Shore Hotel    

nice pleasant staff, good location, nice sized rooms, comfortable

no internet access in room (AT&T),makes it difficult to do business, take phone calls,etc. Tried other rooms to no avail, only worked in lobby and it's difficult to make business calls in the middle of the lobby.

The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't order new movies like in most luxury hotels. I think adding that would be a big plus! And maybe a sheet that also lists the places that do room service delivery.

The outside jacuzzi

No breakfast provided for. Small desk with cofeee and cakes in the hall, at incredible high prices. Staff formally, but not genuinely, nice. Artificial atmosphere, you do not feel welcome. Overall overpriced.

The super location, the rooms, the view.

They were very accommodating to us, they let us use the pool because we arrived early and then were able to get us into our room in record time. Awesome service! The glass of champagne at check-in was also a nice touch.

Modern, stylish, friendly, convenient.

I could not sleep w/ open window because of street noise and a voice from a street light counting down every 10 seconds from 15 to 1. Make sure you get a room in the right wing of the building.

No food and fridge didn't work.

Shower (loved the shower head and the pressure of the water)

confusion with the elevator-why can't we just hit a floor number and get there that way instead of swiping our card against the electronic device above the floor numbers)

The color-scheme in the room, furniture included. The chair in my ocean view king bed room went perfect with the drapes.

I didn't like waiting so long to check-in behind an english family of 5. It seemed unnaturally long and inflamed my temper enough to become short with the female concierge, even for a family's check-in.

Nice place to stay. Well located in Santa Monica and a good place to stay if you have your own car and you're planning to visit L.A., Holliwood, Malibu, Venice beach... Wifi is free.

Staff were friendly, hotel was clean. Location was good

There are no restaurants in the hotel. No room service as you have to order from outside restaurants. There was no bar or coffee facilities. It basically provides a room.

Location is great.....

Availability of food in the hotel. Rolls and coffee cost money in the morning. Snacks at poolside would be very nice if you have a paid bar.

Proximity to beach and shopping

the picture taking by Kohl's or whoever was doing the photo shoot. They took over the lobby and the pool area the whole three days we were there.

Good location friendly staff

No breakfast included For the rentals one did not feel good to pay three dollars for a banana. The pool was bang on the highway lacked privacy could not relax.

The view was wonderful! We were upgraded to a beachview room. The staff was outstanding. The location was great! The shower, the pillows, the bed, the robe.........awesome!

There needs to be a stool or something in the shower.

In the middle of town next to the pier and shopping.

When we arrived the "kidnapping of the car" was weird. I would have liked to check in without being rushed out of our car. Maybe arriving at 5:30 pm had a lot to do with that. The valet needs to communicate a little better to us non-LA people.

there wasn't tea available in the room. hot herbal, black or green.

Check - in policy only at 4 pm!! and check-out at 11am?? No breakfast option Rather loud and noisy, you can hear everything from the floor. All in all overpriced for what it is.

We (this is the wife writing) loved the location and our room overlooking the ocean. Beds were very comfortable. A lovely pool, which unfortunately we couldn't use because of weather.

This hotel needs a real coffee shop that offers. Complimentary coffee in lobby would help. It's just too nice a venue not to offer a classier breakfast.

valet should have been closer to front, but i understand the parking in Santa Monica.....would have liked a better greeting upon entering

Great location! Staff is very friendly and informative. Loved the room, especially the glass enclosed shower.

Location was #1, rooms were crisp and clean modern design. Free wifi, plenty of outlets for electronics. Pool and spa area was clean and well equipped.

Every thing was very good and nothing was bad
