the staff were fantastic and very helpful. the hotel is around a ten minute walk from the beach and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby
Attentive staff and helpful especially Mona. City center location.
Nothing at all.
Room pretty good - would liked to have had a higher level in the building. Short walk to most things - beach, food, shopping. Lots of trolleys to take you sightseeing or to a specific location.
The room I was given as an 'updgrade'. Turns out it was a bit larger than their other rooms - apparently - but lousy location on second floor next to elevator and looking out onto busy street and directly above hotel lobby entrance so very noise and too much light all night.
Generally clean, only some hairs in the toilet and the bath tub is a bit blocked. Shampoo and conditioner are provided, but no shower gel only with a bar of soap.
The hotel is located in the city centre, extremely convenient with shops surrounded by, only 5 mins from Waikiki beach
Room was tiny and dark. No space. Had a microwave but no cutlery or plates. Only 2 coffee pods for the whole week long stay.
Location is great. Convenient to everything. Bed was soo comfortable. Staff were great, friendly and helpful.
Loved the refressing drinks available in the lobby, the location of the hotel is fantastic and staff was very friendly too, although I had to leave early morning at 4am and the stuff there was not very helpful, but the ones at regular times are very nice.
rooms was a little small and the view was mediocore.
staff was great, convient location for both shopping and getting to the beach.
only provide 2 small bottle of water per stay , even we stay 5 nite.
Room - Little tiny vs expectations. Once luggage is factored in little inconvenient. Bed - OK at best.
Staff - super helpful people. It's them who make this simple hotel a pleasure to stay at. Location - Very close to Waikiki beach.
No bad experience at all!
All personnel that worked there were friendly and helpful. Anything you asked would be done as soon as it could. The room I had was great, could see the sea and was kept throughout my stay. The best thing thing is the location, minutes walk to the beach and you pay half the price than you would staying on the Main Strip.
Value for money
Busy road outside.
The location is close to all Waikiki has to offer.
The staff were very friendly and the hotel had a nice calm ambience. We spent much more on another Waikiki hotel earlier in our holiday but this hotel was far better value for money.
Quiet room, close to activities, pleasant staff and close to bus routes to Honolulu attractions. Good organic restaurant open for three meals next door.
the price and the old look of the hotel... it would really need a revamp
the location and the nice staff that upgraded me!
Bed, no view on a paid for view room. Charge for coffee
good location.friendly stuffs. Clean room. Shopping areas
Didn't have quite the amenities that I wanted for my honeymoon but it is a boutique hotel and my wife enjoyed it so it turned out great.
Friendly professional staff. Location was excellent close to kalakaua and kuhio wife and I were able to walk everywhere. Pool was small but cozy it also had a great view of just about everything.
- The housekeeping was really slow. The room was never made before 3.30/4 p.m
- The front desk staff was really nice, extremely helpful - The location was perfect even if you don't have any see view...
The pool was very noisy being on the roof near vents
The rooftop pool seemed like an afterthought, and was not heated or open at night. Given the space to work with, I'm not cut up about it, but investing a bit in that area would be icing on the cake.
The place was immaculately presented, the staff were helpful and professional, and the free Wi-Fi was fast and easy to connect to.
How did this hotel get a four star rating? From my perspective, it was a three. The only thing going for it is the location. Arriving to the lobby from the car via the back entrance was very unsettling - not a great start to our stay. The entrance to the bathroom, very narrow, was ridiculous. The pool is very inadequate - four chairs and no shade. I would not stay there again.
Very limited parking space. After it's full, you can't use the valet, but need to park yourself in the building on the other side of the street.
- Centrally located - Not on the shore, but very short walk to Waikiki beach. - Many stores and restaurants nearby. - Staff were always very nice and helpful. - Good value for money in expensive Honolulu.
