Staff was extremely helpful. The concierge (Luis) and shuttle driver (Mike) went out of their way to help and they were both very friendly. The location is next door to the WaMu Theatre, which was perfect for us. The rooftop pool was spectacular. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

Easily walk to many of the downtown bars near by. The free shuttle service was just a bonus.

The stairs in the hotel are for "emergencies" only, so after every game was over the lobby was filled with people waiting in line to get in one of the 2 elevators to get to thier rooms.

Shuttle service was excellent and drivers very friendly and accommodating. Convenient location to the waterfront and downtown - especially with shuttles. Loved the roof-top pool. Wish it were larger pool and lounging area to accommodate more guests - always crowded. Overall great stay especially if attending a game at Safeco.

Crowded pool area. Better places to eat in Seattle than Hotel restaurant.

You can't beat the convenience if your main priority is going to a ball game or football game while in Seattle!! Not difficult to get downtown or to the harbour front from there either.

Pull-out couch bed is NOT comfortable

The staff at this facility are exceptional!!! We can't say enough positive things about the hotel, the location, and the people who work so hard to ensure that our stay was comfortable and hospitable.

The location of the hotel was ideal (central to freeways and attractions), and we felt that our money was well spent. The room was clean and comfortable. On the first night of our four night stay, we booked and stayed at Quality Inn Downtown but were displeased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the WiFi service. With little effort and for nearly the same cost, we were able to book a larger, cleaner, more comfortable room at Silver Cloud. Complimentary shuttle to nearby attractions was also a plus.

No complimentary breakfast and the cost of parking (~$30/day) were probably the things we liked least. Admittedly, regarding parking, in the area it would've been difficult to find convenient and secure parking nearby. Hotel guests can purchase breakfast at Jimmy's On First, which is located downstairs in the hotel. The breakfast was of high quality and tasty (fresh ingredients, etc.)...only wish there were more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu.

Despite arriving amidst the chaos of the Beyonce and Jay-z concert across the street, our stay was very quiet and comfortable. We ended up walking to most of the downtown sites but the shuttle was free and very accommodating when we did use it. The restaurant downstairs was very good and provided quick room service at the room or poolside.

Nice rooftop swimming pool Convenient free shuttle to downtown Comfortable beds (sleeps 4 on 1 room)

Expensive (but that's I think the price you have to pay for a Seattle downtown location)

Big bathroom in the suite, great view of the ball park. Easy walk to ballpark, downtown for dinner, safe neighborhood. Excellent service from staff, friendly and great with our daughter.

Cost for percieved value. At almost $400 for a suite, it was old and a bit grimy, definitely needs a refresh.

Despite what others have written here....This hotel is absolutely outstanding. The location, which is located away from city center, is still great. You are located in between the baseball stadium and the football stadium, and pike place market is only a $6 cab ride away and then downtown is only a short 7 minute walk from the market. I have stayed downtown before and honestly.......you are missing nothing by staying at the silver cloud. The view from the roof top pool of the bay and cruise ships is amazing as well as the view of the ocean front boardwalk, ferris wheel, and the space needle. Our room was quiet, other than the beautiful sound of the fountain out our window which we enjoyed so much that we slept with the window open. Truly this is a fantastic find in my opinion, equally as good as staying right downtown, actually better in my opinion. The staff was absolutely fantastic, and the restaurant provided decent meals as well. Across the street is a brewery/restaurant which sells beer and wine and also has a family friendly restaurant. As for homeless people and not so great beds and road noise (as indicated by other reviews).......those characteristics were all non- existent and I felt 100% safe staying there and walking the streets all around the area with my 7 year old daughter. All in all, a great find. The price is a little high but when it's weighed against staying downtown, it's far more reasonable for all of the same high quality amenities!!!!

That I had to come home! !!

Location across from Safeco field. Excellent staff - flight was early and they had no problem letting us check in early. Convenient free shuttle to tourist sites.

Jacuzzi closed at 11 (12 would have been nicer) - by the time the baseball game ended there wasn't enough time to take a dip in the pool or jacuzzi.
