Hotel location is amazing
Horror staff.people at the front desk believe that they own the hotel or something. Really poor customer service.
Room is too small
The hotel was clean; staff were polite and helpful. The room was spacious. The kitchen had potential. The hotel's location is good for beach access, going to restaurants and walking to Haulover Park...
The first room that we checked into needed plumbing work as the toilet was over flowing. As well, the kitchen area had no seating or a table. The second room we checked into had a better layout and bar stools in the kitchen. The kitchen lacked cooking pots and you needed to rent a set from the office. It would have been nice to have had a few included in the price. We did not like that the hotel placed an excessive amount of overpriced 'minibar' goods on the counter and in the refrigerator. We normally get a room with a kitchen and stock it with goods from the grocery store, and it made it easy to mix things up. The bed was fair in comfort. I had a mild back ache throughout my visit which went away once I got home; so, I think the bed wasn't a good fit for me.
The location was great, right on the beach. Felt like we had our own private beach. Facilities good. Had a very relaxing stay. Overall good experience!
Room only had a partial oceanview, "New york breakfast" included in resort fee is only tea, coffee and a muffin. The rest of the breakfast is rather expensive.
Location is perfect. The service at the beach fantastic. Super comfortable lounges. The bed and pillows amazing
ratio quality/price direct access to the Beach
A/C and lights very noisy (any room!!) A/C control quality of the service (house keeping) Spa
extra charges not included in the original offer
there is no soap dish. Hot water (in the shower) can take a few minutes.
Location is great. I have been coming to Sunny Isles since the 70's.
Rooms. Hallways. Very claustrophobic. Bathroom is too modern at the cost of comfort. No ice buckets. One trash can. No coolers allowed. Remote in room didn't work and the water temperature in the room was reversed so if you forgot you ended up brushing your teeth with scolding hot water. Shower stall didn't have a door so it was cold.
Thay extra charge a daily fee
Nice room Near by the beautiful beach
Location is great with lots of restaurant and shops around and being right on the beach.
Dirty bedsheets, pillow cases, smelly rooms, you pay resort fee but they close the beach all day when it rains in the morning. Hello, it's sfl, it rains in the morning but sun comes out all day in the afternoon. Breakfast menu so poor. Pool menu items don't have a taste. Front desk people try to upsell so they say they are sold out in some categories and only available if you pay extra. Only good thing about this hotel is the location. Not worth the money you pay. Better options around them...
Absolutely loved the view from the room. The beach was awesome. The interior of the hotel was modern and beautiful.
The amenities were nonexistent. There are no refrigerators in the rooms therefore, there in nowhere to put cold beverages. There was also no ice on the floors. If you want ice you have to call and wait for room service to bring it to your room which was rarely prompt. We woke up very thirsty one morning around 10 am and just wanted a cold drink of water. We ordered a bucket of ice but got tired of waiting so we went down to the gift shop to purchase some drinks. It was closed. We asked the front desk where we can purchase drinks and she directed us to the outdoor bar and stated it was the only place open in the hotel. We went to the bar and it was also closed. At this point we are contemplating sticking our faces in the ocean to have a salty drink. We took our very parched mouths back in side and told the front desk the bar was closed. She then got the manager to go get the keys and open the gift shop. Finally 40 inconvenient minutes later we were able to purchase 2 bottles of water for an unreasonable $8. Now lets talk about the parking scam... There is no parking lot in this hotel. Only. valet. We asked the front desk at check in if valet was included. She stated it was completely to hotel guests. When we checked out the same front desk attendant handed us a bill for $60. When i threatened not to pay i was told it will automatically be charged to the credit card on file. Turns out it is $20 per day to park and it is is only parking option. You are also encouraged to tip every time you leave and return. Expect to tip every time you leave, return or want a cold drink of water.
The staff is not polite and just make excuses to avoid solving problems. The room details and information provided when I made my reservation was misleading. Ocean view at this hotel does not mean that you actually have a view of the sea
Great location. Excellent suite. Ask for an oceanfront one. Nicely furnished and the facilities are awesome.
The housekeeping staff was very skimpy replacing the towels and sometimes you could find sand in the carpets on the hallway and was not cleaned for at least 24 hours.
I like the beach access and the bed was really comfortable.
Friendliness of ALL employees...
All the add ons....tax, valet parking, 1 uncomfortable chair in King room...curdled cream in one creamer...
Pay extra charges for a fridge ridiculous...
Excelent location and staff
Housekeeping comes late and sometimes without enough time to clean everything as it should be.
Location the beach Room was average Front desk staff wonderful on check in. The pool
Unorganized staff at breakfast did not greet us or at least fifteen mins. Expensive overpriced food in restaurant in evening. Was okay Small room dirty carpets during our stay of two days not enough staff Would not recommend
I enjoyed the professionalism of staff like Mr. Mickey who was my waiter. The view and location!
Staff ineffective. 3 requests to fix lights and TV never done. Price too high for age, quality, and overall ambience of facility.
The location the beach and pool area and the staff very nice and helpful.
The valet scratch up the front of my car and didnt tell me about it.
Great location, great staff and a great value for the money.
Shower had peoples hair in it and the coffee pot we reported as broken, and noone ever fixed it.
