The hotel was like a piece of art. Very nice, rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent, everyone was very nice to us.
They were running some renovations while we stayed there and the noise was not so pleasant, especially for us in vacation trying to relax. And I really missed an elevator because I had 4 big bags and it was really hard to get to the room, fortunately, they have a very good staff that helped us.
Good location to market area- shopping & eating
No elevator, no bathtub, no phone to call the reception, if you need something you have to go down stairs to get it, very inconvenient! Too expensive for all of these inconvenience!
No hot water, no elevator, jack hammering work in room above/below at 8 am..literally the beds were shaking, someone bouncing a ball at 7:30 am off the wall and floors, aloofness of staff when notified because they really could care less
Location, Staff, safety place for visiting N.Y. in family
The room could be a bit longer
Great pillows and comfortable bed.Staff pleasant and helpful Room was kept very clean
Tiny room! Noisy ac unit. Decor ugly.No elevator
Decor - gothic, exposed brick in room Staff extremely friendly and helpful Good location Private taxi service Patio for smoking - off street
The shower is awesome. Looked forward to it at the end of every day. Loved the decor and the location Would stay again for sure!
The construction in our hallway. Was loud, dusty and dirty and started early in the morning
great location! And very good beds
the room had the size of a closet and has no windows or air vent. It was a claustrophobic experience. the pictures on the site give quite a different impression.
Singh, the doorman/bellhop.
Ridiculously small room. No room to sit or even to get dressed. Dark. Unpleasant odor. Bad mattress. Noise from ongoing construction right outside the door. No elevators. Lack of electrical outlets. Shall I go on?
Clean, comfortable, helpful staff, and a fantastic location. This is an excellent hotel for people who want to spend time out and about in the city. If you want to hang out in your room, this may not be for you since the rooms are on the small size. Can't beat the price.
Location was great for exploring SoHo
Overall quality of the facilities and staff was not really up to scratch.
on all the pictures on the internet the room looks much better than it really is, specially the size of the room.
Comfortable bed, clean and decent Wi-fi. Staff were reasonably helpful. Handy for Metro at Bowry.
Room had no wardrobe and just a pipe to hang clothes on. No breakfast facility on site.
Quiet room. Comfortable beds Nice shower Cleanliness Cleaners did additional towel checks in the evening. The room and hotel was always spotless. Coffee in the morning at reception. Would of loved a couple of pastries to go with it though:-) Close to a couple of subways
We were initially in a noisy room off the main st. Lots of noise and very difficult to sleep. The staff were very helpful in moving us to a quieter room the next day.
Conveniently located in Chinatown. Good for quick turnaround business.
The room across mine had construction early in the morning (not like a hammer and nails, I'm talking metal grinders/sanders/saws-all). Major bummer.
Clean, very good location near little italy
The room for two people was very small, i'd say it was 2.5 m by 2.5 m. Apart from the bed there was a very narrow way to pass from one side to the other, most of the time i had to jump over the bed!!! There is not really a desk and there wasn't a really suitable drawer so all out stuff was spread!!! I think this wasn't a good use of money....i wouldn't recommend it.
The location and the cleanness. We also enjoyed the restaraunts close to the hotel.
The noise during the night because of the closeness of a bar and other clients walking upstairs.
Some rooms are very good others not too good for the price I payed I should have the good rooms!
The not such good rooms were either too small or very noisy
Small bathrooms and bedrooms
Nice hotel in a convenient location.
The customer checking in next to me paid $25 a night less than I did...I think a hotel should guard against that kind of thing happening.
Wi-fi Staff Location Decor
Noise reduction was poor No breakfast Size of bedroom
We liked the location. The room had no windows.
The bed was lumpy and gave me an hives. Didn't seem the sheets had been washed after someone with a dog stayed in the room (gross).
Excellent décor, good location and attentive staff.
Staff was very nice and helpful when looking for recommendations around the neighborhood.
The room and bathroom was uncomfortably small. Two people with luggage barely fits in the space; no desk space whatsoever. The bathroom can only accommodate one person at a time and the shower is tiny. After waking up we couldn't wait to get out of the room.
Not worth the money. No central air. No elevators. Room was stuffy and small. Not worth the price.
