I loved how well mannered and how neat and organized the staff were. I am definietly coming back very soon
There wasnt anything I havent liked haha I'm coming to stay again.
Location, peace and quiet, clean bathroom and comfortable bed and especially the breakfast.
There wasn't anything I did not like about my experience and stay!
I always have a good experience when I stay here. Everything about this hotel is great. When I visit ny which is about twice a month, I stay here.. It's a great place for your money.
I wish there was more parking:(
5-6minute walk to train.
ahower only, no bath.
The hotels sutff were nice and very helpful. Very clean room and comfortable beds. The room itself is good and clean. The room service is good.
The location is far from manhattan, and it makes every trip there a long time on subways.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable.
- no negative surprises, the hotel is as described on booking.com - takes about 20 minutes to lower Manhattan, about 30 minutes to Times Square via Metro - we are budget travelers and this was the best looking real hotel (not counting hostels) we found with decent location close to Manhattan. Overall we were satisfied with the hotel we chose. :)
- what's not mentioned on www.booking.com is that the hotel is about 100-150meters from the overpass to highway and you can hear cars all day, however, it's New York, so there is not as many quite locations. The noise was not as bad once you got a little used to it. - windows are very thin and let cold through easily; on the other hand there is AC/heating in the room, so again, not such a huge issue. - for breakfast please do not expect anything fancy, regular breakfast you get in any budget hotel (wafles, eggs, ham, yogurt and some bagels); but again, this was expected from our side.
Price and location are excellent.
the room was acking in heat.
The hotel was very relaxing I enjoyed every moment of it. The room was clean and comforting. The staff was helpful
The Staff at Sleep Inn Brooklyn Downtown was excellent. They were polite, professional, welcoming and very helpful. They not only called a car service for us, they followed through with a second call w/o our request. They assisted us w/charging our cell phone. The gentleman also assisted another patron who was physically handicapped with getting up and into the elevator. Someone came up with their luggage and helped him into his room. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was dated but clean and served the purpose. The breakfast was fresh and their was a women cleaning and refreshing food as it was used. She was very polite and professional.
There was a defect with the air / heating unit on the outside of the building. The wind was blowing very hard w/rain and it created a loud noise which made it difficult to get a peaceful nights sleep. We did not request another room because of the hour. It did not make the noise until we were in bed falling off to sleep. We tried turning it off / on and it made no difference. Parking is very limited. We were fortunate to get a space right in front so we left the car there and used the car service. T is close for transportation. In close proximity to large shopping areas, Barkley Center and LIU.
Location was close to my son in Park Slope and it was just three blocks from the subway stop
The room and beds were very small
The rooms were dirty - poorly decorated and not very welcoming The carpet was grubby and hasn't been cleaned for some time The room smells strongly of grime The towels were visibly discoloured and I had to ask for some to be replaced I asked for a non-smoking room and was allocated a smoking room - the hallways smell strongly of smoke Generally the service was grumpy except for the woman who did breakfast - incidentally, breakfast was prepared in the computer room! Room service knocked the door and said they had come to do the room. I told him to come back later but he insisted he had to do it now - I told him it wasn't convenient and he wanted to argue the point so I had to close the door! I wanted a map of the local area and they didn't have one - I asked for a tube map and it still hasn't arrived
Perfect price for a one night stay.
Room had a shower but no bath (I like to soak after a hectic day).
The staff of The Sleep Inn in Brooklyn Downtown are very welcoming and pleasant. The room was clean, comfortable (for a NYC hotel room, this is about as large as they come). The amenities are nice and having a refrigerator and hairdryer is a big help.
The breakfast could use some help. I know that most hotels try to offer a breakfast now, but I think they could do better. A hot dish such as scrambled eggs and a few less "sweet" items would have been appreciated. There is a Dunkin' Donuts place a few blocks up which we ended up visiting for a better quality breakfast.
Helpful staff. Close to subway.
Too close to highway. You can hear the trucks all night long. Breakfast is not the best.
clean bathroom, clean bedding, free parking if you can find a spot on the small parking lot, cable tv, and convenient location. Breakfast is offered as well.
very tiny rooms, not the nicest front desk agent.
Staff was excellent me and my wife stayed 3 days room was small but acceptable very clean quiet close to subway and attractions
Location is close to city centre. Nice breakfast. Friendly staffs.
Water closet was not flushing properly, but was later fixed.
Comfy beds Gym Excellent Wifi Breakfast good Location for Manhattan good - 3 block walk and one subway Air conditioning good Mini fridge useful Cleaners trustworthy
People checked into our room by mistake and weren't informed Travel from airport took 4 hours because of some of it undertaken after 11pm - all subways after 11pm limited Reception staff didn't offer much help Safe in room not free
I like the fact that the lower staff was very courteous and friendly
Front desk people spent too much time away from their station
It served our purpose being local to the event we were attending. Easy access to subway.
Very crowded at breakfast.
Small but clean, one of the best complimentary breakfast with real meat. Great value.
Parking was the only concern, but no real problem.
only 5 mins walk from metro, a convenient shop is located right beside the station
room is a little small, have no where to place our suitcase but overall i would still recommend this hotel
