The location and the view can't be beat!
Too bad there isn't a full service restaurant on premises.
Staff was very friendly. Happy hour and light dinner foods were offered. Breakfast had more than we expected. Pet friendly!
Rate seemed high for off-season. We paid less the night before in downtown Seattle for same set up.
staff got us breakfast because we had an early ferry to catch
the curtains did not block the light form the hall through the window.
We loved the friendliness of the check-in. Loved that it was very peaceful, great parking, quiet, VERY CLEAN, wonderful breakfast in a lovely breakfast room, and all staff we encountered were super friendly. Like that pets are welcome here,(next time might bring one), and the view is amazing.
Beautiful view and attentive staff. Great breakfast
Room got to hot
Service was responsive to our needs.
A few miles to anything worthwhile to see. Not within walking distance for sure, but wasn't bad in a car...
Very nice and clean, good value (I stayed mid week in January). Friendly staff & decent continental breakfast. Breakfast room has a gas stove-nice touch! Rooms have pretty nice views, and if you are on the ground floor you can walk outside in a lawn and garden area. I would stay again.
Would be nice to have coat hooks on the wall....and a higher shower head! I'm only 5'8".
I loved looking out the window to see the water and ferries arriving. I would have loved to sit outside on the private patio if it was a warmer month than January. I'd like to come back. I arrived in the dark and the stars were amazing. The entrance was very well lit down the driveway making it easy to find the hotel.
I could hear someone snoring in the next room.
The view of the ferry was nice.
Paper cups in the room really? Not very classy. More of a motel style. Not a great bang for my buck.
The inn is conveniently located for ferry access and a short drive to town. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The view was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. The patio would be an awesome place to relax in the warmer months. Great spot to stay while visiting the San Juan Islands and exploring Deception Pass.
The breakfast was a little underwhelming, but pretty standard for most hotels. The food at the bistro was a little pricey, but it was nice to have an option besides running back to town. The room was very quiet until the people upstairs woke up. We could hear doors opening, footsteps and water running, but luckily, they weren't early risers!
Stepping out on the mini-deck early M and seeing the ferry coming in. Very helpful front desk - printed map to local restaurants. Breakfast room with view and LOCAL paper!
Breakfast ok, more fruit choices would be great.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
The only reason we're not giving high marks across the board is because the breakfast didn't have many choices. It would've been nice to have a choice of non-fat milk, and to have yogurt.
Everything was fabulous
Parking next to room, view of ferry landing, clean bath room, fireplace heat and staff was first class.Breakfast was way better then most others and included in room rate. Outstanding room for eating with great view and warm fire. Best food prep I've seen.
Shower curtain was missing.
The view from the window looking out to the ferry docs and water was really nice and relaxing. Real laid back feeling. Dual shower and spa tub was great. Nice room set-up.
Within walking/driving distance of the ferry. Gorgeous waterfront scenery Friendly staff
Limited menu Needs a lounge/pub Room is very small
The location, the view of the harbor, the people, the decor, their happy hour and dinner...everything was perfect. Will be back!
That I couldn't stay longer
Beds were comfy, area was quiet. Hotel was clean and smelled fresh. Grounds and exterior very nice. Keurig coffee maker in room is a nice touch. Espresso room delivery was a nice touch (at an extra cost.)
No in-room chair. A little dated inside. Shower scalded us each time another guest flushed the toilet. Odd to have paper coffee cups rather than ceramic cups offered at this hotel.
Clean, quiet and easy check in.
We had to be in the ferry line up by 7am so we missed continental breakfast..as it isn't available until 7am.
Really nice place with excellent location
Close to where I needed to be
Wrong key in drop box, being told to try 2nd drop box, but wrong code, had to wait for the manager to turn up and give us the correct key. Room was supposed to be heated, set at 50 degrees, bloody cold!
Loved it. Gorgeous room. Great staff at check in.
Ordered room coffee. Never came. Check out staff not sharp.
Great location, great staff and grounds. Liked it that we could get something to eat since we has come in late and didn't stop for dinner. Would come back...overall it was very nice.
The room could use some updates, the front door creaked terribly and the fact that someone could see into the room, straight to the bed because of the curtain over the sliding glass doors was a problem for me. Was also a little disappointed that even though there were lots of staff in the lobby when I was checking out...including manager/owner...no one asked me if I enjoyed my stay.
