Front desk was helpful with public transportation, suggestions, etc. Very friendly, open.
A beautiful, spacious room that felt like home.
After getting there money for the room from my credit card they still took out money for a deposit which has taken more then a week to return! I have never had a hotel do this before. When I called to complain and ask for my money back they said to wait. I will never stay at this chain again!
So close to Nob Hill, parks, everything was great fun!
Room a bit warm.
Very helpful front desk. Location
Location, comfort, parking.
Breakfast just OK.
Close to everything including dinning and shopping. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Always willing to help.
Easy location for driving in to Portland, walking and mass transit. Also 23rd St and Saint Honore's Bakery around the corner!
location once we figure out the neighborhood map of the area given to us at registration
Excellent location, staff and room. Staff very helpful. Breakfast excellent. Will come again.
Friendly housekeeping staff
Unfriendly front desk staff
Location, spacious room, free parking.
We were not warned that the hotel was undergoing some painting and therefore we would have to be our of the room from 9 am to 5 pm. That's a tough one with a 2 year old.
Friendly and accommodating staff; very comfortable and clean room. There are not a lot of accommodations in the Northwest District, but if you have a car, this is a good place to stay
Garbage truck and other alley traffic in the early am. Not as close as I would have liked to public transportation
Quiet and very comfy
This shows exactly how a hotel should be run. The staff is awesome, rooms are perfect, just the whole feel of the place. What a great location as well! I really can't say anything bad about this place, top notch, can't wait to return to Portland, and this is where I'll go every time.
Clean comfortably large room Convenient free parking excellent breakfast tho our view lousy the location was safe and walkable to a nice variety of cafes and shops
checked in at 3:00PM (and were the only check-ins!) The 3 front desk employees (2 male, 1 female) were not the least bit welcoming. We thought the place was overpriced at over 225.00 per night.
Clean, quiet and comfortable. Local shuttle available. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
My sister and I enjoyed staying here. Far enough from downtown to be reasonably priced; within walking distance of the famous and eclectic 23rd Street shopping district; bus-stop right on the corner and this city has a wonderful public transportation system. It's a very quiet building--didn't hear slamming doors, loud TV's or talking in the night.
The breakfast was quite blah but better than nothing. The front desk staff were all a bit on the "stand-offish" side. Felt like we were a bother to them when we asked questions.
Room relatively quiet Room decent size
Single elevator & slow Complementary breakfast not that great Overall just average
Extremely nice and comfortable rooms, beds and furnishings; extremely helpful staff; very nice breakfast. Nice trendy area with lots of restaurants and shops just a few blocks away.
Breakfast room somewhat cramped (sometimes had to wait a few minutes for a table).
location was great, easy walk to many great restaurants and shopping. Front desk staff was very helpful in making recommendations
furnishings were a bit outdated for the price
Clean, comfortable room within walking distance to restaurants and close enough to downtown. Good value considering the price of downtown hotels.
Noise level but I don't know if anything could have been done about it. Guests above us must have had an argument. Could hear constant pacing and slamming of doors from about 10 pm to 3 am in the morning. Slept extremely well the first night and probably would have given a higher rating if not for the second night.
The staff was very helpful freindly and nice they did what we want
It is very close to the best restaurant in Portland (Noisette). Also very convienient to freeway access.
Noisette is closing soon.
Location was awesome - walking distance from great restaurants
Quite expensive for the simple place it is. However, it may be specific to an area rather than this hotel in particular
