Access to beach very close. View wonderful. Staff very friendly, and helpful.
lack of fresh fruit and other options for breakfast.
The hotel was right on the beach so it was nice with children and had an excellent view
The staff smoked constantly and everything smelled of smoke. I have asthma so I was very difficult. The breakfast was very poor, no fruit or anything fresh and very thing was so cheap it was disgusting. The room was dirty, sink was plugged up and the wheels fell of the chairs. The bathroom also had a very loud, whining fan and smelled horrible.
Location price excellent view staff
Located right on the bay, nice beach access with opening windows and driftwood for fires.
The "breakfast" they offer is very limited. Would like to see yogurt, fresh fruit & maybe hard boiled eggs / toast, jam and peanut butter. All we had was 3 types of cereal, milk, coffee, muffins, bagels, waffles.
The view from the 4th floor and location
The breakfast is ehhh. Went out for breakfast instead.
Loved the ocean view!! Room was clean. Morning breakfast was good.
Parking lot small hard to get in and out
Sauna jets didn't work with out assistance of staff, beds a little uncomfortable, no AC, and we were expecting a balcony attached to our room. :/
Great views lots to see
Beds a little hard
Sliding glass does not latch. When we brought this to the staff's attention, the answer was it's been like this since weather stripping was replaced, but nobody has broken in yet???
Loved the view... Also the price was decent in comparison to other nearby hotels. One of the staff members, Mira, was very friendly and helpful... She accommodated us by changing our room to one with a balcony after we discovered that our room didn't have one (booking.com indicated there was one when there wasn't).
1. Windows needed cleaning really bad. 2. The spa didn't work unless you went up to the front desk and asked them to prime the pump for you. 3. The continental breakfast was very skimpy (there was no kitchen so it was mainly cereal, waffles, biscuits etc). 4. Our sheets were never changed out.
Right on the bay. Had limited view of ocean but easy walking access to beach. Mo's restaurant, two small cafe's and a small bakery close by. Coffee and juice always available at the Lodge.
This year there were a few minor problems. One sink faucet was broken upon arrival, but was fixed later in the week. There were three of us but the maid never left enough towels and glasses. Every day we had to go down to the lobby and request more.
Location was great. Employee's were nice.
When we arrived there was no one at the desk for a good 20 minutes. She said she was upstairs helping someone. The next day we were gone from our room all day and our room was not made up at all. I called downstairs and the lady at front desk appolized and said the maid was new?? The room was cleaned the next day though. Bed alittle hard but overall a nice stay. We will be back next year
The staff were really nice. The location is beautiful and right on the beach. We were there for a wedding and we were able to just walk right over to it!
The beds were a little stiff but besides that the room was great.
We enjoyed the view and walking on the beach.
The breakfast had waffles and muffins but no fruit. We ate breakfast out.
Amazing view. Great location
Bed a little on the hard side
Really a great spot, right on the beach.
Being right on the beach, next door to Mo's, private deck and being able to see the seals from the deck each day
When we got there the screen door was laying on the deck. I went to the front desk and they assured me it would be fixed in the morning. We stayed 3 nights and it was never fixed. The floors were dirty when we arrived and the tub had hair in it. I cleaned it before using it. Housekeeping did not change our sheets while we were there and we had to take our own trash out because house keeping never emptied it. I had to go to the front desk for towels and glasses because house keeping would remove the dirty ones but not replace with clean ones. I am assuming it was just the one maid since we got the same one each day
Window crank did not work well. Bed was hard. Shower made a high pitched noise.
Not only was everything there the makings of a great vacation, but Linda and Myra were two of the most friendly and helpful desk people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Went out of their ways to help us be able to get our visit time extended and cost friendly! The really sweet cleaning lady on the 3rd floor was so friendly, also. (Forgot to get her name.) This will be our place to come, from now on!
The only problem we had was another guest family. The stomping sounds were so loud above(?) us, that we had to turn up the tv for a few hours each night so we could hear it. Lynda had offered to speak to them, but since we could not 100% prove which room for sure, we just waited till around bedtime and then it would stop! Walls and ceilings can only do so much to prevent noise. Guests just have to learn to walk normal and softly to be considerate of others.
Great view of the bay!
We loved our room and all the amenities provided for us, and we also felt welcomed. My husband loved the hot tub.
There was no indoor pool.
Could hear kids running upstairs late in the evening and early in the morning.
Location and view.
Oby one of two sinks worked, the shower makes a very loud high pitched screeching sound while running, the slider screen door was completely broken off when trying to close it. For paying 200$ for two nights.. I could have experienced a hell of a lot nicer facilities.
The staff was great and the rooms where large and clean.
The parking was cramped and traveling with my mom who is handicapped I didn't realize the spot with orange cones was a handicapped spot so we parked in a cramped spot and my mom had to go down the stairs in with her walker.
