Walk distance to Universal Studio. Very nice room and good services.
We were here for the International Myeloma Conference. The accommodations were great. The gal at the bar pool was very accommodating to serve us an early lunch at the pool. My husband had to take medication. Also, a gentleman at the downstairs restaurant generously filled our ice chest so my husband had plenty of cold ice for his shoulder (surgery). It was the first vacation in years and we enjoyed the rest-even if it was a cancer conference. Thanks
The bar service in the lobby started out poorly. When we were finally waited on, the waitress was wonderful. She turned it around quickly. Good job on her part! We did let the front staff know we were having trouble getting waited on earlier.
Location and quite
They need to improve the facility kind old
The location was perfect
The coffee bar and dining room had very limited hours. Our tv and room lights were not working when we arrived
The location of the hotel and the decor of the entrance an lobby.
The sound travels down the hall way from the elevator and guest walking and talking as they asked by the room the food was satisfactory
very good location and nothing else
I am very disappointed. service very attentive. The standard room was on the parking level with a view to facing the window cars. I was feeling like I slept in the basement. Internet extra charge - for the price this is outrageous. The room definitely require renovation. Dirty and stained floor.the hotel is definitely not worth the money
The location was great. Valet was super friendly and quick and helpful. They gave us one free bottle of water.
After waiting like 25 minutes to check in because the line was long and people kept coming up and the attendant would take care of them first in stead of making them wait like we did- at ten at night with two small kids this is what we experienced: Check in attendant said we were lucky to get a room with 2 beds. (There were 3 of us.) When we got to our room- it was super late and the kids were beat so I did not try to switch but the attendant again- basically said I should be grateful for getting my room so I refrained from stating my feelings. There was hair in the sink- more than one place and it was not ours. There was hair in the toilet- not ours. The room smelt like disinfectant and not the good kind. The room was not kept up well and the bathroom door was all banged up and missing paint in places. The remote to the tv was so used you could not read many of the buttons. The sheets were stiff and scratchy. The room next door I guess had a toilet over flow so the clean up guy was vacuuming it up at 1030 at night- there was a huge pile of wet towels on the floor between our room and theirs. Frankly the hair freaked me out so bad- I felt like the room had not even been cleaned since the last guest and I was disgusted and could barely move all night and barely slept. In the morning I could not wait to depart. I feel they ripped me off completely and I would never stay again unless they apologized and either refunded our stay.
Location is good
Room not clear
We where so impressed by the greeting that we received. Adults got glass of wine and our son was offered cookies and water. Staff was just awesome . Highly recommend !!!! Will stay there again.
Location,Concierge very helpful
Front desk(Dora)guest service manager did not acknowledge booking from booking.com and said it was my problem to resolve, which I did ,which took considerable time, she was not apologetic, all other staff where helpful,I was checked in immediately and had my room upgraded, reservations need to check all bookings directly from booking website as faxes can be missed all wrongly booked, front desk personal need to have a different approach to dealing with guests when there is a problem with a third party bookings.
We booked this hotel since our friends have already booked it. The staff was great, really helpful. We arrived late in the evening after a long day in the universal studio and had problem with our booking but we got quick and convenient fix. Thumb up to the reception! Shuttle bus to universal studio is good. The beds were comfortable, we all got a good sleep, or we were too tired:) Nice night view of the city from our 19th floor.
Quite expensive as for the hotel facilities but can still recommend because of the staff and the local. Anyway the hotel for us is mostly a place to sleep.
Close to Universal Studios, which was primary reason for choosing hotel.
Cost - quite expensive for 2 night stay.
Friendly and accommodating staff! Awesome location for visiting Universal Studios
Pool is great for children and teens. Cabanas were clean and available at no extra charge with poolside waiters. Location is marvelous. Do not need a car. Frequent shceudled shuttle service to Universal.
Did not get the double beds I requested but they sent a rollaway bed to us. Had to ask three times over the first 12 hours before they sent the roll-away bed up to us,
location next to universal studios
.were given the impression that we were further away from walk of fame and Chinese theatre than we were
Nice location Good comfort level
Parking charges - Parking fee should be complementary Electronic device malfunction - Old TV & telephone handsets - frequent problems
Old hotel , small rooms , old decor ( what shows in pictures totally different from what I saw), no free internet , expensive parking, rude staff and bad customer service. I was going to stay for 6 days, I only stayed one night and changed the hotel it's totally not Sheraton hotel standards at all
Elevators slow and unpredictable. Only 2 of the 3 were working during our stay and they were overcrowded
Everything was of excellence.
Not having the immediate access to the pool . Could renovations have been done in the off season.
The hotel rooms were a bit tired
Room size was very good Staff very friendly and helpful. Great shuttle bus to Universal ( up steep bank ).
Huge tree obscured Pool View which we played extra for. Balcony in Lanai Room was wasted because of this.
Location and staff.
Pool closure. Was supposed to be completed a few weeks before we arrived. Our room overlooked the pool a small group of men appeared to achieve very little and pool was no where near complete. No communication advising pool not complete until we checked in. Use of pool was a priority. Alternative arrangements to use pool at another hotel offered , we used and enjoyed. Didn't enjoy trekking across car parks towells under arm.
Location with respect to Universal Studios. The room had a satisfactory balcony. Bell men and valet staff were wonderful, knowledgable, and very friendly.
The neighboring room guests, known as "regulars", were loud and always slammed their doors. Remodeling was taking place around the pool area (trees and plants) just outside our balcony so the pool was closed and the workers were noisy. The fitted sheet came off the bed each night.
The proximity to Universal Studios was great. While we were traveling we would just pick a hotel and go. We were pleasantly surprised when the hotel was so close. The pear martinis at the bar were exceptional!
