They upgraded my room as a returning customer. Helped me with extra favors Always so friendly Allowed me an early check-in and a late checkout Mory(as always), Mahommed, Jack and Emily were the highlights for this trip in terms of wonderful service. Thank you!
I didn't like leaving. But I never do
All aspects of service from reception to hotel waitress, bellman, car park were exquisite. Peter - Stony Point, NY
Comfy beds, big room (I was in a 'superior') and friendly front desk. Good location. Free WiFi that worked Friendly car valets too.
No personality, just an anonymous chain hotel feeling. Supposedly French but no real evidence of that (Xerox copies of Le Monde, reception says 'bonjour' -- that's it).
Close proximity to theaters, restruants, shopping. This is the only place we stay when we stay over in the city
great location-spacious room
would prefer a comfortable easy chair in the room rather than the modern one.
The staff were so polite and helpful, had a bit of a French flair, spoke French just enough to notice. The bed was the most comfortable we have found anywhere! Location is excellent in the heart of PHilly
the staff remembered us literally from our trip 2 months prior. they upgraded us to a larger room on the vip floor since they had the availability. great staff, helpful and friendly.
some of the guests choose to smoke in their rooms and the smoke filters through the vents. so for the first night the room smelled like a smokers room. fortunately it only lasted a day.
Excellent location Confortable Rooms Clean/good decoration Lobby bar excellent
The sound of the room's door Lots of sound in the night when other guest shut their doors. The air conditioner was not functioning excellent These was our only concerned
the staff and the breakfast
the room was too warm. our only option for a cover on the bed was a duvet in summer. not comfortable. the mitt wash clothes are a thing of the past. noise in other room kept us up half the night!
The staff was awesome! Rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The pillows were a bit soft for my taste. The bar/restaurant was great for drinks, watching the World Cup, and the hamburgers and fries were yummy!
The pillows were too soft!
huge plush bed, nice sitting area with full couch, convenient coffee maker in room, cool lobby, roomy bathroom
guests next door to us turned on loud music at 1:30 am on a thursday night... BUT the staff immediately responded and had them turn it off.
From the time we pulled up the customer service was phenomenal!
Everything! Location, staff, room, bar.
$42 to park
Everyone was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and experienced. It was a very pleasant experience and one that made you feel very welcomed.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Paying extra for parking
Good location, nice size room. Staff were friendly when approached. Restaurant food was very tasty and the restaurant service was excellent although the breakfast buffet items could have been a lot hotter.
The front desk check in also assigned our roo mtoanother person who tried to access our room at7:30am! When they couldn't get in another person came and tried all the while yellng at us that we were in their room. This should never happen!!! Of course the hotel was apologetic and provided us a complimentary breakfast but the damage was done. We won't return to this hotel. Lastly, our room was not cleaned ono e of the days of our stay.. We had to phone house keeping to get clean towels. Another day house keeping came very late in the day and it was made very obvious that the cleaner wanted to do bare minimal, asking us if it was necessary to vacuum or make the bed.
Everything about the hotel.. Location, room, staff, & bar
Great location, staff was courteous and responsive.
No iron in room, room was never cleaned by house keeping while we were there. Thought bar was outrageously over priced.
Bed was the most comfortable bed I've had in a Hotel. Gym was great, they had Granny Smith apples in the gym. It's the little things that make this place nice. We will stay here again.
The price for parking was a bit outrageous.
This is a very good option if you are in Philadelphia on business. To visit the Independence Hall it is about 13 blocks south so is a fair walk (or you take a taxi or the Metro). The service was excellent from the valet who parked my car on arrival to the bar tender in the evening to the lady who served breakfast the next morning. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and there was no disturbance at all from neighbouring rooms, so I assume the walls are fairly thick. All good.
The part of Philadelphia around the Independence Hall is a lot smarter than the part around 17th Street. But most of the hotels are near 17th Street because of business of course.
Beatiful hotel!!! Very friendly staff, great rooms. Recommend for selective guests.
Very good hotel.
