Great ambience, great value.
That we only had one night in town.
Clean, close to car for easy access. Comfortable.
Rooms are small, but typical for the time era of motels.
Nostalgic, this place just made you feel comfortable and almost like you stepped into a time capsule and should have been part of a movie.
The management & front desk staff were very knowledgeable & helpful. The wifi system was password protected & worked very well. The breakfast area outside was great! Management provided a great experience.
The rooms could stand some refurbishing; however, The Silver Saddle provides a great 5?star experience staying with them which is great!
Loved the homey atmosphere and friendly owner.
It was close to several places to eat, a cvs pharmacy and the staff was so friendly. They recommended places to eat and all. Close to down town with none of the headache of big hotels. Will stay again.
The staff were incredibly helpful. It was clean and comfortable, and the decor is really lovely. We had stayed somewhere the previous night which was trying to be cute and kitsch but in a really obvious fake sort of way. The Silver Saddle is genuine, and it's great! Would recommend it to anyone and definitely stay again if in Santa Fe.
Could of had a coffee pot in room, and iron, I didn"t bring one , next time I will. Overall for the money it was great, convient too everything, most inportant was clean manger"s where nice. Paul & Lorraine From Green Valley, Arizona
The kind owners, the breakfast in the garden with fresh fruit , the attention to detail for creating a Western atmosphere, very clean and bright rooms, the flowers in the yard of the Motel.
The staff and location was great!
room was a little small and shower a little tight .
I loved the atmosphere of this little motel. The patio off the office was lovely, the flowers planted around the property gave the place a "cared for" feeling. The room was appropriately decorated in the western style of the motel and, although small, was very clean.
We were told ahead of time that they did not provide hair dryers or in-room coffee makers, so this was fine. I was disappointed in the quality of the bar soap that was provided, though. It literally broke apart the first use. This is a very minor complaint - I'll just bring my own soap next time!
Very comfortable bed, 50's decor, friendly owners, parking at door, fridge and microwave, good value.
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with information about the area. Really liked the exceptional value of the motel.
Kitchy, old school, staff very friendly.
Really interesting and fun. Not glamorous but really cool and enjoyable.
Patio area for breakfast & coffee.
Everything that is said is true. Great Route 66 type Motel!
Friendly helpful staff Great price Convenient location Convenient parking Excellent complimentary breakfast Quiet room Comfortable beds
Bathroom needs to be updated Water faucets in shower hard to adjust No soap/shampoo tray in shower Fluctuations of water temperatures while taking shower Water backs up in sink Air conditioner too close to beds Cramped No light in closet
I loved the outside sitting areas, the room was very clean and quiet, and I loved the decorating and atmosphere. The staff was great. And there was a great shopping experience next door!
Cute, comfortable, and just a short drive to the sites. Really enjoyed my stay.
The flowers planted around the property made it very inviting. The employees were very friendly and accommodating. The room was appropriately decorated and comfortable.
There were ants in the room. The parking lot was not paved, which made it impossible to roll my suitcase.
The Silver Saddle is very homey - very friendly staff, owner-operated. Some really pretty garden areas to sit. You know you're not in a chain motel, which I love! It's not high end, but is very quaint and perfectly comfortable.
it's on Cerrillos road - turning L into the motel coming from downtown can be difficult a lot of the day.
Great small motel
Ants and tv did not work
Everything was great! We loved the theme, the staff, and the closeness to downtown. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The staff was helpful and made some recommendations. There is also the option for breakfast in the morning and you can sit outside. It was the perfect place to take a side trip from Route 66!
