Loved the simplicity of the Shoreham. Perfect location to literally everything! Super friendly front desk, doormen, clean rooms, nice bathroom products, great showers...... Would definitely stay again!
I liked the location close to everything, very cute and clean
have to pay for wifi and also no cups or ice bucket in rooms and no ice machines
Best coffee machine ever.
Fifteen dollars a day per device for wi-fi is outrageous. Beds are a bit too soft.
* Great location * Clean room * Big room (considering it's a manhattan hotel) * Comfortable bed * Friendly staff * Free coffee
* AC sound
Quite Between 5th and TS
Dark floors and rooms Loud A/C Carpet is old and ugly
Tiny bathroom, not at all suitable for 2 people. Very low sieling. Noisy a/c. Hotel charges WLAN for EACH device!!!! Bad coffee for breakfast.
Not much noise from the street. good location for the things we wanted to see and do. Friendly and helpful staff
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Coffee available in the lobby each morning which caused long queues at busy times.
Loved the location. Room was clean and staff friendly and helpful.
good bed great location
why not free wifi, 15 dollars just too much and per device!
Reception staff were excellent. Location of hotel.
Our room had a huge lounge area, which was never used, but the bathroom is very small. The noise from outside the hotel made sleeping a problem,it was as if a window was open, but it wasn't. Free wi-fi is only in lobby, you have to pay in rooms.
Good boutique hotel, friendly staff, good location in Midtown.
Having a free wifi was great.
The location is the best in the city for me. the room size is better than most hotels in this price category. Everything worked in the room as far as the shower, sink, and lights. Good bed and linens
Lousy ironing board. I have to dress up everyday and the small, legless board was difficult to use and wasted a lot of time.
Went for my twenty-fifth birthday and this was an awesome hotel choice for us. It was in a wonderful location, it wasn't difficult to get around and we really enjoyed the space.
The only issue we had was that the room did get a little warm at night, and the unit in the room was on high.
Accessible to important points of interest; MOMA one block, C Park 3, best stores and restaurants at the corner....
Not a nice view and light from the room
Very good location, very close to good places such as Central Park. Helpful staff. Clean and well-decorated rooms.
Internet is only free in the lobby and everybody was in the lobby trying to check their e-mail or just surfing. I think this is not a good way of customer satisfaction in such a technology age we are living in.
Staff in Reception Location
Seats in public areas at 35cms are too low for most people. Bar staff need training, one we spoke to was not aware that cognac and brandy are the 'same' Light switches in room are confusing
The staff was very friendly
The first room was very noising, but they accept to change us the room.
The hotel was very comfortable. The position of the hotel was great for business and sightseeing. Staff were very accommodating.
Superb location . Four blocks south of Central Park. Felt safe to be out late at night. Room was clean & well maintained . Staff were always polite & helpful.
Our bathroom couldn't be closed as the catch was broken. The shower head would only operate at full force. Which wastes a lot of water. Not a good look for a hotel seems to push an enviromental message.
Great location and the staff members are great.
One of the air conditioning units was broken. There was no door to the bedroom in the suite. A mini refrigerator would have been nice.
The location is great - near Central Park, 5th Abenue, Rockefeller Center.
It was very noisy in our room (junior suite), because of a very loud and ineffective air condition. That means: sometimes it was too hot to sleep, and always to loud. We told this the staff, but nothing really happened. The Rom was used up.
Staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. Small fitness facility and business area were helpful. Location is excellent for my business/personal needs.
My non-smoking room (hotel is non-smoking) smelled of smoke when I checked in. The staff responded immediately and literally cleared the air while I was out that afternoon. I booked a suite because I needed to work a good bit from the room and it was not much more expensive; however, while the rooms were large, the bathroom was a joke. I have never seen such a small, uncomfortable bathroom in a hotel, even in NYC. finishings in room looked worn and dirty. Finally, their internet charges are ridiculous -- $12.95 per day PER DEVICE. Fortunately, I have a portable device, but as wireless access is sometimes sketchy in the city, I typically cannot use it. In the case, though, it was my only option.
Nice comfy room and bed
Perspex above bed not screwed in properly
The location is perfect to get to all the sights. The rooms were modern. I stayed in the Junior suite and then penthouse 10 the junior suite was was a great size especially for NY as hotel rooms tend to be tiny. The PH10 was massive with a huge balcony. the staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms over looking lightwells are quieter
The aircon in the junior suite was a little noisy but still managed to sleep. The Jacuzzi bath in the Junior suite didn't work (was then upgraded to PH10) could do with some new furniture in the rooms but all in not that bad.
