Size / Location / Comfort

If you have the technology to record the removal of an object from the mini bar you should be able to record when it is returned. Leave some space in the mini bar for your customers to put in their own beverages. Also the cost of the items in the mini bar is annoying. The same is true with the technology of the movies- I had to make it clear I did not watch a movie simply because a pushed the orange button by mistake. The technology is like a trap. The Spa room is really bad-- a steam room of a sauna or something would be nice.

I cannot speak highly enough of this excellent hotel. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by a most professional and pleasant receptionist, to when we left, everything was of a very high standard and comfort. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, superb bedding, very well equipped, lovely, large bathroom recently renovated. Restaurant served excellent breakfast and dinner was delicious with very friendly, well informed staff. Delightful, lively bar, superb location in downtown Washington, very close to the White House and within easy reach of several metro stations. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return.

No tea/coffee facility in room. Luke-warm water for bath tub. Excessive prizes for mini bar. One of my toilet articles disappeared...

Great staff, location and rooms. It was so convenient to the White House and the mall. There are two Metros stops within a 5 minute walk.

The Hotel’s staff was exemplary – gracious, accommodating and knowledgeable. The beds, pillows and linens were unbelievably comfortable.

Room service was disappointing. The first night a chicken thigh and drumstick were served instead of the roasted chicken we ordered. On the second night we ordered the ribeye steak and received a skinny, rather tough breakfast-type steak.

The doormen, front desk and concierge staff were great.

On the last day, my room smelled like cigarettes and things were moved-- tv, etc. I did discuss with the front desk. It was very strange and the smell did not go away.
