Sohotel

Sohotel má výbornú polohu, príjemný a ústretový personál. Je skôr pre mladšiu klientelu, ktorá ide spoznávať New York vo dne prípadne aj v noci. Vďaka svojej polohe sa dá obsiahnuť široké okolie Manhatanu - Little Italy, Chinatown, Financial Discrit, Tribeca, Soho, NoLita, Grenenwich Village, Lower East Side... peši a pokiaľ šlovek nemá smolu je tu bezpečne.

Asi by bolo smiešne keby sa človek, ktorý sa ide na pár dní oboznámiť s týmto veľkomestom, sťažoval na hluk, ale predsa mi nedá nenapísať poznámku. Treba sa pripravit na hotelové zvláštne energicky fučiace kúrenie a blízkosť požiarnej stanice. Niekedy by ste neverili ako často v NY horí. Apropo hasiči, polícia a sanitky svojimi sirénami podfarbujú život tohoto mesta.

my room was noisy from a bar below. i was then moved to a room with no sheets on the bed. exhauted i just fell aseep.

Excellent location in a very nice neighborhood with a lot of shops and bars.

The power of the water in the shower was very low and you need to take your earplugs with you, but that is NYC

The location was great. Beds very comfortable. Good to have coffee available in the mornings.

Outside our room the street was a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning.

It was a boutique style hotel within 5 blocks of the main soho area shopping. The staff treated us very well. I had to leave one night early and the refunded the complete amount without hassle.

noisy guests during the night, in the corridors and they continued for a while to shout through the corridors without bieng asked to keep the niose down...... hotel staff should have delt with them.

We enjoyed the lobby decor and the room's design. The brick walls gave in a NYC vibe.

The bathroom was small and outdated.

I wish rooms were a bit more sound proof; no elevator

I had a room to the street with a window that could open. The room was small but the bed was comfortable, many pillows, ok shower facilities. no elevator, but staff carried bags up (and then down too).

The wireless network didn't work on the upper floor (floor 2), and only with poor connection in the lobby. I felt the staff didn't want people to use the lobby and started to wet and sweep the floor exactly when I sat there to do some work. The lobby is just show-off, but should be inviting instead as rooms are so small. I can recommend the hotel when rate is discounted, bute beware of rooms facing inward without windows.

hotel is perfectly located b/w chinatown, little italy, soho, etc. Staff is very friendly, hotel is very nice inside...
