Excellent location, good service. A little bit noisy, very thin windows and traffic from the street disturbed occasionally. Heating maschine was also very noisy. |

room was small but perfectly formed many things. 1) the tipping culture meant that the hotel staff more intent on getting people from the hotel into the taxi thus securing a tip. Ignored the arrival of new people even though we had essentially delivered the taxi to the doorstep. 2) they take an imprint of the card when you arrive and authorise it later, this meant that we were recalled to the front desk as thier policy had triggered security measures and their preauthorisarion was rejected, their policy works against credit card policy especially when we are visiting US from UK 3) the electronic keys to the room failed after two nights (we were staying for 4 nights). The front desk response was to assume that we had extended our stay, rather than some failing on their part. |

The Hotel is a great location as it is in the heart of the luxurious and trendy area of shopping centre of Soho. The staff was very helpful and understanding. The room we first had was not at all as represented in the pictures of the Soho Grand website. In the bathroom there was no clear separation between the shower space and the rest of the bathroom (the shower was only a small area seprated by a curtain from the rest of the bathroom (no proper bathtab nor showertab). Then they changed us to an other small room, not dirty but not clean either, out of the 7 days that we stayed there was only 2 days that the bath towels were clean (the other days there were marks of make up, red wine were. Except from shower cap, shampoo, lotion and shower gel and a hairdryer, there is nothing else given in the bathroom. The beautiful terrasse of the hotel is barely visible and only open at night for a lounge bar |

The location and staff were great The noise from the Yard bar was extremly difficult. They had a DJ that played until 10:30pm then the noise from the bar and the house music contninued until at least midnight. I was in town on business and had an early morning - 5am. Fortunately, I was able to move to the other side of the hotel the next night. If not, I would not return to the Soho Grand. I was also traveling with my wife and infant daughter and the music and noise kept all of us up. |

The staff was very attentive and friendly, the rooms quiet, you couldn't hear the street. The courtyard lounge area was too small. We wanted to sit outside and have a cocktail and it was full mid day |

The location is terrific. Adjacent to cosy restaurants, galleries and shopping. I like the design of the lobby and bar. Consierge is very friendly and helpful. Bad smell in room and overall, carpets have to be renewed. |

Location is good but no connection with the hotel at all.Maybe because we don't interact with the front desk due to other exit or we don't have breakfast inside the hotel.for 4 nights everytime we try to enter the lounge area the guys ask us the same question as if they don't know who we are :) I found this one funny. |

We loved the design of the hotel - the exposed brick, the lofty feel, etc.. The location could not be beat. Would definitely recommend to others as well as stay time and time again |

We did love the location and the room being small was still very comforting and clean. The lobby bar was an enjoyment and the food was unique and delicious. The reason we chose fair for hotel staff was because the two concierge employees were not only "not" helpful; they were rude when we asked them questions about the Tribeca Film Festival and told us to find out for ourselves. Other than them the other employees were exceptional; the check in, baggage and wait staff were very welcoming. |

The hotel was very cool, and right next to some v.nice shops and bars/resturants. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, but they do get paid mainly on tips so they need to be..! Great location if you want to be away from the tourist area but still close enough to see and do everything. The room we stayed in was nice but was in need of a refurb. We also had to wait ages to check in as our room wasnt ready when they told us it would be. Also, the barman served me the worst mojito I'd ever tasted... and tried to charge me $15 for it! lol. Overall it was a good experience, I wouldnt pay full price for this hotel though, make sure you get it at a discounted price. |
