clean, quiet, easy to find, close to restaurants
The Park and Ride feature is such a blessing! Have not had this at other places. Sounds from other rooms are not noticeable. Free parking while away on trip.
Hallway needs remodeling, paint and carpet desperately
It was the only hotel that wasn't booked Friday night.
It is a old motel that needs a lot of TLC. The room was good size but I didn't feel the carpet as and floors were clean.
Location was great. Near many familiar shops, restaurants & Starbucks. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets.
Building was old and smelled bad in the halls. All carpets were filthy. The bathroom light made loud horrible noises when turned on. The WiFi did not work.
10 minutes from downtown Eugene this hotel was clean, had a full kitchen and was priced well. My room was outfitted with a separate water dispenser.
The facilities are being renovated but the place still felt rundown. As a woman traveling alone I would have like to seen more than just a deadbolt on the flimsy room door. The building is located next to an elevated freeway offramp. As cars exit it felt like they could see right into the room.
The hotel seems rundown and in need of repairs and in need of a face lift. Could be an exceptional property but seems like no one cares about maitainance or appearance.
Restaurant attached with exceptional staff for a late night arrival who was hungry
Remodeling isn't going to help much - plumbing in the room wasn't great, the door had a crack in it so wide I could see in from the hallway, first floor stares out into the first parked car, so no ability to air out the room by opening the window, shower was broken, bed frame squeaked.
Location was good.
Customer service was very poor, I was standing and waiting at the front counter to checking in for more than 10 minutes while the 2 employees were talking to each other, same thing happened when i was checking out. I was also giving a room with no working air conditioning, I had to go back and get moved to another room. The bedding look like some one had just finish using it.
nice friendly staff, plenty of towels in the room. nice ammenities, nice refreshing pool.
lobby and hallways were dirty and in the middle of a renovation which was not told to us when we booked. stairs were old and rickety. had water cooler in room but no other room did, and no info on why there was one. no water pressure in the shower. no info in the room about the area or the hotel like how late the pool is open or when the continental breakfast is. bed was extremely hard, and could not sleep that well.
Run down place, too expensive for what we got.
Everything, I stayed 10 minutes and checked out. I should have guessed when I noticed that the Shiloh sign had been badly painted out and the reception area looked like it came straight out of a bad movie. One look at the room convinced my daughter and I that we needed to find something that looked like the pictures on the website and not a bad representation as this one was. Booking.com you need to attend to this.
Even though the hotel was under improvements, everything in the room itself was clean & very nice. The staff in checking in were very accommodating especially when there was a mix up in our booking. They also helped us get adjoining rooms. Overall it was a great stay
The pool was empty under renovation.
The service was excellent also the employees at the front desk were very courteous and made us feel welcome. Also, the breakfast was great we loved the variety and quality of food that was provided. I love this hotel and will stay again when I visit Eugene!
Don't go there, this place is not clean at all, and way over charged. They need to do a lot of work in remodeling the place.
easy exit from I-5 free shuttle to the airport
we waited almost an hour from 9:10 pm until 10:00 pm before our ride arrived ,not to mention the driver did not even get out of the car to help us with our luggage did not say a word to us.
Location was perfect, near the U of O. Staff was friendly, breakfast area was clean and kept well stocked. Overall giid value for what we paid.
The room had an odor upon entering, needed to spray air freshener throughout the room quite often. Doors utilized old fashioned keys. Breakfast was okay, fruit was soft, maybe add in some boiled eggs?
Location and price. The beds were very comfortable.
Outdated....dumpy...dirty...toilet seat was squishy.
Location near the Interstate.
Dirty and the building smelled musty.
Value for overnight rest was great. Wi fi was great to have too.
Hotel in general needs some updating
The staff was great !Location great! Rate was great!
Bathrm walls very dirty, shower curtain gross. dirty behind furniture, walls need to be painted and overall it just needs to be updated! Staff should be wearing uniforms, housekeeping scrubs.
Price and location
Aging of facility
Yikes! I've seen run-down but I've never seen it quite like this... There were 3 of us in the room and we had 6 towels for us. I thought that seemed reasonable. We hung them up after our first night, as directed, because we wanted to save water and use them again the 2nd day. When we returned that evening, 3 of the towels were gone. I decided that I would call the next morning since I had to get up early and maybe they were running an evening towel laundering. The next morning, when I requested 3 additional towels, they were able to come up with 1. The complimentary breakfast was awful. I know that Shilo's were a big thing about 25 years ago but they have really hit rockbottom at this location. Unless you are absolutely strapped for cash, you would be better off staying at one of the newer hotels in the area.
