Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort Villas  

The Hotel Pools were fantastic. The massage facility was excellent. The Villas are very clean. The pool side movie was an excellent evenings entertainment for the children.

I would advise not to book through a Third Party site such as this one as we were treated like "second class" clients. Rooms allocated to non third party clients were far superior. When we asked about this we were told that the "basic" are the room types that your agent books, yet prices are on a par with their own site.

I liked the sheraton Vistana Villages because it is on the quite end of International Drive and the I Ride stops right outside the resort. The resort is beatifull, it has everything you need if you get tired visiting the parks. The resort has 3 pools of which one is heated. The grounds and buildings are kept really clean.

The one thing I didnt like about the resort was the sales reps that try to sell you a Time Share holiday in the resort. The recption staff in the hotel invite you to a welcom breakfast but when you go down for breakfast there is a sales rep waiting for you. They have your name and they come over and sit at the table while your eating, then they start off asking you personal questions about how much you earn a year, when we informed her my husband was unemployed at the time she told us that we should have informed the hotel reception staff when we checked in, then she said she couldnt deal with us and she got up and left the table. She was so rude.

The resort is well kept. The gm and his team are doing a fabulous job. Highly recommended for anyone who wishes to visit Disney and other resorts. Located in the quieter part of International Drive with all amenities close by. A car is highly recommended.

The restaurant could improve their offering. Most of the external eateries are "burger & chips' joints. So they could be more home style cooking, E.G. Vegetables, Salads, etc... Cleaning staff try their best. However an occasional inspection by supervisors would lift the standards much higher. This is by no means to say the place is dirty in any manner. They do a good job, however there is room to excel.

Our villa was awesome! Pictures on website don't show how great the accommodations are. This is a very beautiful and relaxing place. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Its location is great as well; you are close to major attractions but off the beaten path so that tourist feeling is not there. Perfect place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation.

The only downside is the 10 am checkout...there is no late checkout available :(

We really liked the bedrooms, very comfortable and all the kitchen ware was available. Also location is very convinient.

We were very disappointed with the staff from guest services. House keeping failed to clean our room for three days and our complaints about this fell on deaf ears. However guest services would call us at least four times a day from 8:00 am onwards trying to push us to participate in time-sharing plans, but never once were prepared to provide any service to us during our stay. I was also amazed that at the swimming pool they wanted to hire children`s floating noodles for $7.50 per day when just down the road you can them for $1.99 at the supermarket. I generally like the Sheraton Group but this is the first time I have been very disappointed with their profit before service attitude

The rooms were nice.

I didn't like the complimary breakfast that the time shares people offered. Very aggressive towards you when your not interested in their product. Made you feel uncomfortable, I think the hotel itself should do something to fix that problem.

We have stayed aty the Sheraton Vistana Villages 3 or 4 tiimes in the past and we like it very much. The rates are very fair and the rooms are comfortable and homey. We took our 3 year old grandson to Sea World this trip and last year we took him to Disney with our 2 other grand children and their parents. We will most definately stay at Vistana again. It is close to everything as well as shopping.

The pillows were terrible - feather lends no support to the neck or back.

Great service, great facility, wonderful place to stay!

The rooms were spacious and well equipped with washing machine, fully equipped kitchen etc. Pool area was great. The hotel has 2 gyms, which was great to a sporting family.

On one night we found a cockroach in our bedroom. Immediately after I told about this in the reception they send someone to solve the issue and no bugs were seen after that. I did not like the "free breakfast" offer which was actually timeshare marketing event. This was not clearly communicated when the welcome package was introduced.

Lots of room.

Check out time a little early. House keeping knocked on the door at nine thirty. Also there was no garbage can or garbage bags.

Good staff and service.

They try to sell timeshare at the same time of booking in. They did give us $100 for the time though. Booking out at 10am you get a knock on the door at 9.15am to tell you it's time to book out which is rude and assumes you can not tell the time.

Excellent accomodation. Timeshare resort, which will invite you to presentations and offers various "freebies" if your interested (I wasn't). However sales staff are not pushy and will leave you alone if you refuse their invitation.
