Great Location Friendly staff
Towels are old.
THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE
2nd FLOOR IS DINGY LOOKING .CHIPPED BATHROOM DOOR AND FURNITURE. BURNED MY HAND ON COFFEE POT CAUSE U HAVE IT ON 2nd SHELF. CALLED FRONT DESK THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL US AND MOVE US . NEVER CALLED !!
The facilities were beautiful and very clean. Food was excellent. It was well priced for quality and location. The shuttle was very prompt. Yet the facilities were in perfect walking distance to Universal Studios and City Walk. It was a wonderful leisurely day trip to see "Whoville".
Good location, safe, clean, minutes walking to universal studio. One stop by metro to Hollywood. Safe environment, you can walk on the street in the night without being worry about anything - if you choose to live in downtown hotels, this never happens. Nice and friendly staff.
Relatively high price, and you need to pay for wifi at a price of $9.9 per day.
The first room we were given smelled like smoke. This is a smoke free hotel, so a previous guest broke the rules. The front desk immediately got us a new room. We arrived by motorcycle. The valet staff directed me to a nice secure parking area.
Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to Universal Studios, but they also had free shuttles.
Price for parking and wifi!
Good lobby & bar, friendly staff, nice business center', good restaurant.
My room was what I'm assuming is the 'old building'. The room itself was fine, but the wayfinding was less than ideal. The long walk down what felt like a dark corridor, to an elevator, etc. felt like I was going to the dungeon. The first time I walked down there I was unsure whether I was going the right was or if I had misunderstood where I was to go.
I couldnt shower for 2 days because there was no hot water. Hotel said because it was 6 am. Hot water wasnt turned until after.
easy acces friendly all inclusive options, store and restaurants on site
Can't think of anything
How expensive it was
The room was lovely and very comfortable, stunning views over North LA with easy access to Universal City and Studios. Breakfast buffet was also delicious.
Paying for Wi-Fi seemed a bit much as most hotels will offer it complimentary these days.
Only 3 elevators and at times had to wait 20 minutes.
Location and service were great
Fairly dated hotel
The staff is very helpfull and friendly The location is nice and depends where you at there is a nice view very confortable !
Parking ( you need to pay $24) so add it to the price ! Wifi (you need to py also $9.95)
Location was excellent!
The beds were terribly uncomfortable like a boxspring with a mattress pad over it and you could hear the springs everytime someone moved. The walls were paper thin. Besides being right by the elevator the people in the room next door were so loud at all hours, it felt like they were in our room, that combined with the bed made for a rough couple of nights. The hotel restaurant was exactly what you would expect - ridiculously, over priced for a completely disappointing meal. Convenience to Universal Studios was why we stayed here and that was what we got.
Great breakfast. Convenient location.
-Next to the Universal Studio with Shuttlebus service -Price-quality ratio quite ok -Concierge very friendly
-Car Parking is very expensive - no other options, there is no public parking! - Hotel bar closes very early
I liked how close it is to Universal. I liked the hotel in general.
I HATED where my room was. I was on the second floor (or I should say the basement) It felt like I was going into a dungeon.
Walk distance to Universal Studio. Very nice room and good services.
We were here for the International Myeloma Conference. The accommodations were great. The gal at the bar pool was very accommodating to serve us an early lunch at the pool. My husband had to take medication. Also, a gentleman at the downstairs restaurant generously filled our ice chest so my husband had plenty of cold ice for his shoulder (surgery). It was the first vacation in years and we enjoyed the rest-even if it was a cancer conference. Thanks
The bar service in the lobby started out poorly. When we were finally waited on, the waitress was wonderful. She turned it around quickly. Good job on her part! We did let the front staff know we were having trouble getting waited on earlier.
Location and quite
They need to improve the facility kind old
The location was perfect
The coffee bar and dining room had very limited hours. Our tv and room lights were not working when we arrived
