Nothing, worst hotel I ever stayed at

Dirty, noisy, stafff was not friendly or helpful, no internet service (ad says they have it, but it was down the whole week we were there), out door pool was green and had ducks in it. Would never stay there again. We would have left, but there were no other open hotels.

I can't reach the location to assist with an item I left in hotel room. Call me @ 770-402-3783. There is a reward for returning my prescription eyeglasses that were left.

Condition of thr room and all things associated with it. Everything was in deplorable condition. When we first arrived, we were given room 108, which was terrible. I complained and was given room 105, which appeared better, so we took it. Shortly thereafter, my wife tyried to move a chair, and the armrest came off. The shower did not drain; the bathroom door appeared like someone shot at it with a shotgun. The ventilation system was full of dirt, etc., etc.. We were scheduled to stay there for 3 nights, but after 1 night, we had enough. When we told the manager, he said "we can give you a different room." We told him: "why didn't you give us the good room in the first place, why did you play games with us?" He stated that he didn't know if he would refund our money for the 2 additional days that we were scheduled to stay. We told him that "we were totally unhappy with the condition of the place, and that I would contact aaa and also tell them about the poor condition of the place." We then left.

It's location in Pigeon Forge and its accessibility to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, and shopping in Pigeon Forge.

The fact that the jacuzzi in our room did not work. However we felt we were too late in the evening finding out to complain.

Smoky shadows is the worst place I have ever stayed at !!! by far a very bad experince !! 1 st day toliet was broken , vanity light over sink didnt work , carpet and bathroom was nasty !!, sink was stopped up , was there 4 days they finally got sink unstopped !!! phone didnt not work half the time !! tv would change channels by itself !! elevator smelled like wet dog !! wifi didnt work and the manager didnt have a clue what to do about it !!!! save the best for last !! we showed up on a thursday while apparently the cops had been there to bust a freaking meth lab !!!!!! really!!! And they told us nothing about it . we found out when we got back home !!!!!!!! dont stay at smoky shadows in pigon forge !!!

It was close to Gatlenburg.

My first room smelled of smoke, and there was hair in the tub, and dirt in the sheets. We were going to leave because of the smell, but no refunds so I had to pay forty more dollars to get a better room. The pictures of the room online are not the room u get when u check in. The woman at the front desk told me that the bad room I had to begin with are the ones they post online.. The pool was dirty with green looking mold on the cement and the doors leading out from the pool were almost rusted away. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Upgrades are a must for that place. I will not be staying at Smoky Shadows again and has detured me from booking another hotel online again.

I stayed on the second floor. It was suppose to be no smoking floor. People on that floor smoke. It was all in my room. I have a 3month old baby. It wasn't great. The phone, and coffee maker didn't work. Wifi didn't work. What else more....Oh and also there was a lot of police cars when I check in. Come to find out on the news someone got caught at the very same motel making meth. Thats why there was a lot of police there. Never go back there again.

Didnt have my smoking room like i had preferred, the phone didnt work ,there was no wifi, and the t.v. kept going in and out. The pool was dirty.

It was not the cleanest place. It was in disrepair, such as broken lampshades, delaminating doors, took forever to get hot water and then didn't last, breakfast was pitiful. Finally, I was supposed to get such a good deal at $69.00/ night. The sign outside said $39.95 and $44.95. We overpaid! Never saw the indoor pool. When I booked it said no cancellation charges. As soon as I booked I was charged for the first night. I felt the website certainly misrepresented this motel. I would never recommend this hotel.

The rooms smelled, mildew in the bathrooms, towels were not cleaned. Put in a non-smoking room and neighbors beside that were in a non-smoking room were smoking and the staff told us that there was nothing that could do about it. Pictures online are misleading. We were moved to four different rooms and then put in a one bed bedroom which we are a family of four.

Was convenient to Gatlinburg. Nothing else, older building should be gutted and remodeled or torn down.

It smelled awful, old, musky. Constant water running in bathtub. People would smoke right outside our door so it smelt like cigarette smoke even though were in a nonsmoking room. Towels looked dingey and dirty. Should have requested another room so we would dread going back to our room each night.

Location

It was an older facility and the section we stayed in was run down. The breakfast offer is misleading and only consisted of cereal or little Debbie cakes. The shower rod was not secured to the wall and fell mid- shower. The heater in the bathroom did not work.

The staff were very nice.

We stayed in the oldest part. They need to replace the carpet and clean the bath floors. Doors were beat up. The picture was a little deceiving on line.

That the booking site did not fax my info to the hotel and it took me 2 hrs to get it straightened out

Nothing, it is nasty and im still having a problem with an extra night that was charged on my card, also I didnt get the room I booked, asked for balcony and got a side street with nasty bums outside of room, found needles to shoot up by creek,,,,,,,,,,,yuck I was afraid for my family.
