Liked how close it was to mall
Small rooms, not clean, smelled of cat and dog urine, electrical worked half the time, not originally a hotel they gutted the inside and build the new walls in the old, lots of theft in the area.
Bed was very comfy. No road noise and clean.
Friendly staff, offered deals and specials like the park and fly.
Saw a few webs on ceiling, but everything else was great. Great value for your money
That we could keep our dog with us
There was hair in the shower, noisy at night and front desk had to be called 3 times. The room smelled old and musty. They put us next to a vending machine that sounded like someone was coming through our door
Older, very close to the freeway but noise was not that bad. Would not stay there again.
Our room was right next to the road but we couldn't hear any noise which was a relief. Nice assortment for breakfast: yogurts, bagels, waffles, cereal, juices, muffins, coffee, tea, etc. Clean room, friendly staff, centrally located to go shopping, watch movies, coffee shops, stores, and great restaurants.
Room was small but adequate for 1 person also some highway noise.
Great staff, easy check in and out.
size of room
too close to stairwell
staff was very friendly and kind
elevator closes too fast- no hold open button- no safety "eye" that tells it there is something caught in the door.
It had complementary Internet access and "breakfast," but there were not enough chairs to seat on and actually eat.
The hotel had a very weird smell all over. The bathroom was acceptably clean, but it was pealing in the walls. The dining area was tiny, not enough seating, the employees' fridge with their lunch was right out by the breakfast bar, and an employee was sitting with her sandals beside her in a cluttered open-door office talking in the phone and we could hear her. The place was smoke-free, but there was a couple smoking leaning in the front door the morning we were leaving, and we swallowed all their smoke when we walked out.
Hall had a musty smell. Rooms were very small not what was shown on Internet.
Good location right off the freeway
Terribly outdated and needs repairs done to walls, and doors. Lots of dings and shabby repairs done to try to hide the dings, which made them even more obvious. Ran out of towels and had to wait until the next shift came on to get the laundry done and get us new towels.
We were able to check-in early. Plenty of eating establishments.
Tube TV. Breakfast was very limited. Small room- couldn't do it if we stayed longer than one night.
Good value. Location convenient for air travel.
Room by elevator.
The staff was very friendly, price was good.
The location is not good, room had a bad odor, building seemed not taken care of, hairs on the sheets, doors/locks did not seem secure, loud barking dog in the next room over, lots of young kids hanging out to party.
The staff was very professional and friendly.
The hotel seems stuck in the last century. We were on the first floor and people were coming and going all night. The doors don't have key cards they still have keys.I didin't feel very secure. Basic cable.
My room had been redone - so new carpet, tile in bath room, etc. It was very clean. I liked having a fridge with a little freezer in the room (to refreeze ice packs for the cooler). Great value for an overnight stay.
Breakfast is fine but heavy on the sugary carbs. They did offer hard boiled eggs and plain instant oatmeal. One thing that had not been updated were the room doors. Inside there was a deadbolt, but from the outside my room key (real key, not a card) did not work on the deadbolt.
The rooms are very small & cramped The beds are hard and not comfortable The TVs have not been updated The A/C was poor There's a lot of road noise It's dark and dingy and smells old
Close to airport, excellent staff, very clean. Good value for money.
Refundable deposit for damage. Made me wonder who else stays there...and the next evening I found out. Rednecks with trucks and a trailer which blocked parking, partying late into the night. The clientele is decidedly down-market. A woman traveling alone might be cautious.
Price and easy location for traveling
Older facility. Needs a makeover
Smell in the room - quite strong. Possibly cleaning smell but turned out quite irritating, so we had to open windows all night. Room next to some machine room - turn on and off throughout the night.
It was reasonably priced unlike most other hotels around
Very small room overstuffed with furniture. Noisy location. Older hotel needed upgrading
Had to book online at the last minute and our check-in with Cristy(?) was fast and easy. She was super friendly and gave all the information we needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was so quiet! The Shilo Inn Medford is our new place to stay on our way through town. Thanks again!
