The location is excellent - couple of minutes away from the beach, staff is very friendly and helpful
The room was a bit small
We were only there overnight as we transmitted through Honolulu but what we experienced was fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which was all we were interested in really as we were tired after a long flight.
The bathroom was quite small.
Location Beach Coffee and Tea welcome Little treats like a juicy apple and cold drink Close to busses and DFO Galleria Great directions from desk staff
View was ordinary but who needs a view from the hotel Pool was very small and hard to get to up the stairs by the air conditioning unit Kept knocking into the wooden bed base
Clean, tidy and much nicer than others I've stayed at. A nice room an little hotel. Great staff and central location.
Tiling in bathroom isn't that nice and lets down the rest of the experience.
the location is excellent, very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. very friendly staff blackboard with daily updated news, interesting things, local food, hawaian words...
Balcony is a joke and the city view also....
Quiet room on upper floor, nice view on ocean side. Try 13th or 14th floor Tasty, refreshing cold and hot beverages in the lobby. Helpful Staff at front desk. Off the main Waikiki crowded strip Fridge and microwave in room
WiFi a little slow in room No onsite restaurant (under construction during our stay) plenty of restaurants within one block though, so not a big deal. Pool area needs a little decor(Plants, little tables)
The hotel is clean and modern, our king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. Good location, while not on Waikiki beach, it's only a 5 min walk away. It's also very close to the action (restaurants, bars, other hotels, shopping.) After reading other reviews about construction going on nearby, we requested a room on a higher floor to be away from the noise, and I'm happy to say that they honoured our request.
The amenities weren't that great - the restaurant/bar attached to the hotel is under construction, and the pool on the roof is small. Even though there was complimentary iced tea and flavoured water in the lobby every day, it would have been nice if they offered other drinks to make up for the fact that the hotel bar is being renovated. Also, our cleaning person left the door to our room open one day, luckily there was a safe in the room where we kept our valuables. When I told the people at reception, they were surprised and expressed serious concern, but they didn't do much to compensate for this huge lapse.
Little details about the hotel in the room, main lobby etc. Location was perfect...just off the main Waikiki strip so that you're away from the noise but still seconds away from the action Customer service was excellent..obviously a great culture developed by the hotel
Nothing...both of us loved it
- Exelent location in middle of Waikiki. - - Short distance to beach, only 5 min slow walking. - Friendly staff - Complimentary drinks in lobby - Rooms have enough space We didn't hear any extra noises from the street. This hotel is middle of Waikiki so there can be some traffic noise but this is normal in any place. Rooms were clean and big. I would stay here again.
Value for money this hotel has the basics to make a short stay enjoyable. The bathroom was nice and big and the hotel staff were always pleasant and helpful. The hotel is not too close and not too far from the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki strip which meant that you could enjoy both water and shopping without having too walk to far but not needing to share it with all the tourists!
My room didn't have a fridge and being a solo traveller I didn't want to spend every night eating out or having to buy and buy and buy. Also the restaurant is undergoing a renovation which would have been nice to have known before booking. For me personally I love nothing more than being able to eat or have the option to eat at my hotel or ordering room service after a big day out in the sun but unfortunately it was always a walk to the abc stores or trying to find somewhere to eat, don't get me wrong there's plenty of places around, is just not for the lazy ;)
Staff, Cleanliness of Hotel Lobby & Rooms, Central to all of Waikiki
Nothing bad to say. If I didnt run out of money from shopping so much I would have luved to have stayed longer
The hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The beds are large and comfortable - even the sofa bed!
There is nothing not to like about this hotel.
Location is perfect.... But too expensive for the quality of hotel .... Has no bar no breakfast .... Parking is 28$ a day ..... Rooms are good size and pretty clean and comfy but .... Nothing else .... If you don't have better options ..... I would recommend it ....
The Location of the Hotel is Excellent everything is nearby
The Hotel smelled a little dirty in the hallways it smelled like if the carpet had not been cleaned for a long time cleaningness of room was good but not hallways
It is very considerate. It provides tea, fruit and even microwave oven. The room is clean.
The room is very small and a little far from the beach
location and staff were excellent. was very modern (for waikiki) and our room was big enough for 2 of us - i dont think we needed any more room. good value and great free wifi too
bit of a dodgy view next door (not their fault) small lanai, would have been nice to have a bigger outdoor area for wine time!
The location was bang in the middle of Waikiki, the touristic center of Honolulu. The WiFi was assigned for every room, so it worked with no hassle . The staff were friendly and helpful. The price, in compare with the offered services and location and quality was reasonable, comparing with the similar hotels in the area.
Basically nothing to complain about!
- Wifi was GREAT! Every room had its own wifi network with own password. It was for free, worked all the time and was fast. - Very good service, we could always get towels towards the beach; they arranged the taxi for us to the airport and it was no problem to leave the luggage stored and refresh ourselves at the end of the day when we had een late flight. Also good service that you can check in and print your boardingpasses for flying for free in de lobby.
The mattress was soo soft that I had back and neck problems the whole holiday long. Even though we were on a high floor, and the doors from the balcony were closed, you could still here so much noise from the streets! It was as if the windows were wide open, when someone was talking outside you could here everything (and there was alot more noise than just talking). So I would suggest some better isolation of the windows.
Some staff are not friendly
All was awesome
AMAZING! This hotel really made Hawaii possible for us this year. Great hotel- FANTASTIC location! Right in the heart of the action at Waikiki Beach. Cannot wait to come back to this amazing hotel! Thank you again Shoreline Waikiki!
Perfect position. Close to everything....shops, restaurants, beach etc. Squeaky clean. Good security. Excellent value for money.
could do with extra space/rack for second suitcase, otherwise perfect .
The staff are really nice, very friendly and helpful. The location was very central to everything.
Use to having coffee and tea provided for duration of stay at no extra cost, at shoreline we were only provided with 2 of each and the had to pay for any additional even though we were there for 4 nights, they provided these facilities downstairs in foyer, but it isn't the same as having in your room like majority of hotels,,,, nothing nicer than being able to wake and make your coffee in your room without the additional cost of $2.00 each cup, we could have gone to most local cafés and paid $2.00 and got never ending cups of coffee. No food facilities on premises other than vending machines.
Great central location, attractive lobby with complimentary tea, coffee and cold drinks (iced tea, pink lemonade and water infused with cucumber, lemon and mint) available to help yourself. Room was comfortable with fridge and microwave installed.
The room was noisy, with a large construction site about a block down the road. Also seems to be a lot of trucks reversing with loud beeping indicators around the early morning hours. Not a lot of privacy- you need to keep curtains closed as you are looking straight in to the next door apartment block.
