Room too small, overpriced for that small of a room. May have been due to going thru a booking service, rather than negotiating with hotel or staying at a different hotel in Union Sq. Area. H D Samuels
We had a great view
Although, we had a great view but we were on the 20th floor and the noise from the club was too much.
Smell in floor and and also painting/construction going on
The bar area was amazing and the bartenders were top notch professionals.
The room was a bit small, but that's normal for older hotels in the area.
A bit small room, outdated facilities
great staff, observed them dealing with rude people very professionally love the bar area
no operable windows no fan in bathroom like the décor style but a bit "tired", inside the bathroom in particular
Staff was friendly.
A fire alarm went off at 1:30 am in the stairwell adjacent to our room. The staff did not know what was going on but said it was a false alarm once we got dressed and went downstairs.
Concierge very helpfull in the choice of restaurants and other entertainment.
Our room had a musty smell. We were quickly redirected to another which was much better.
The location of the hotel is perfect. The fact that they don't have any weight restrictions is perfect. Decor is chic and the hotel is relatively clean.
I had requested for pet accommodations (pet bed, dog bowls, etc) when I booked the room. When I entered my room there was nothing. Whether they provide such accommodations, I am now unclear, but it would have been courtious of them to either contact me before my stay or let me know when I checked in. The hotel representative on the phone also had a bad attitude when I called to ask about parking and alternative parking choices.
Perfect location in Union Square with one of my favorite restaurants connected to hotel. Nightly wine and cheese happy hour was enjoyable. Room was very spacious and surprisingly quiet. Staff was knowledgeable on good running routes through city.
Bathroom did not have a lot of space for toiletries but still had a full bathtub/shower.
Rooms were nicely furnished and the location is outstanding. The bar on the top level is fantastic. Great view and ambiance. Perfect for a solo business traveler or a couple.
I didn't like the staff, I found they had a bit of attitude. Only the door man and one girl on the front desk were particularly nice. Food and drinks were very expensive and not that great. The rooms were tired and I found hair in the bathroom.
I liked the Starlight Room and Scala's Bistro in the hotel. I liked the comfort of my bed.
The bathroom was small.
Horrible sound proofing, exorbitant prices not including breakfast Condescending concierge
position very good
noisy room, room breakfast expensive (not adeguate)
Really small bathroom
Great location Excellent service from doorman in particular Beautiful surrounding in hotel with lots of nice features Night club Wining tasting evening
Small bathroom No coffee/tea facilities in room Small bath towels
Location so we could walk or choose public transportation. Great place to visit.
Convenience of location for walking union square area and boarding trolley. Loved the morning coffee and evening wine tasting.
A tad pricey but seems norm for the area unfortunately. Also the extra cost of parking the car. Too bad you don't sometimes offer a package deal, especially December for all the holiday events.
Location, complimentary coffee and wine, friendly staff, beautiful hotel
Pillows were terrible, flat, NOISEY construction all night both nights! For the price they should put pillows in as good as Hampton Inns!
High speed internet
no breakfast included with the booking The fee of parking ! Small room
bar, eco-friendly, location
pricey with no breakfast included
The toilet is derty and small room with dust and old . Worst experience
Convenient location. Generous room size. Quiet room. Polite staff.
Slightly tired decor. Water not free in room. P
