Everything was great.
There Is absolutely no view from the lower floors. We woke up at 6am because of the song food smell coming from the street. After that it was impossible to stay in the room. poor housekeeping. Rooms are not thoroughly cleaned.
Position , pool at top and fast lifts. Great little restaurant attached and very helpful desk staff. Great shower and room very quiet.
All good no negatives from us only thing the room a little small but that suited as fine.
I very much liked my stay at Shoreline Waikiki.Very friendly hotel staff, Alex of the Valet parking and Stella at the front desk. Quick response when calling front desk to bring out car, never had to wait. Location in the middle of Waikiki is great. Rooms very clean and well kept. Nice little balcony to sit on.
Swimming pool at the roof a disappointing. Very small and environment mediocre. Extra cushions on the chairs, a color on the surrounding walls and/or some plants in the small area would be nice to give it a more friendly atmosphere. If you are sensitive to smells, then a room facing west is not such a good idea. Cooking smells (garlic) in the morning and evening (roasted barbeque etc.). At that times I had to close my balcony door. It didn't bother me too much though.
Room was not big but was cosy, well designed, with everything handy. Quiet as well.
Friendly and helpful staff, free coffee / tea, cucumber water and iced tea in the lobby all day long (even a bowl of free apples early in the morning). Each room has a small balcony as well. The location is simply perfect! Close to the beach, restaurants and all the shopping in Waikiki. Free beach towel service and even umbrellas (for those occasional tropical showers).
If you booked your room at the super low rate on Booking.com you will ended up in second floor, wall / parking lot / alley facing room. If you hope for any kind of view, you will have none... But it is Hawaii and so you will most likely be there only to sleep anyway. The housekeeping is spotty, we had to ask for better clean up though reception on second day. Tiny rooftop swimming pool...
We loved this small hotel's lively, modern look and feel, helpful staff (rescuing an errant earring down the bathroom drain) and great location,
Was a beautiful hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the location was so central.
Location fine, free wifi, staffs helpful.
We booked this hotel a month ahead at relatively low price, but that doesn't mean we should be given the worst room, 2nd floor no balcony by street very noisy at night. Roofpool very small. Parking 28$ a day.
Friendly staff. Close to the beach and Royal Hawaian Center. Bus stop 100 meters from the hotel.
Not able to change from queen room to double bed room. View from one side of the hotel not very pleasand.
comfortable bed and pleasant staff
noise from elevator and no view even from high floor. pool closed at night at 7:00
All staff very helpful and very friendly. Good location.
Everything was good and beds comfortable but I couldn't find a pillow i was happy with.
Small room. Charged for second cup of coffee. Parking charge too high.
Location was great. It has a good vibe and a modern style, something other hotels in Hawaii should learn.
A bit expensive, but it was the best value for what Honolulu has on offer.
Complimentary drinks available in lobby was a nice touch
Roof top pool could do with a make over
Location is wonderful.
Wifi is unstable. Room is a little small.
It takes 10 seconds to walk down to the Kalakaua Avenue, so good location, would have been excellent if it were on the beach. It takes 5-6 mins away from the Waikiki Beach though. Very nice staff, very modern interior decor.
they don't have a parking lot so you have to park in the parking across the street for $24/day and they don't accept credit cards, so we ended up spending a good amount of our cash for parking. And you also have to renew your daily permit every day. And it could be the first time ever that i did not see any breakfast at a hotel, even a bad one. Also our room was on the 4th floor, and you do not want that view so make sure you request an upper level room.
Like: Location, price, staff
Dislike: room little small but expected
The Iced Pineapple Tea in the lobby... took it at every opportunity ! Staff were brilliant and could not help more. Arrived on an early flight to be met with every effort to sort an early check-in...and they pulled us an 'upgraded' room and was asleep by 9am ! Rooms were of average size, but very clean and tidy. Shower head was a fav too ! Location was a big plus. Only 30 seconds walk off the main drag, but located centrally along Waikiki, so everything was literally less than a 5 min walk. The associated restaurant was a hit too (possibly a little $$), but food was organic, local and fresh. For a great eat, the street behind has a small eatery named 'Sam's'...they do a delicious Garlic Shrimp. Markets are a 30 sec walk from the lobby and transport (bus) is at the end of the street (60 seconds away). Definitely a gem of a place at a fraction of the price. Would definitely stay again !!
Don't select this hotel if your expecting a view of anything more than adjacent buildings. We were not interested in views and hence selected a standard King room with 'city skyline views'. Was upgraded to 'partial ocean views' which equated to being able to see a patch of blue in between the Royal Hawaiian and Sheraton Hotels (only if you stood on your right leg, hard up against the glass door)
No Real Parking options. It'd be nice if the hotel helped out a little more with this.
Super friendly staff! Love the Pineapple ice tea at reception! Staff Karin and Zhi very helpful! Thank you!
Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff! Room was spacious, huge bed!
House keeping could have been timed better, had to chase them up a few times!
Great service, excellent location, exceeded expectations eg. complimentary tea, coffee, water and iced tea in reception along with the odd free apple if you are up early enough to get one. Couldn't fault it.
That I wasn't able to stay longer. So sad.
