Location in the village. Continental breakfast included some protein such as boiled eggs. Breakfast hours could have been a bit longer.
Tight parking in the lower level of property.
Everything...location, intimate cozy feeling, lovely people attending to us, beautiful accommodations, Delicious breakfast ..underground parking...& all at a very affordable price right in the center of Vail! We would certainly stay here again!
Comfortable bed (Tempurpedic!!) Great location - close to center of Vail Village Spacious room (king-size bed with table, sitting area, and still space to walk around. Definitely didn't feel claustrophobic here) Breakfast provided (waffles, cereal, coffee, etc.) Friendly and courteous staff Clean!!
Slightly older hotel = updated but not amazing bathroom (not a lot of light)
Location ambience breakfast
Lobby fireplace nor working until Nov...
The location is wonderful, free parking, free wi-fi, free light breakfast, and espresso machine in lobby.
Shared balcony, musty smell in the hallways, no elevator to upper floors from garage, small bathroom, noisy ceiling fan, doors on 2nd floor closing and making a thump, overall a loud space before bedtime. It lacked the splendor of other Vail hotels in the area that are close in price.
Large, clean room Great wi-fi Comfortable bed
Not enough towels poolside 2 days in succession.
Good Location, Comfortable beds, staff was helpful, breakfast was nice.
Room was warm for summer weather, unless the door to the balcony was left open. Balcony was shared with room next door.
We had a large and comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The location is EXCELLENT, with the Village out one side and the river walk out the other. We walked to Lionshead village for dinner at Tavern on the Square for dinner and a jazz concert.
Not enough seating room at breakfast, but this is a minor problem.
the mini fridge and the small cabinet with wine glasses, cups, cork screw the most comfortable bed the furnishings - table and chairs, chair with ottoman, dresser, rooming closet the free breakfast
This Hotel is the best, best with staff, nice large rooms with lots of facilities, lovely hotel in a great location with parking under the hotel, shops, bars and resturants right on the doorstep.
Location and proximity to other parts of Vail.
It would be better to have proper desk chair and desk in the room to use with a computer. I was working in the room much of the time. But this was not a problem that seriously detracted from the ambiance of the Sitzmark..
We had a wonderful visit. The staff, esp Nick and Jeannie were great, They were friendly and answered all our questions. The room was comfortable and very clean. The location was perfect in the middle of Vail village. There were a lot of fun summer activities- concerts, bike riding, hikes and gondola rides up the mountain where you could have lunch and hike or ride a bike. The complimentary breakfast was a plus. The price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend the hotel.
There was nothing to dislike.
I have stayed here many times over the years -- it is always virtually perfect.
Convenient location in heart of Vail with Free parking & daily breakfast! Nice staff. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Daily maid service. Many restaurants within easy walking distance. Lodge is celebrating it's 40th anniversary!
The staff, in particular Jennifer, were really nice and helpful. The location is great as well - we parked our car the day we arrived and walked everywhere for the next 5 days. You could even easily walk to the next village, or take the free bus. There are plenty of activities right near the hotel as well. Breakfast was simple, but perfect for what we were looking for. Also, the room had a fridge which really came in handy. Overall, a really great stay and we would book there again.
The hotel was clean, but could probably use a little updating. We stayed on the street side, and with the balcony door open, it could be noisy at times.
My kids loved the pool and how close we were to the mountain. Super easy parking and bike storage.
EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE
Excellent location with the river sounds and view off the balcony of the room and located in the heart of the village. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Came with breakfast with made to order Waffle bar. Staff was friendly. Parking available in front of hotel for free. Vail is beautiful and located where you can drive 1.5 hours: to water raft or zipline in Buena Vista (recommend AVA), to Denver, or North to Steamboat Springs. Great restaurants-recommend the Tavern on the Gore
The parking situation was not good at all.
The location was perfect with access to all attractions within minutes. Room was appointed very well.
The room had just been completely wallpapered and the smell was pretty strong. It would have been best to let the room air our completely before putting someone in there. The bathroom tub drain didn't work very well and I ended up showering in 6 inches worth of water.
Great Hotel. Staff always cheerful and helpful
Complimentary breakfast a bit limited
This hotel provides good value for the money (in Vail). The rooms are fairly large, there's a nice hot tub and pool, and the location in the village is outstanding.
Relatively minor items but noticeable: 1) The only protein at breakfast was cold hard boiled eggs. 2) The balconies are shared between two rooms so we didn't want to leave the door open at night. 3) The room had a strong odor of cleaning chemicals that never went away during our stay. 4) I think there was a booking mistake (90% sure - might be me). I think I booked a room with a king bed on the creek side but got two queens on the street side. The king was $10 more and the hotel was full anyway. 5) Lastly, our room was on the street / pedestrian mall side and there was some noise until 11:00 PM or so. There was a lacrosse tournament in town and it was full of teenagers, mostly unsupervised. Apparently this goes on every summer for a month in Vail.
Quiet, great location, breakfast was great, friendly staff
