Great beds and perfect bathrooms
4:00 Pm check in is to late
- noisy room (very unpleasant sound on the bathroom, poor isolation to sounds coming from outside) - impossibility to use the pool at the time expected (10 to 10.15 - the swimming pool opens at 10h) - the service was not the expected one for a hotel Resort&Spa!!
Great place to stay! Facilities are amazing. Laundry room available on site, spa, pool, mini golf
Wifi was very slow
you get what you pay for. Very easy check in and out, easy access to the room
champagne afternoons, coffee mornings in lovely lounge. nicely maintained grounds, pool, large spa. Nice options for families
That I didn't have children to take advantage of miniature golf, tetherball, beanbag toss, etc
House telephone did not work. Only one chair for two people. Shorted linen one day. No Kleenex in room. No continental breakfast in a pricey hotel. Room was not ready at 4 pm check in time.
We had a good deal and got upgraded to a fireplace room, which was fantastic We loved the mini golf and the swimming pool (although a bit small for the size of the hotel)
Staff was OK but could be a bit more friendly and smiley
An old fashioned ski lodge newly remodeled; clean and cozy. The renovations to the bathroom were exceptional...beautifully tiled floors and shower; the sink was modern and original. The king size bed was extremely comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows. Also provided was a small refrigerator, microwave, a full size dresser (for extended stay), and air conditioning unit (which I hear is a rarity in Mammoth). Would definitely stay here again.
Parking was a bit of an issue when I came back from dinner in town rather late...had to circle the property a few times to find a space not where I would have preferred to park.
Considerate personal offering welcome drink while checking in! Pool table and chess in lobby.
No elevator. Have to carry luggage 2 stairs.
Besides the great location and its rustic, "mountain cabin" ambiance, the staff at The Sierra Nevada Resort and Spa also deserves an excellent rating for friendliness, courtesy and professionalism. Two staff members in particular, Sammy in reception, and Robert who was tending in the lobby bar were especially welcoming! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.
I didn't like the fact it was time to leave!
We were very happy that it was exactly as the webb site said it was. Our young teenagers had a great time. The weather was bad but your facility and those around you kept them entertained. We made a good time out of bad weather. Improve cutomer service and we will return.
At all times the front dest employees were very rude. Not just to us, but anyone who asked a question. They responed in a very condisending way. We overheard there were coupons for the restaurant after we ate there three times. Again when we asked, it was like they were being bothered. Until your staff is trained in cutomer survice and improves, we will not return, nor would we recommend. Please let us know when that has been corrected.
the lodge was nice
the coffee was always empty and girl at front desk did not give a hoot not good
Actually , me & my wife stayed there after a day trip in Yosemite park, on the way to Vegas. The staff was nice, the rooms are big, clean, comfortable beds, nice shower.
They don't serve breakfast there, which ultimately push you to the Rafters bar, a place owned by the hotel. which weren't that cheap..
No hair dryers, no complimentary breakfast. Very basic rooms. Not worthwhile for the price we paid.
Lacking in customer service at check-in and maid service. Hotel has no AC (at least in our room). Coffee pot was not cleaned and coffee supplies were not replenished for the second of two nights.
Hotel forced us at checkout to pay additional fees above what we booked. Finally we paid 25% more than booked without having any additional value
The hotel was in a good location and was nice and clean. The pool and mini golf were great and the kids club was good for the children. The bar/restaurant Rafters was good fun. We spent an evening there and took part in a very interesting game of Bingo!
The rooms were very small for a family of 4 with 4 large suitcases. The bathroom was ok but the water didn't drain away from the shower so you ended up having a footbath by the end of the shower.
Walking distance to restaurants around.
I paid $25 for resort fee that I have never had chance to use their facilities, more like they charged me $25 for the WiFi access.
When we arrived, they were sold out of the room type we originally reserved due to third party overbooking. But they upgraded us to a suite worth twice what we paid at no additional charge. The staff was so professional and courteous. We loved our stay!
Great staff and location. Close to restaurants and mountain resorts. Room was spectacular.
Staff changed our room when we asked. Swimming pool and play area for children
The first room had no air conditioner and it was very warm in Mammoth. Second room (newly refurnished) had A/C but one of the beds was unsatisfactory. Won't stay here again
Location was good, rooms were cute and quiet (they seemed to be completely booked while we were there and we did not hear noise from surrounding rooms). The receptionist at the Spa was very friendly.
Rooms were not ready at check-in. The two drinks we were offered for our trouble seemed little compensation once we realized that all guests received two complimentary drinks. Phone in the room was completely inoperable. Shower didn't drain properly (water up to my ankles half way through). Noise from a carnival directly outside the spa led to less than relaxing massages. No parking available once we returned from dinner.
The staff was friendly and the location is close to the Yosemite National Park.
The rooms we booked didn't have air-conditioners, but we didn't know until we got there late at night when the computer broke down. It took almost an hour before we got the rooms. The rooms were a bit hot even though it was cooler outside at night time.
