The luxurious styling of the hotel and rooms made it an incredibly comfortable stay and given the cold weather became a haven for us.
Nothing bad to report but paying for wifi is always a little disappointing but didn't dampen the experience.
Location Cozy lobby with a fireplace Friendly staff
Paid wifi No restaurant or cafe due to renovations
Alex in resto very kind & helpful. Location excellent. Concierge v helpful. Breakfast v good
Poor coordination for baggage despatch when leaving. Reception staff overall peremptory/ no eye contact. V disappointing.
location, décor, comfort
nickel and dime attitude, sullen staff
Really nice location in soho. Lovely rooms.
Delightful staff Stylish Welcoming
I expect wifi in my room as a matter of course.it is annoying to be charged for it.
I don't like having to pay for wifi in my room at a hotel like this. Same goes for $8 bottles of water.
I don't like having to pay for wifi in the room.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Facilities were very clean. Room service was prompt. Beds are comfortable. Location was good.
Clean rooms Helpfull staff Modern interior Nice breakfast and good coffee Location, near Soho Subway 2 blocks away Overall experience
Room temperature, too high and due to winter period impossible to switch airco on cold. Slept with open window to cool room down.
One of the best hotel I ever stayed, excellent decoration and service! Make you feel you are living in New York as your own home! Plus very tasty brownie everyday!
We needed to find a close hotel to our son's Soho apartment for a Christmas visit. The SIXTY SOHO, is a renovated, cool, comfortable boutique hotel. The location, for us, was perfect for walking to all the Soho shopping, restaurants and subways. I was a little hesitant to stay as some of reviews mentioned noise from the remodeling and construction of the lobby bar/ restaurant. A few friendly emails with the excellent concierge staff assured me the work was finished and the smaller lobby restaurant was up and running! Excellent coffee, food and drinks. Our server who worked Christmas morning to get us a holiday breakfast was a real gem. Rooms are comfortable and while not huge- they used the space very efficiently. Our room had an in-room mini bar as well as a full sized, mirrored Drink station.
We really did like our stay at Sixty SOHO. But, being on the street side with a balcony was great for a view- but noisy on trash day! (This is not the hotels fault, just an observation.) The free Wi-Fi in the lobby is great, $15 per night for room Wi-Fi seems a little steep. And for some reason, when anyone adjoining or above flushes their toilet- it's really loud! But we would stay their again, no doubt.
It was very trendy and Chic.
The hotel was beautifully maintained, safe, and in a great not-so-heavily-trafficked location so we could sleep easily.
A little pricey
Well appointed and maintained hotel. Location is in a great location out of the craziness of Rock Center and Broadway hotels.
Wi Fi was down.
Everything great but walls thin and little child next door could be heard throughout our stay.
We loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The room was gorgeous and cleaned to perfection every day. Would definitely stay here again.
One thing I would change is I think the hotel should provide wifi for free
very stylish place, good taste!
stiffness of the staff: the luggage was not brought to the room and when asking for an umbrella it was a hurdle
restaurant service is little poor, very expensive breakfast.
Very friendly staff, new tastful interior, trendy hotel bar, very close to Soho shopping area and quiet.
We loved the location of the hotel and its proximity to area shops and restaurants. The lobby area was fine for relaxing or reading.
The lounge/bar staff was impolite and very slow. They seemed to her preoccupied with talking to each other while ignoring guests standing at the bar, or seated at the tables. The to go coffee area provided small cups with lids that din't fit at a cost of $3.50 per cup…….ridiculous!
I like that they try to make use of mirrors and light for a shoebox size room. The shower was nice although in order to use the adjustable showerhead you had to be about 6'5" to be able to reach it
Beware, online photos are very deceiving. This room is smaller than small. We expected small because it was a boutique hotel, but this was ridiculous. When I complained to the manager her only comment was that it is clearly stated on the site the size of the hotel room. Not an excuse. They also didn't tell you that certain areas were under construction and that only 1 elevator was working, they didn't tell you that one restaurant was open, And the breakfast sign says breakfadt is being served which implies that it is Free, but it is not. I would never stay here again not would I ever recommended it. $560.00 down the drain.
Lobby and bar Location The staff
To pay for wifi in the bedroom
Location is excellent - walking distance to the west village/ soho/nolita/little italy/ the bowery/chinatown. Good links to the subway network. Staff are very friendly. The Concierge and door staff very nice - good to see the same staff there on two visits. Room is clean and well maintained. Free wifi in the lobby
having to pay for wifi in the room when its free in the lobby???? Still some construction going on in the hotel - we had one day with quite a bit of noise. Cold in the corridors of the hotel
