Staff was very accommodating. Check in was very easy. They even gave us a complimentary room upgrade to a full ocean view room. Check out was a breeze. No major problems.
Rooms could be updated a bit. Its not terrible though.
The location was great. It was in the beach with a gorgeous view of the ocean from our room. I booked the room for my wife's 35th Birthday weekend. She loved the hotel. We would definitely recommend it to friends family, etc.
It was just a little further from Las Olas than I thought.
The staff at the front desk was very helpful.
the room was very dusty as if it were dusted for a long time. hallway and elevator was not clean. I will never stay there again.
Having the beach and pool so close made it very easy to do both with young kids.
Food and drinks were very expensive at the hotel.
location to cruise port and beach
plastic cover mattress pads
We stayed on the beach tower and it was so nice to have the beach so near! Easy to be with kids: first swimming in the sea then in the pool!
Bad (?) thing was that the hotel was not in the busiest area, there are not many choices of restaurants or shops near (not far though but after a day on the beach we couldn't walk that 2 miles :-) )
Dated room and bathroom No laundry service on weekends (even during the boat show!) Poor reaction when all I asked for was black teabags in my room instead of coffee. Not good enough for a basic request
Great location on the beach
Very outdated and dirty. Staff would not let me check in even though I made the reservation and had my husbands company credit card. Never had this trouble at any other hotel. Will never stay for business again and would not recommend. Rude check in staff horrible !!!!
the beach Tower building, the pool and the terrific beach
Comfortable bed, pillows Short walk to beautiful beach. Friendly staff. 10-15 min to Ft. Lauderdale airport
Onsite gift shop would close at random times
My first impression of this place was that it would be a very comforting experience, I was given an impeccable service in every section of the hotel, the food was exquisite, I was located in the 11th floor and the view was magnificent, It has a very nice view toward the ladscape of the beach and the marina, overall it was an outstanding experience and I would definitely recommend it to all my acquaintances
Everything was excellent
We had a great room on the beach. Staff were great very helpful.Would stay again.
the wreck bar excellent and great pools
paying for parking
The pool ,confort
Oh my gosh! I love the beach right there at the back of the building. that was by far the best part. The location was great. The staff was friendly. Food was great. Drinks were great. Weather was amazing. Our room was great too, the bed was super comfy.
Now I am not one to be upset about prices and stuff, but I feel like this hotel was way more costly that it should have been. $25 a day for valet parking, and $20 a day to park it yourself?! C'mon! I believe you own that parking garage! Also, they took a "deposit" for the room for the amount of time we stayed but it wasn't a small deposit. Try about $300. We couldn't eat one night because we were there for 10 days and this was a Tuesday, and my boyfriend didn't get paid until Wednesday so that was all the money we had for an entire day. Also, drinks were way too costly, and so was the food. I'm just upset they didn't inform us that the "incidentals" were all those extras that were never explained to us. $20 a day for an umbrella that was already put out on the beach before we got there?! Thats not right. Just a heads up, if you plan on staying more than 3 days, bring a ton of extra money!! This would've been a perfect trip if it wouldn't have been because of all the hiccups we had when having no money.
The room with a view
That you have to pay to use an umbrella or cabana and there is not even service on the beach.
Friendly staff. Clean facility. Right on the beach.
Was given a room with all the facilities for the elderly. Large bathroom but small tub/shower, 1 sink and a separate shower stall for the elderly. The room was facing the loading dock (room #338 south). Very noisey early in the day with trucks and vans unloading.
Awesome set up! Still has some retro flare, underwater theme is super cool, wreck bar and mermaid show is amazing! They have 2 pools, and an actual gym/fitness room with weights and lots of equipment. 50 cent mimosas at Dos Caminos are fantastic! Loved every little thing about this hotel! And paid under $100!?! Unreal!!
mermaid pool could be updated
At the time of checking , the clerk saw I was a SPG member and she upgraded my room from standard to a suit with king bed overlooking the ocean.
My upgraded room and view
I liked the location and amenities outside of the hotel room. The bar had karaoke and there's a Starbucks kiosk and a restaurant that were very convenient. Having the pool on the beach was very nice.
The hotel room was musty and smelled like mildew. They 'upgraded' us to a suite, but that meant my friend had to sleep on a fold out couch (which was stained and ripped) instead of a bed. The fridge didn't work and had water in it. The inside of the shower curtain was extremely dirty.
Fantastic staff, very helpful. Perfect vacation spot.
The location was excellent. It was a fair distance away from the most crowded areas. The facilities were average. The view was good but not exceptional.
The room was noisy, which made it very difficult to sleep, not the ideal setting for a vacation. The view was good but not exceptional.
Never stayed at Sheraton before but will now be one of my main choices. The check in was quick and easy. The room was clean bright and spacious. Staff were pleasant. A joy to stay
Didn't like paying for parking if staying longer than 1 day this could become guite expensive and no breakfast.
