Every time I go to new York and that's once a month, I make sure I book with the sleep in. The prices are great and the area is ok. Its close to the subway and prospectpark. The hotel is clean and friendly!!!
Clean, quiet rooms. Easy check in.
They need more parking
Great Choice of Free movies to view during my stay.
Air conditioner in room not functioning.
Within walking distance of public transportation. Breakfast.
Reserved for a King but was given a room with a full sized bed. Air conditioning not operational. Slight problem with billing.
A nice and good hotel, close to the subway, and thus close to Manhattan, but for a normal price.
Room was not always cleaned properly.
Clean room, good amenities.
Breakfast area very small, reception in the final day made a disappointing mistake.
It was my second time staying at this hotel. I can't say I was very happy during my first stay, but we looked for a inexpensive place after staying in Manhattan. So... The room we got at first wasn't cleaned at all... However, they offered us a very clean one after we showed them hair on the floor and dirty sheets in a first room. They apologized a few times. Mattresses were Amaizing! We could open the window. It was quiet. Breakfast was ok. When we were there 2 years ago, housekeepers woke us up around 6am yelling in a hallway. We asked them to be quiet, but they didn't care... This time around I was afraid same thing might happen, but it didn't.
We had to park on a street in front of a hotel. Wi-fi was very poor. The crack under the room door was huge. I woke up around 4 am and couldn't breath, it smelled SO bad! Cigarets... I put a big towel along the door and opened our window. When I woke up again, it smelled good.
Large (for NY) room, good bed. Free parking.
Noisy neighbors in next room, thin walls.
Room was very clean and breakfast was good. Parking was not a problem and the wifi was a good addition. Television and the safe came in handy.
The hotel staff not very friendly and the room had no microwave. We couldn't consider leftovers because we had nomeans of heating them later.
It was cheap ... Staff were helpful and friendly and it was good value for money when Manhatten prices are extortionate
Area could be considered unsafe after dark if you are unfamiliar with area.
My king size room was nice, I had plenty space for my belongings nice closet space and dresser space, bathroom was fair. Not far from the local trains and bus to get around.
Great breakfast! Close to subway perfect location for commuting to manhatton one day and brooklyn the next day. Will be back
Parking . Very limited parking in back. There is street parking tho and parking is Free !!
Housekeeping forgot to provide me with all of the bathroom towels a couple times
ask for a double bed receive single king size bed
best breakfast free
The place is clean, well run, good value
My husband could get the wifi on his phone. you should run the breakfast longer (til 10:00) on Sundays.
I like it
In house security
Parking Distance to subway
Just one elevator for the whole building. Too much time for waiting.
quiet clean nobody bothers you the breakfast is good
didn't like the wifi restriction and some of the channels of the tv have some bad quality and some don't show.
Location was a sad surprise. Didn't feel safe so kept our rental for longer than actually needed in order to not walk late at night from subway station to hotel. What was offered for Breakfast was awful. Our room had an uncomfortable smell. Sorry, for bad reviews but it is what it is :(
Twin size pillows in a king bed Very small room Nothing around the hotel
Place seemed fairly new location was okay but had issues with parking
Parking in rear was a tight fit and if u was out on the late nite u definetly not gonna find a spot
Clean hotel, pretty comfortable and quite well equipped rooms (fridge, coffee maker in room). Great value for this price.
Is quite far away from Manhattan and from the subway station. Neighborhood looks a bit unsafe, especially evenings
