Room was clean, shower was amazing! Super close to nauset beach, staff was courteous and outgoing.
Hard to connect to wifi.
Excellent location. Great friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. Would stay again for sure
Historic inn on Old Beach Road just up from Nauset Beach; sunrise over the Atlantic shined right in our room window (spectacular!); large, beautiful, lovingly-maintained gardens; fabulous homemade breakfast; and the patio fire-pit -where guests can gather at the end of the day & share their travels.
Nice character building. Good location on Cape Cod
Best vacation in years! Innkeepers Peter and Denise go above and beyond to make sure your stay exceeds all expectations. Breakfast is delightful - never a typical eggs & bacon - healthy, yummy - and plenty of it! Gas fire pit is wonderful to relax around and share your day with other guests at the end of the day. Room was spacious, bed super comfy.
It is so close to the beach that we just walked every day! Plus, you can't ask for a nicer staff. All around great experience.
The owner-hosts made my stay a superb respite due to their graciousness and services. The "continental" breakfast buffet was extraordinary in its offerings of freshly baked goods and healthy fruit dishes. Nearness to Nauset beach and the available beach-ware were added pluses. An inn to return to. RP
Very clean and breakfast was plentiful and very creative - They also had all beach accessories available for use We would certainly return again.
The location not only in relation to the beach, but also to Provincetown and the ports to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
The rooms were charming but small. The AC units were a little too loud for my husband, but he is sensitive to sound.
We loved the decor and cleanliness of our room 18..along with the comfortable bed . The sitting area, fire pit and pool area was great. Breakfast was amazing both days ! Having chairs and boogie boards was a nice touch!
There was nothing of note other than the cable TV did not have movie channels and On Demand
Absolutely amazing, the couple that runs the place is so nice and helpful and we couldn't ask for a better experience, thank you so much for making our weekend so relaxing and fun!!
The wifi is a little funny in the rooms but to be honest there is so much to do that the internet isn't really needed!
Nice atmosphere Walking distance to beach The pool Good breakfast Ideal location to explore the Island The wildlife on the coast (seals, whales)
Parking near a beach is expensive or not allowed on Cape Cod Rooms are compact
Loved the staff! Very knowledgable about the area, and very nice. The food was creative , inventive and tasty! I could spend the whole summer there!
The Inn Keepers were very nice and helpful. The location to the beach was perfect and the pool onsite was clean and refreshing after a day at the beach.
Needs some updating of the bathroom but very clean.
Staff, owner's hospitality, breakfast, convenience and clesnliness. Lovely setting
Nice, quiet and very convenient to not only the beach, but the rest of Cape Cod. The town of Orleans is avery quaint and friendly place.
The place is beautiful and very charming. The breakfasts were delicious. Good location, only 6 min. Walk to the beach.
I was under the impression when I booked, that we were going to get a private patio but the patio was a shared one. That didn't turn out to be a problem. It was very spacious and very close to our room.
the owners--the breakfast buffet-- the solitude of the place--the other customers ,etc.---very pleasant stay!!!
Loved the quaintness and comfort of this Inn. Enjoyed breakfast on the patio and the beauty of the area.
Distance from the beach was not a quick and easy walk. Didn't like the car/parking fee if you chose to drive down...
Tranquil and very charming setting, perfectly situated only 5 min walk from Nauset beach. The grounds are beautiful, we especially loved the firepit in the yard, nice to have breakfast or late night glass of wine by the fire. Breakfast is light, but beautifully presented and fresh. Very friendly staff. Our petite queen room was pretty small, but had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the ceiling mounted "body dryer" in the bathroom. Cape Cod charm!
Wi-fi signal is a bit iffy.
-Friendly staff -the boat like house experience is interesting -Good price -Clean
-The low ceiling: can hit your head any where you move -Swimming pool was covered (did not know that from the website) -The fire place is shut too early. they shut it down at 8pm. I was thinking it would be a late night experience
The Inn and every room is comfortable with just the magic touch! The area surrounding it is beautifully landscaped. The owner's are an absolute pleasure. The Ship's Knees is our Cape Cod sanctuary!
Warm welcome, also excellent breakfast. Close to the beach.
Room a little small
- Garden & house decoration
Breakfast is very continental & simple
Short walk to Nauset beach. Clean, functional room with interesting decor, albeit on a small side. Pleasant staff. Nicely laid out grounds, lovely gas firepit to sit around on a chilly evening.
Wifi connection spotty and slow. Hot water requiring a few minutes to reach the room. Relatively early checkout. Breakfast offering could use a bit more variety.
