Price was good. Location was good. They seemed helpful and responsive.
Litter and garbage around property. No ice machine. No maid service. Very dirty.
the only great thing about this motel is the location
the elevator was very dirty, smelled of the worse mildew ever. there was nightly fights, in which the police were called several times. other guests on the property were selling drugs. when we complained to the front desk we were told the we should call the police. the rest rooms were entirely to small, the rest window blinds were broken. tub had chipped paint. this motel is in need of a MAJ0R MAKE OVER AND POSSIBLY NEW OWNER! would never stay there again
The location was great. And the staff was great. Very nice man at the desk
The floors were dirty. The bathroom shower curtain had mold on it. The dressrest were falling apart.
Very dirty.. Wondering if they received any Sandy relief funds and if so, what did they do with it? Bathroom loaded with mold and do not lift bedspread box springs extremely filthy.Walls dirty, scraped and dented. Housekeeping duties lacking for sure as well as maintenance. Hope they spend winter making much needed repairs.
Two double beds are comfortable. Micro and fridge. Fresh clean towels. Shower with nice hot water. Staff very helpful, friendly. and accommodating, more so, in my opinion and my friends opinion, than any other similar motels along Jersey shore. ****
Lighting was dim. One lamp in corner of room near microwave had bulb but didn't work. Another lamp on wall by bed was missing a shade. Few outlets difficult to get to. Fan in bathroom was extremely loud.
The price and location are great. The room, though run down and outdated, was mostly clean. The pool area was very large and looked to be well-maintained. Not the best customer service, but the guy at the counter got us what we asked for. Good beds and decently quiet at night.
The place is very run down inside and out. Every room has massive windows instead of a normal wall and window at the front, but the curtains for that window had holes and wouldn't close properly. No daily room cleaning service (we did go out of season though, so maybe that's why). 911 was called/Cops came one afternoon though not sure why. Shower was basically a strong mist. TV channels made very little sense - a bunch of repeats and missing some basics (couldn't find NBC). The parking spaces are very tight, but they do have a lot of spots.
Close to beach
So dirty and old dated
desk clerk was very nice and friendly
stained linens. lack of tv channels. overall shabby appearance of room and outside area
it was a very old, run down motel. I did not know where to stay so we just picked this place, sight unseen. It was OK for 1 night but I would not go back.
Close proximity to beach.
Room smelled bad, not clean..room in bad condition. There were burn marks on the blanket on bed.
Location to the beach & boardwalk Office personnel were very nice & helpful. Refrigerator worked well
Room needs paint and repairs badly. Rug, sofa & chair full of stains/burns, whatever. Walls in need of paint. Bathroom looked like it hadn't seen a repair in 10 years. Cigarette butts on stairwells and walkways. I could see outside through the door frame into the room. In their defense, if the crew that came in Saturday night is common, I can understand the destruction. But I don't want to pay full price when I am immaculate just because others are slobs.
Just 2 blocks from the boardwalk and ocean... Looks like they are trying yo make improvements. Only cheaply, mattress are sagging a bit ... You roll yo the middle. 2 years after Sandy alot done I'll check back with them when we go back. See if more done.
The pool was nice!
The rooms smelled like a nasty old bar. The carpet needs to be replaced along with all the furniture. The beds were very uncomfortable. The pull out sofa bed was so disgusting and with brown all over the mattress. On our first day there, the ceiling leaked all over our stuff!!! There already was water damage all over the top of the walls. Needs better hospitality! Very dirty rooms had to wash the tub with hand sanitizer and baby wipes before I bathed my kids! Needs updating! The elevator was nasty and smelled like throw up and made your nose run as soon as u got in it! We were moved to another room due to the leaks! That room was a teeny tiny bit better but still nasty. Not a family place to stay. Maybe for crack heads and drunks! Never got any refund or any other accommodations for our inconvenience!
The price was great! The people at the desk were pleasant! How close it was to the beach was awesome.
The shower had mold on shower curtain the walls were dirty and needed to be painted really bad and the curtains were falling from the ceiling.
The locaton to boardwalk and beach was fantastic. Granddaughters LOVED the pool. Very friendly staff.
The rooms need some updating-especially bathrooms and curtains(they had holes in them) we kept them together with clips.
i like the hotel was clean and my whole family were comfortable. the workers were friendly and helpful.
Excellent location freindly staff big rooms clean pool spoke with manager very pleasant persona person how cares about his property nice person
Rooms were full of sand on bed and floor . suggestion put small broom s in rooms so that the people have a choice if they want to get the sand off bed and floo I stayed for 3 days n 2 nights never once did they come to clean my room.
Convenient walk to shore.affordable
Sheets weren't so neat. It made me itchy. Found a stain on the comforter that looks like it wasn't washed.people walkin in the hallway noisy making me not sleep
Close to everything we were planning to do
The room was dated, smelled like mildew, drapes were ripped and beds were uncomfortable. The mattresses and pillows were stained. We had a junior suite and the room was not big enough for 4 or 5 people.
When arriving to the Skyview, we were offered the Sea Gem apartments. 3 bedrooms, kitchen etc for a slight (very reasonable upcharge), I'm glad we took Sam & Mike up on this. The Sea Gem 3 bedroom was nice. Kitchen had no pots/pans so cooking was out of the question. Pretty clean, the bathroom smelled a bit like pee, so we had that taken care of. Quick service and all the towels we could use. I don't know what goes on at the Sky View, but there was a good amount of police activity. The free beach passes were a cool bonus.
The rooms, mostly the ceiling, could use a coat of paint and the front door could be a little bit more secure. Nothing having to do with the Sea Gem/Skyview, the area of the beach did smell like boadwalk trash for a few days.
The location was the best part followed by the rate of the room, as well as the staff which seem to like to accommodate. The pricin was fairly cheap compared to others I did like the fact that they also had a pool which I would not use but it's nice to know that they have one
The motel like most motel are rundown nothing really modified or new everything is old but the only thing that really upset me and my family is that we don't believe the bathrooms or anything in the rooms are cleaned with any chemicals they just wiped down with a rag and vacuumed and onto the next which for a clean person couple or family can find very unappetizing
Located across the street of the Beach/Boardwalk
The bathroom was dated. Doorknob needed tightening & the back of the bathroom door was filthy & could of used some paint.
