Very well done restoration of older hotel. Quaint. Staff was young and cute.
Not typical hotel.
Probably the Best Views and the fastest free Wi-fi of any hotel in America - Well Done!!! Really friendly and helpful staff left down by smelly tired old buildings
Unfortunately the hotel is pet-friendly... probably great if you bring a pet, however if you do not own a pet then having to cope with the rancid smell of a unknown number of previous pet guests is unacceptable, and no amount of masking the smell with chemical deodorant will ever help. Decor - probably wasn't even considered modern in the 60's...
Didn't expect much as it was only a 2 star rating but we were very impressed with everything. Loved the location and beautiful view. Restaurant on top by airport was amazing as well.
If you are only on a short trip choose this place! Excellent and friendly staff and GREAT view all around Sedona just feom the hotel. If pay some extra this you can enjoy from your own terrace, if not enjoy it from the wedding area terrace or special place between the front houses. In case you stay longer you will enjoy the swimming pool and the relaxing hot tube after hiking around Sedona. In Sedona everybody comes to this place to enjoy the great view from the parking and view point. Here you can it without a crowd. Do not miss the sunset time and enjoy it!!!
The bathroom is gettong slowly outdated.
Access to the spirit and beauty of the area in a cozy comfortable setting
Heat in room was hard to control
Pillows - lumpy and uncomfortable. Thank goodness I travel with my own pillows.
Comfortable. Spectaclar views. Friendly people.
Scenery, and price
Room was cold and old, smelled.
The upstairs patio connects with everybody else so people can walk pass your back window and see in.
Fantastic location. Bed clean and comfortable. Inexpensive. The pros outweigh the cons. The views are spectacular. Great restaurant within walking distance.
Doors drafty, fans and heater noisy. Nedds updating
The staff was friendly but non existent after 10pm. The view was as described The beds were comfortable It was clean
Very outdated decor Fireplace did not work in one of our rooms Could not get warm in the room Not enough blankets on the bed No night desk person to help us Room did not have instructions on how to contact the front desk or roaming night watch person 70's hotel with 2014 prices
We were called that evening to see if we needed anything. Tv needed some work and the maintenance man, Tom, came and fixed it right away.
The people next door had a dog. They left for dinner and the dog cried the whole time that they were gone. Contacted front office, and they contacted owner of dog. Eventually owners came back. I thought pets were not allowed.
Wonderful location for the money
Great location with a view over Sedona and the red rock. Nice sunrise and sunset watching. Staff were helpful and patient after I left my luggage at the hotel.
Great location just by the airport, with a wonderful view of Sedona and mountains nearby. A short walk to the grill at the airport.
Nothing. Have recommended to a friend who is travelling there shortly.
The beds and bedding were amazing. And the view from our room and patio were unbeatable. I think it is the best view in all of Sedona. Staff was great and very accomodating. This was my third stay here, and I will return to Sky Ranch Lodge on my next visit to Sedona. The Mesa Grill is so convenient, food is great, staff is very friendly. And the view of the landing strip is worth the trip by itself.
A very petty thing, but the TV remote did not show what program was on or have a program guide. But who needs TV in Sedona with that amazing night sky?
superb room fire in the evenings made all the difference great views from terrace and rooms
The grounds are very pretty. Nice observation area of valley.
The rooms are old, beds are terrible. The bed creaks loudly when you lay down. real bad parking, lots of dust,
Loved the view and the grounds. Also enjoyed the outdoor bar area.
1. Bathrooms very outdated! We only received two bottles of h2 o the first night. Coffee a disappointment.
The location is very nice. The view from the lovely special garden area is great. I've been there twice now and enjoyed it very much. And yes the nearby restaurant has great food.
I love the grounds, view and the fireplace.
Beautiful property. Quiet, clean, staff very friendly. Reasonable price.
The bed was a bit too hard for our taste, but other than that, great!
I liked everything about Sky Ranch and would love to go back there. I stayed for a week and was very sorry to leave. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the room I stayed in was so comfortable and the entire lodge was beautifully kept. It was a pleasure to walk around the grounds, enjoying the pool and hot tub and sitting to admire the view at the wedding site.
The views and the fireplace
Our room was too too far from the office and it was impossible to find the ice machine which I needed to soak my still healing broken ankle
Great location wonderful Vista layout of the property is excellent very interesting use of vegetation and water
