Housekeeping needs to made sure they change out the pillows. Two of the bed pillows smelled pretty bad. Small, cheap toilet for the price of the property. Described as an "ocean or bay" view, we were given a room close to the road and train with a view pretty much of the walkway. SilverCloud has to upgrade their breakfast meat. The brown and serve sausage is not good! The same sausage they serve at Motel6.
Tap water for drinking is terrible. They have vending machines to buy small bottles of water. This should be a complimentary NOT a cost. We stayed over Christmas and all but one vending machine was sold out of water.
The Silver Cloud Inn is a cool place to stay.
Location is great and close to restaurants
Not much to complain about
We enjoyed the view from our room and the walking paths along the water. It was quiet, except for the occasional train.
Would stay there again. There were trains going by regularly, but they were not loud enough to be a deal-breaker. Our biggest complaint was that the bed was not very comfortable for us. On a scale of 1 - 10 we'd give it a 6.5. Not horrible, but certainly not great.
breakfast was outstanding and staff serving the breakfast was on top of replenishing things
had trouble with fireplace they could not fix
No military discount
We needed to extend our stay and we had no problem re booking our rooms for another night. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will stay here again.
Everything other than wifi
The view was amazing and our room beautiful with a large flatscreen and very quiet on 3rd floor. Nice to receive a paper in the morning. The breakfast was good and real plates and real silverware!
The staff was great. The candy bowl at the front desk always had some candies. The ride to, and from the Museum of glass was prompt. Great location!
So much!!! The room was amazing. Gorgeous!!! The jacuzzi was lovely and right by the window. Speaking of windows, we had so many of them--it was wonderful. But, the best part was the staff. Kim was lovely and so much fun to visit with. She really made our stay special.
Would have preferred a gas fireplace instead of electric.
The room cold and intrenet slowly.
Lovely location, friendly helpful staff.
Trains rattle past all day and night so try and get a room as far from them as possible.
It was clean and spacious. It had great views and a lovely location on the waterfront.
I have nothing negative to report about this hotel. We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
We had to of had one of the best suites that I have ever been to in a while. The view was amazing even though it rained while we were there. Great location to local eateries and staff was very friendly.
The pillows were little squares, they could add a few more in the room. Im sure we could have asked for more pillows to be brought up to the room, however we were exhausted and fell right to sleep.
Lovely room and view, friendly and competent staff, love facility as a whole. Unique and beautiful location.
Nothing! All good!!!
Spacious rooms Friendlly service
Staff, comfort, parking, free breakfast.
a little sparse in terms of special touches--lobby was ordinary, not gardens or grounds, etc. But we had a lovely stay.
Customer service was excellent
Everything, from sitting at the window early mornings smelling the ocean air and listening to the sounds of the bay and birds to the free breakfast. All n all it was a great place. The one thing that was odd was the dirty hallway carpets. Shrugs other then that, it was great!
The view of the sound was beautiful. Several restaurants and a couple coffee shops within walking distance.
The trains!!!! There is a railroad track immediately across the street and the trains run almost non stop.Very very loud.
The bedroom itself, but you can't even see the Fireplace when you are lying in bed, and that was one of the reasons I wanted to stay there. Very disappointing. But, I LOVED the staff!! Especially, Kim, Daphney, The Service man.. They made my stay was problematic!! I would reward there employees generously. It only takes one person to give your Whole hotel a bad reputation. Because of these three people I will always recommend and speak highly of this Hotel.
Can't see the Fireplace when lying down on need... Sad... that was the main reason I booked this Hotel.
This has nothing to do with the hotel because I can't remember the last time my back didn't hurt when in a different bed. I wish it were a little softer is all.
