
the room did not have a refrigerator
No Fridge , Microwave
ferry to Manhattan right in front of the hotel
free wifi only in lobby
We stayed in a King Room with City View which was lovely, comfy beds, plenty of space and great views. Staff at the hotel were really helpful and friendly, especially in the bar! Location - 12 minute bus ride into Manhattan which is also really cheap! Views across the city are incredible! Go shopping in Newport, shopping centre there has everything you need and is easily accessed by the light rail, also a very cost effective way of travelling. Hoboken is also worth a visit, also accessed via the light rail.
Boat Transfer to city - expensive compared to bus and not as frequent WiFi isn't free but you can use the computers in the lobby free of charge. I would expect a hotel the size of Sheraton to offer free WiFi, quite disappointing.
Hotel in great location with views over the Hudson river to Manhattan Island that is absolutely spellbinding. Good size clean rooms. Great transport links via ferry or local bus. Free car parking!! Efficient and friendly staff, who will do anything they can to help, no matter how mad the request. Nice bar and restaurant attached. Fast elevators that come within seconds of pressing the button...a rarity in most busy hotels! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Second floor rooms are opposite conference rooms. They place all the refreshment trolleys in the corridor outside your room. So early in the morning you are awoken by chinking glasses and people talking. Also trash bin located outside our room 214. We had the dawn chorus at 5:30 as the trash van turned up and dragged the thing across the sidewalk sounding like fingernails being dragged down a blackboard! Also at 7:30 ish building work stared up in the lot opposite the hotel with diggers and lorries clanging and banging! However hotel moved us to 10th floor after I mentioned it in passing (not as a complaint). So I was very happy after that and woke to almost complete silence.
Cleanliness was excellent, rooms were very comfortable and perfect for a good sleep.
No complementary wifi in the rooms.
The room was very nice. The view of Manhattan was breathtaking. The bed was comfortable and accommodating.
A minor problem at first they only had my upgrade for a king size bed ,but i also had a Manhattan view. Small issue that the customer service rep took very good care of us
Loved the view and that there was a brunch and exercise room available. Also there was a ferry to the City for getting to dinner and a play.
Didn't like the little extra charges...water $4 and no microwave and/or mini fridge. Also the mattress frame was defective on the one side.
There was a person on the reception desk.So we have to wait so much.
The bed was god, the room was god
Lot of Noyes in the night, work outside.
Spectacular view of Manhattan.
After going through the torture of learning NYCs transit system and taking the whole afternoon to get from NY to weehawken, we saw that there was a cute little ferry that costs $9 and it takes you from directly in front of the hotel, across the hudson and onto 41st street! (Wish we had known that before) Plus a complimentary bus that will take you to where you want to go in NYC! This method of travel is much more efficient than any other method of travel in NY and if you do decide to save a few dollars and stay at sheraton, youll be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to get into the Big Apple!
hotel staff very helpful
Restaurant and restaurant staff
The hotel side was good and staff was very helpful.
Restaurant is a catastrophe, noisy with no attention from the staff. We wait almost 1hour for breakfast ... we were not able to get the check... Please dissociate the Hotel from the restaurant. it will serve better the sheraton image.
The transportation to NYC
Best view of the city from bed Awesome location Lovely restaurant downstairs
Great view, nice rooms
queue at the reception at check in
The room size plus comfort and traveling distance from Manhattan specially by ferry.
The shower's water pressure could have been better and breakfast was not included.
