We stayed there for the weekend and enjoyed mostly the location of the hotel. Our room had great views and the bed was cozy. The shower didn't have a door so it got a little messy, but we didn't mind it. I guess that added to the modern look of the room. Will stay there again in the future!!
Location was great. Staff was very welcoming and went the extra mile
Did not like the fact that there was noise from 8am until 5pm. Really not pleased to be woken up while you are on vacation...
My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary, this place gave us that sensual feeling I was looking for. Though the hotel was going through renovations and we had to check in on the 8th floor, that didn't matter to me. The showers were to die for, valet parking was too expensive but overall amazing experience.
Nothing worth complaining about
Subway just next to the hotel. Cleaning and new decorated room.
Matteress didn't have a cover on it Bed was supposed to be a queen, but in no way was a queen Bed was on slab of wood, very uncomfortable Fire alarm went off at 2am, decided to evacuate with other guests. There was ZERO communication from the hotel staff on what was happening or when it was safe to return to our rooms. Firemen eventually left, and we went back to our rooms, NO HOTEL STAFF in site. AWFUL We left after 1 night and paid double to get in a better hotel for the remainder of our trip
Good location Clean room
Horrible service Staff is not properly trained
Very comfortable and location
Fire alarm at 1.30 and no comma from staff, comedy reception set up
Very good place to live
The decor of the room and the amenities are great. The customer service is also very good.
The hotel has very thin walls. you can hear a lot going on in other rooms. Also, there was a lot of noise in the way of some type of work being done on the building in the morning.
Bathroom shower it's nice but open glass creates a mess on the floor when showering
all on thompson style
My group liked the decor and modern style of the hotel.
We could hear our neighbors talking in the morning. The door is really heavy but walls are still a little too thin.
I love the location of this hotel-tribeca is perfect. I also love that this hotel is quiet and low key- it is not a sceney place. The beds are super comfortable and the staff, to New York, is extremely friendly and helpful. I've stayed in several hotels in tribeca and soho- this has been my favorite and I am a returning customer!
The restaurant staff is a bit laxidazical and slow. The food isn't the best. Also, I had to have maintenance up several times for a problem with the bath drain and it still wasn't fixed when I departed!
Everything, and especially the staff. To a person, exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional.
amount of space, light filled room with large windows (corner)
The general feel of the hotel as you stepped in was of modern comfort.
Empty juice bottle under the bed from a previous guest.
Good location. Lots of cool cars and restaurants within walking distance.
It's terrible that in 2014 hotels still charge for wifi. Not much on offer bar and restaurant-wise. That said, there are loads in the neighborhood.
We liked the location, our own private balcony the decor of the hotel and the modern fittings in the room.
The size of the room (very small). There was no space to put your suitcase other than the bed. Also, there was no desk, one bedside table only and no chairs in the room. We had continental breakfast which was very poor, i.e. a couple of croissant and a few bread rolls, orange juice and we had to ask for some yogurt, as if they were saving it. It was very expensive for what they offered.
The staff were really nice and helpful. Always friendly and smiling!
At this price point complimentary WiFi in the rooms should be standard I think but sadly it wasn't.
We liked the comfort of the quiet room. The staff was excellent in all ways. The hotel offered all we were looking for.
We had to leave.
We loved the balcony in the snow on room 907. The food, drinks, staff -all excellent!
Got a great deal during off season for a balcony room. Hotel was comfortable, quiet, and by subway station. Staff were very pleasant.
The staff promptly attend all requests I'd made. Rooms that doesn't have a stress view are quieter. Much better.
There were not many food choices in the room service. The shower had a low water pressure, hard to wash hair.
an excellent hotel, really large room with a nice bathroom. strongly recommend.
