Nick and Claire were wonderful - friendly, kind, thoughtful, accommodating - they went the extra mile to make our stay the best! They noted that we were celebrating our anniversary and gifted us with a card, wine, and a heart decoration on our bed - so nice!!! The room was exquisite and comfortable and spotless. We loved the in-room coffee and chocolates as well as the Elemis toiletries and the Comfy linens. The B&B setting was beautiful. This is by far and away the best way to enjoy Northern AZ and the Grand Canyon area. Great place to come home to and it did feel like home. Thanks so much Nick and Claire. Danny & Kathleen McQuain
Our visit was toooooooooooo short!
Nick and Claire were extremely friendly and helpful, and provided us with all the info we needed. We only stayed 2 nights at the Inn, and left for Grand Canyon very early both days- we are vegan and gluten free, and Nick and Claire took extra care of us and prepared breakfast on the go (all gluten free and vegan goodies). Super nice of them! The room and the bed were very comfortable. One of the best experiences we have had in all of our travels, would definitely return and recommend to anyone. Thanks for being so wonderful!
Ice availability to guest would be nice.
Staff was very good, food and presentation was excellent, attention to details in the room with small amenities provided, cleanliness very good, location excellent.
We asked for a take away breakfast in one of the days and was not happy at all with the food that was provided, in comparison with the quality of food that we received daily when eating there. Also, as a sugestion, it will be better if the room will have a cupboard instead of hanging our clothes in the bathroom.
Nick and Claire have created a beautiful inn and have exceed expectations in every area. Room are beautifully furnished, clean, fresh robes and complementary wine. Breakfast was delicious. Best of all was the friendliness of the owners and staff.
Didn't like the fact we had to leave!
The British owners are super friendly, can't do enough for you and do all their own cooking. Food is delicious, decor and rooms are excellent and many 'little touches'.. complimentary wine, chocs, beauty products etc made for a wonderful stay.
Everything at Sheridan House Inn was much more than we expected, from the hosts, to staff to facilities. We will return next year for a longer stay.
Location. Terrace breakfast, although the seats are too low, even for my tall husband. Sheets. Delicious Breakfast. Tasty home made bread. Friendliness of staff and Nick, when saw him, which was rare.( Clair didn't make effort to meet us. Although a couple of days later she informed me when I had to seek her out of some sad news.) cleanliness except carpet ! Daily maid service. Water in fridge.
Steep drive and rickety wooden steps to house. Dirty looking and stained carpet on the stairs up to our room. Beautiful but Museum type environment. No heart in the place. Left to our own devices. Couldn't have breakfast in room as very tight and very small table and one chair. Lack of owners involvement meant staff unsupervised and we felt neglected, and erratic serving at breakfast and poor communication between both parties. Our key was bent and it took 3 days before the problem was properly attended to. Had to leave our room unlocked. Had to ask for more milk every morning at breakfast which meant my tea got cold, and had to ask for preserve every morning! Very prescriptive: breakfast 8 to 9, for example, yet saw no one for 17 minutes, not even an orange juice, on first morning. Room was small. Queen bed was not long enough for husband 6 foot 3 inches and it was too hot especially when the maid left the blind up after cleaning!
Friendly, relaxing and lovely setting. Would highly recommend. The standard of finish and decor to the rooms is excellent, the breakfast was superb.
Staff was friendly- Everything was ok and rooms comfortable. Location was nice and no noise, except an occasional train could be heard in the distance.
WiFi connection downstairs did not work as well as on other rooms. The Aspen room became hot during a warm day. A/C unit had to be used in the evening.
This hospitality and food was second to none. I would highly recommend staying here.
All the options for breakfast. I tried them all and they were all exceptional. Nick and Claire were very accommodating in making sure our stay was comfortable, helped us in our planning of sights to see and very informative of everything to do and see in the area. I would highly recommend people to stay at their Bed and Breakfast.
The food and atmosphere.
Bed was to hard.
Fantastic breakfast, Claire was very helpful facilitating our late arrival, especially since we're able to notify her only last minute. Sheridan house has nice, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect spot to reach out to Grand Canyon and several other towns.
- the best breakfast during our trip
- the beds are too short
tThe owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodations were excellent. The breakfast was delicious. Definitely would go back.
We liked the accommodations
The bed was too hard. It was very hard to get our luggage up the stairs. There wasn't enough parking up by the rooms. Could not get an answer after we left and thought we had left something. We had to drive back.
Nice breakfast, good service, we got some good tips and had a nice chat.
Welcome is very friendly, clean, good facilities, great breakfast, good recommednation for dinner, parking.
Bright sunlight coming through the gaps beside the bedroom blinds at sunrise, 4am for us.
Claire& Nick were friendly & breakfasts were sooo good. Accommodations were wonderful. Their staff Chrissy& Amy were soo nice. Loved it!
This little Inn is a true gem conveniently located right at the gateway to Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. During our brief stay, the owner was extremely friendly and provided us with all the info we needed to enjoy our time there. The Inn was recently renovated and in great condition, with elegant decor from all over the world. Unfortunately we had to leave early the next day and was unable to enjoy the complimentary breakfast, but the dining area looked really cute. Wish we stayed here longer!
Nothing much. It would be great if the checkin and breakfast time window is a bit wider considering tourists who plan to watch the sunset/sunrise at Grand Canyon will likely arrive a bit late / leave early.
The place is lovely and very well located. The breakfast was luxurious and we also been given snacks for the day. Great service at breakfast!
There is so much to say: - we had to wait 2 hours because the check in hours are only from 4 to 6 pm. We were so tired and we had to wait in the car because there was NOBODY to welcome us. - the deluxe bedroom was quite expensive for what it was. it seemed old and very empty. the bed was extra large but also very uncomfortable. the bedroom was depressing. - they make you sign an agreement about all the "rules" of the house, it was not very pleasant. - the atmosphere in general is not very friendly. Which is bad news for a bed and breakfast
We had to arrange a later check-in and were greeted by Nick, who promptly carried our bags to our room, explained everything in the room and the rest of the Inn. They had the most thoughtful amenities for a guest and weary traveler. The asked about dinner plans, and promptly arranged a reservation for us. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and got a fabulous night's sleep. Breakfast was amazing, all very fresh and delicious, not your typical "continental breakfast" ! We felt like personal guests at this very classy place. One of the best lodging experiences I have had in all of my travels, would certainly return and recommend to anyone that is considering traveling to this area. Thanks for a wonderful break on our road trip Claire and Nick!!
Friendly owners, very nice room and bath, best breakfirst ever
