Having a full kitchen, not just a tiny efficiency, was great for a full-week stay. The location is close to both a Wal-Mart and a Smiths grocery, so it was easy to stock up on staples and make meals in the suite. Separate rooms for the kids and adults was nice, too. No one had to sleep on a pull-out couch. Can't beat the deal we got on the room, either!
No taoster (yeah, really, that's the only thing we didn't like)
Location very near other newish slopeside big properties. Parking/access to room easy and secure. Kitchen stocked and designed for easy meal prep. Front desk associates very nice.
I'd expected a balcony - or at least a view - but was on bottom floor in a very small room which became tiny with the bed pulled down. No dishwasher. Think I'll stay in a regular hotel next time with no worry making sure all trash is out, dishes dried and put away, etc. In late July, only a few of the restaurants within the area were open.
The staff here was great!!!
When I stay places, cleanliness is really important. This place was not clean! Coffee maker was not clean and the area you put water was nasty! Dirty dishes in drawers & cupboards. Window sills were full of dirt, debris & dead bugs. A couple of the pillows were old and stinky. I just feel if you are paying for someone to clean, they are not doing their job at all. Also, the outside light is so bright, there should be better window coverings. There was some electronics in the room, but had no idea how they worked to use them. Maybe a little laminated instruction sheet would be helpful.
Facility as a whole was nice, room was spacious enough for two and we liked the kitchenette and fireplace.
Air system broke in our room one night which made our room temperature above 90 degrees in the middle of the night. A guard came to look at it and shut it off which was the only thing he could do until morning when maintenance came to fix it. We were offered nothing (not even a cut in price) but attitude from the front desk staff when asked at the end of our trip to extend our stay until the evening when our shuttle was going to pick is up from the airport. The broker was very accommodating though!! Front desk is very rude
Love Silverado lodge. Have stayed there previously, but booked through Lodge, not White Pines. Great location, small, nice pool and work out room.
Since we booked with White Pine we could not get help through the lodge main desk when we had blinds that had a problem and after hours when we had questions about the TV.
It had a well stocked kitchenette
No closet, drawers or space for anything and once a suit case is opened it severely restricts traffic pattern. They also do not do room service.
