My room was on the first floor. And there was something wrong with the front door of the hotel where the door would slam. All night I heard a slamming door and I barely slept because of it.

Rooms were clean staff was helpful price was very good It should be more explicit to customers that there are only 6 parking spaces--not enough for everyone who stays in the hotel.

The rooms were clean The rooms were smaller than a bathroom me and my family could barely move around, and the neighborhood was very questionable, free parking is parking on the street or under the bridge and pray not to get a ticket. Our 7 night stay turned into a 1 night regret. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Be careful what you reserve online

Free wifi, parking, continental breakfast, proximity to Manhattan and king-sized bed in modernly furnished room. Friendly, accomodating staff. Shoe box size of the room with a king-size bed. You could barely manuever just around the perimeter of the bed. There was no room for extra luggage outside of the closet. Quite a bit claustrophobic and the walls were really thin because we could clearly hear conversations in the adjoining rooms. Not to mention the "lovely" window view of the alley's trash and direct sight into the neighbors bedroom windows and vice versa. We were expecting a basic-sized room for the money we paid. Quite a bit of a let down for the price.

Frontdesk staff very friendship and polite. Background staff (housekeeping) very loud all mornings in front of my room. Also something is wrong with their air conditioner/healer system... Everytime we used the equipment, my skin got eruptions because of some type of allergy...

The bed was comfortable The internet did not work and when I inquired to fix it I was told to call the service provider. The breakfast was awful. Cold eggs, uncooked sausage and fake orange juice. I stayed there, under the freeway in a not very nice part of Brooklyn, far from Manhattan or the nicer parts of Brooklyn, on New Year's Eve and Day and paid $460 for the 2 nights.

not too much It is one of the most overpriced, poor, disinterested hotels I have every stayed. Hugely overpriced at $250, the room smelled of damp must and the staff said ti was not a smoking room btu maybe someone smoked, yes they could smell it but offered to spray it in chemical fragrant. No reduction or alternative room. Breakfast room cannot cope with amount of people staying there, loose cable for PC crossing floor. Just lack of interest in experience and value.

The price is good. Big beds, small clean room. It is a long way to Manhattan, if you are planning to spend most of your time in town, think twice. The gym is non-existant and not working, so please remove it from facilities Breakfast food is not replenished when finished, so you need to be really early if you want to eat something. Noisy rooms if facing the front street as a main high level road pass by. Hotel Staff not very friendly. The downtow logo is non-existent so please remove it from advert.

Comfortable, clean, and nice rooms. Coffee/tea machine in the room was an excellent advantage. The breakfast was ok, even though the breakfast place is not that big, we were always finding a table to sit and enjoy the meal. The staff was helpful. The subway is fairly close, but it takes you always around 30 minutes to Manhattan.

Location was quiet. Friendly staff. The bed was comfortable and clean. Rooms are small, basically walking room on both sides of bed and between counter and end of bed. Not the worst thing we were only there to sleep, but out purchases where piled up. The shower tiles were older style in good shape, but not cleaned well, there was black and pink mold anywhere water would hit and be. The towels are very thin and rough, not like home. The stool and sink and floors were fine.

It was good price, pretty safe neighborhood. I was there for a wedding and was able to find an alterations place, a 99cent store for some gift wrapping and pizza all close by. Rooms kind of small, but you get what you pay for. Room was freezing, the ac has no real settings, but at least its there.

Good Location, easy to get to Manhattan with subway close by and operating 24 hours a day. You are in times square in around 30 minutes. Its true like others have said here. Breakfast room is small but really its not an issue.

The hotel was convenient to our cruise ship. It was clean and we appreciated the breakfast. There was lots of trash outside the hotel. This seem to be the case of the entire neighborhood. It looked like a garbage dump. When we rolled our suitcase into the lobby it drug pieces of litter with it from the sidewalk.

The room is pretty clean, with a reasonable size (not enormous, but large enough for two people), and the restroom is comfortable. The staff is nice and friendly. The closest subway station (line R, 25th st.) is at a walking distance. The wifi is working and free of charge. The location is not the fanciest thing of the hotel (the sight outside the window is pretty depressing), and the cost for a double room is not properly cheap, although NYC has a high average cost, even in Brooklyn. The breakfast is not amazing, although there is everything basic you need. However, I don't have any specific complain, especially because the room was really clean (and I had really bad experiences in hotel in big cities like NYC, Chicago or Boston).
