We has a great time and I really appreciate the environmentally and politically conscious business philosophy of the parent company. We enjoyed both the night club and the restaurant. |

Location - great to get to everything. What a disappointment. The room was not clean (hair in bathtub, dirty towels left on floor, discolored towels). No coffee maker in the room, no one answered the phone for room service 3 of the 4 nights I was there. |

It had good location. Deluxe Queen rooms were outdated and had a small bathroom. For the money you could do better. |

reason for choosing hotel was rate and location. The television did not work, however, the hotel lowered our rate to make up for that. |

Location, location, location! While the lobby area is really nice, the facilities suck! Heating did not work. When we asked for a heater we were given one with no knobs! Even worse was they gave us a small room for triple occupancy, even thou we paid for 3. The only positive, they knocked off 50% from the final bill. |

The lobby is amazing for getting together. Your restaurant was excellent from the staff, service and exceptional food. Loved your gentleman at the door: what a nice guy!!! Always smiling. Thought the room was cute but very small for 400$ per night! |

The design of the room was very nice and relaxing even though it was small. The staff offered excellent service. The room and bathroom size. I paid for an upraded queen size room, I would hate hae been in the standard with 2 queen beds. |

Location was great for the event I was attending. Service was poor; assigned a room and they desk clerk assigned the same room to someone else and that party walked in on us; television and electricity was not working, carpet became wet from a leak (unknown origin), management responded after several trips back to front desk; door to bathroom stuck. With all these problems, I requested management work something out for us in regard to the price of the room! Management did respond favorably. |

the excellent location and the Bell boys The treatment in breakfast: I could appreciate another approach like a fixed sum for hotel guests as the first option. When I entered with my family to the dining room, the waiter begun to investigate us about what we want (usually we enter to dining rooms for swimming) and after that he begun to give a long list of prices for products. I only intended to eat a simple breakfast and not to make business. |

The helpfulness of the staff, the location, the great lobby bar, the art deco style were just marvellous! The room was nice but small and dark and I missed a shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom which in my understanding should be complimentary and included in the price. |

Great location, but very dated decor. Needs refurbishing, painting, wall patching etc. Stuffy at night...wish we could have had some fresh air. We were in a room for wheelchair guests and the only mirror available was a horizontal one which was hung from the sink level to my chest. Mirror should at least be enlarged so as to accommodate both wheelchair-bound, short and tall people! Peeling tub should be repaired too. |

If you are staying in San Francisco for shopping this hotel is in a great location. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful but does not reflect the guest rooms. I absolutely hated the bathroom. It is a cracker box so imagine trying to put on make up! The hotel was used as a stop off before flying home from Napa so we only spent one night. If I were going to be in San Francisco for any time I would definitely not stay at this hotel unless there are rooms with decent size bathrooms. I had read that the hotel had been renovated and was very disappointed that the rooms were not nicer. When checking out the management asked how everything was and I told him about my disappointment. He was very nice and dropped the cost of our parking which he did not have to do. My suggestion for the Drake is to try making the rooms a little fancier since there is nothing to be done for the bathrooms. |
