Shoreham Hotel  

The hotel was well located and the room and bathroom appeared to be clean...

The room was most inadequately furnished.. No drawer space exceopt 3 small desk drawers, only 1 bedside table, no notepaper or pen. Bathroom tiny, narrow vanity shelf, miniscule sink, no towel racks or hooks. Never received full towel sets. Water temperature almost impossible to control - cold or scalding. Carpeting had burn marks

They was not help for about my request about changeling by dates of stay or would not let me check out a day earlier I was given the run around between booking now and the hotel about change my date of travel. Then when I ask about a roll out bed they told me they was all being used. The when talking to hotel bartender she told me they don't even have roll away bed. Over all just not very help for stag to insurer stay was good

Location, the front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

First time in my life I got a room without towels. Apparently there was a traffic hold-up and the linen delivery truck was late. The carpets in the hallways and public areas show signs of wear.

Room got a bit hot one night and couldn't find instructions on working the Air Con - overall was happy with the hotel

The decor is unique, the room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely TVs and Bose Radios.

Fortunately all the shades were down as the view of brick walls and courtyards was quite depressing. The staff was very friendly, but we had to wait quite a while for our room, tho we arrived after 4 pm.

This hotel is well located for multiple subway stops, theater, symphony, museums and the park. It is immaculate, which I always appreciate. Staff are pleasant and attentive.

Our room was a bit bare; it would have seemed more welcoming with a chair in the empty space, a side lamp next to the couch, and drapes rather than just shades - maybe something on the walls? We were unknowingly upgraded and then charged for it - would have declined if asked. The breakfast area was not very comfortable; although it was pleasantly bright with large windows.

Enjoyed my stay at the shoreham the room was huge & the bed was comfortable. Would def stay here again. Read bad reviews about the staff but everyone I encountered was friendly & helpful

I liked the location, it's 55th street between 5th and 6th. Its the business center around, great shopping area on 5th and Madison. Free wifi..

The room is not too big but that is not really big problem. The really problem is the dust in the room, the window, the carpet, the sofa is really dirty. Expired chocolate in the bar, uncomfortable small bed what you get if you go there. I feel like it was a 3 star hotel. There is a bar on the first floor what is really expensive, I paid 15 dollars plus tip for one jack daniels and coke. The last thing I do not like and really make me mad that I booked the room for 6 days for 1.250 dollars and what I paid is 1.800 dollars.

Location is perfect. Hotel bar and restaurant. Modern boutique design. Excellent porter service.

Not comfortable for more than an overnite stay. Rooms painfully small. Housekeeping does not replenish bathroom amenities after check in day. Sheets were worse than hospital sheets most days.Towels very worn and seemingly in short supply. Most days you will receive 1 worn bath towel, some days no towels; hand towels, wash cloths, & bath mats appear to depend on hotel occupancy rate.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I also like that the hotel wasn't too big.

Attention to detail poor ( missing shampoo and bath mat on arrival, mini bar not replenished) View from 9th floor room was terrible.

The rooms were large and well equipped . The staff was really nice and the breakfast excellent. The location could not be better

Service by staff, especially when they learned that one of our suitcases was missing at the airport. Perfect location. Good hotel / good rooms, real value for money

The location was excellent. All staff members were helpful and pleasant.

We had some trouble with the heating system but the staff worked with us to get it right. There could be more storage space (no dresser and a small closet).

Staff were extremely helpfull. The hotel is very centrally situated in Manhatten. The rooms are big and well furnished.

Most of the staff at front desk were rude and not very helpful, with the exception on one person. Heater in the room annoying and very noisy when switching on/off automatically. Lifts were small and cramped. Was not offered assistance with luggage to the rooms.

The staff was very helpful and polite. Beds were very comfortable. Decor was modern and sleek. Unbelievable location. Close to Central Park, Rockefeller center and right off 5 ave for shopping
