Loved the location and cleanliness of rooms!
Nice location, comfortable bed, friendly staff, clean, nice breakfast and seating area. I liked the coffee and tea in the lobby.
I did not like that a movie cost $18 to watch.
The location was close to Tacoma Dome, Glass Museum, restaurants, and right on the water. We felt safe walking in the area with our children and the atmosphere was relaxing.
We enjoyed everything during our stay. However, when checking my credit card statement I was not happy that the amount pending for the stay was more than the receipt I received fron the Inn. I called to be sure it was corrected.
Location, Location, Location!
comfort, ease of checkin/out
we stay here annually and it would be nice if we could have gotten a cheaper room that could accomodate the 3 of us as nicely as this one did.
Great location, fabulous staff, beautiful room.
Pillows - hard and small. No options for a flatter pillow (had to go buy our own).
a bit dated.
Off the highway,Good walking area close to facilities
location was nice, except the view was limited, staff was busy on the phone both times I went to the front desk, but friendly
Dirty, bird poop all over parking lot. Had to spray off my luggage after the trip (piles of seagull droppings everywhere!). Heater would not turn down. My daughter and I couldn't sleep it was so warm. Tried to open a window and the handle fell off. Beds were horrible, I could feel every spring in the mattress ( I didn't think that was possible any more with the quality of todays mattresses!). For the rate charged 181.00 after tax for two people, I expected more.
Beautiful views, clean, good breakfast choices. Front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating.
Make sure you put your "privacy please" sign on your door. We forgot, and the cleaning staff started knocking on the door at 8am.
Housekeeping needs to made sure they change out the pillows. Two of the bed pillows smelled pretty bad. Small, cheap toilet for the price of the property. Described as an "ocean or bay" view, we were given a room close to the road and train with a view pretty much of the walkway. SilverCloud has to upgrade their breakfast meat. The brown and serve sausage is not good! The same sausage they serve at Motel6.
Tap water for drinking is terrible. They have vending machines to buy small bottles of water. This should be a complimentary NOT a cost. We stayed over Christmas and all but one vending machine was sold out of water.
The Silver Cloud Inn is a cool place to stay.
Location is great and close to restaurants
Not much to complain about
We enjoyed the view from our room and the walking paths along the water. It was quiet, except for the occasional train.
Would stay there again. There were trains going by regularly, but they were not loud enough to be a deal-breaker. Our biggest complaint was that the bed was not very comfortable for us. On a scale of 1 - 10 we'd give it a 6.5. Not horrible, but certainly not great.
breakfast was outstanding and staff serving the breakfast was on top of replenishing things
had trouble with fireplace they could not fix
No military discount
We needed to extend our stay and we had no problem re booking our rooms for another night. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will stay here again.
Everything other than wifi
The view was amazing and our room beautiful with a large flatscreen and very quiet on 3rd floor. Nice to receive a paper in the morning. The breakfast was good and real plates and real silverware!
The staff was great. The candy bowl at the front desk always had some candies. The ride to, and from the Museum of glass was prompt. Great location!
So much!!! The room was amazing. Gorgeous!!! The jacuzzi was lovely and right by the window. Speaking of windows, we had so many of them--it was wonderful. But, the best part was the staff. Kim was lovely and so much fun to visit with. She really made our stay special.
Would have preferred a gas fireplace instead of electric.
The room cold and intrenet slowly.
