Consider adding another waffle maker. Lines would move quicker since everyone likes that.

Lots people hanging out outside their rooms smoking. If you are bothered by second hand smoke stay away from this one. Our bed was too soft.

no pool

The motel is about 4 blocks downhill from the Amtrak Station and a very nice walk in good weather. Very convenient to restaurants and pubs and close to the Glenwood Springs Bathhouse. The motel is a older and starting to show her age, but still a very nice place.

Greeted at the front desk by a woman smoker who reeked of cigarette smoke, very offensive. The older apartment sized fridge in our room made a lot of noise whenever it ran, but a small incovenience considering. We did not need the airconditioner/heater that was window mounted, but the woman at the front desk made a big deal on how to operate it to avoid us having to call her and tell her it wasn't working.

The breakfast was good and I enjoyed the decor: the wall murals were nice.

The room was cold as the wall heater was turned and it took a while to warm the room. The sink was plugged up.

Everything was excellent

Gayle was as sweet as can be. We loved her welcoming attitude and professionalism.

Staff friendly, helpful. Good breakfast crowded serving area, but lots of seating.

SLOW SLOW Wifi. LOW WATER PREASURE in shower and almost impossible to regulate tempature. Small Tv's with few channels.

Location! Quiet. Room was quiet and clean.

Breakfast was disappointing considering the price of a room. The decor in the room was very tired.

The breakfast (complimentary) was excellent and the overall ambience of the motel was very friendly and attractive. It was well positioned, close to the spa pool.

The room was arranged in an unusual way - it was a 'junior suite', but the fridge was placed in front of the mirror and the microwave was next to the washbasin!

we enjoyed to stay there very much , clean rooms , decent people extraordinary breakfast and excellent service , the feeling in the silver spruce motel is like in a family - it is very recommended

The lights in our room (101) did not work. The only light that worked was the bathroom light.

The motel is close to the Glenwood Springs Pool and several restaurants. The rooms are pleasant.

Loved the staff. They were funny and friendly. We like the "motel" atmosphere better than Hotels. We like to sit outside our room and relax outdoors. They provided several plastic chairs for outdoor use. We loved that it looked like a swiss chalet. Views were great and it was perfect for what we were looking for. They were very nice and we checked out an hour late and they didn't even charge us, We will be staying here again on our next visit without a doubt. When we arrived we parked the car and everything we wanted to do was within walking distance.

The only thing I can think of that was not as expected was the mini- fridge. It was turned up to the coldest setting and hardly kept anything cold. Not anything to complain about but you asked!

The room had brand new carpet, which was a pleasant surprise. There was also a fireplace and a whirlpool tub.

The sleeper sofa was old and stained. Should have been replaced when they installed the new carpet.

We found it a charming hotel and were most relaxed when there. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would choose to stay there again if we were in Glenwood Springs once more

Very dated. Poor pillows. A/c unit needs to be replaced. It cooled but was noisey. On a budget, it is fine.

I didnt care too much for the hot tub or the hours of operation. We were hoping for a swimming pool. did not like the sink location close by the bed and dinning area. would be nice in a closed area.
