Great location Nice room/bathroom etc Friendly and helpful staff Regular housekeeping
Nothing to note...
LOT OF NOISE FOR SUBWAY TRAIN PASSAGES EVEN FROM TWELFTH FLOOR
The location of the hotel is perfect to explore such areas as Brooklyn, Soho, The Village and down town. Meter was 2 blocks away which is excellent for all major New York attractions
Rooms were rather small but fine cause you shouldn't spend much time in rooms while you are visiting New York City :)
Clean, modern, friendly staff.
Location, close to shopping restaurants, sights. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Simple yet elegant. Good view from window
Loved the location mainly, soho is a great spot and it's right beside Chinatown and Little Italy, and the yellow and green subway lines! Great shower too, it was so lovely after hot and sticky days touristing around. Comfy beds and ok-sized rooms.
Had to pay to leave luggage after check-out, never come across that before. No fridge facilities in room and all beds were queen-sized, not double, so a little bit of a squeeze for four people!
Great location for Soho, Tribeca, Chinatown. A good value, with very helpful staff.
Clean, modern room. Location is fair. Compared to other hotel prices with the same facilities, it was a good value for money. Staff is helpful as well.
The room is a bit small. It didn't bother us as we stayed only one night. The location is good in Soho but can be questionable late at night. Also be aware that the hotel charges 2$ for each luggage storage.
staff, location, view
not double glazed plus noisy construction outside, a/c unit also noisy
The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower was Devine.
The air conditioner is right beside the bed and not central air which was not enjoyable.
Near Little Italy, neighborhood to subway station
During our stay roadworks in front oft Hotel. Very noisy. Rooms are too small, you can't move around if you have Mord than 1 suitcase.
Very nice atmosphere
Too small room.
it was modern, it was quiet - 2 showerheads!!
Small but nice room, Modern bathrooms, Pleasant staff
Noise from nightclub just next to Solita. The view from my room (623) was not very pleasant. Construction out front is annoying but that is nothing the Hotel can control.
Loved the location. Steps away from Little Italy,Chinatown and SoHo. The room was small but it was fine for an overnight stay. Not sure if I would do more than two nights with a family of four.
One of the lights was broken in our room.
comfortable clean room, staff were helpful, we were handy to everything so made getting around and finding somewhere close to eat very good.
The air conditioner caused us some problems as seemed to have mind of its own. And the room was very small.
Very friendly staff, great beds, good location for getting out and about. French restaurant next door was excellent.
Quite noisy road works at the time, but manager was a great help. So all in all a good experience.
-Price was decent -Location was ok, but that is hard to judge because there was a lot of construction going on when we were there. -It was close to Chinatown and Little Italy -Walk to the Statue of Liberty took about 45 minutes. Able to avoid the metro.
-Parking is not onsite and was very expensive (more than I paid at the Double Tree in Midtown) -Rooms were very tight. -Front desk staff wasn't very friendly. They weren't rude at all, but a smile would have been nice. Especially since I left my metro card with money on it for the clerk to use. I can't take it with me.
THE location was great and rooms very clean. WIFI was impaccable. Staff was friendly. We read that elevator was a bit slow but that was actually quite allright! Try Landmark restaurant if you want a real american breakfast. It's right across solita hotel.
THE room was really small but we knew that already. But you're in New york, ypu shouldn't Be in your room. THE sign of solito hotel could use make-over :)
Location was very nice ..There was one Staff member not sure of her name. She tried everything to make me comfortable. That was very nice.
Hotel very small ..no view and you can hear other guest conversation or TV
Solita Hotel is located in a great location between Soho, Little Italy, Chinatown and Noho. Several subway stations are nearby, the best coffee shop is opposite (run by Aussie's for those who love a flat white). Room 1022 was a double, away from lift, clean, great shower, comfortable bed. Friendly front desk staff. A real ind and great value for NYC!
Air con is noisy but you get used to it. Only one lift so you may need to wait a while but take the stairs to go down. Much quicker.
Nice facilities, newly renovated? Outstanding accommodations for the price.
There was constuction going on right outside our 2nd floor window, so it would have been nice for the staff to provide earplugs at check-in.
My sister and I had booked a room with 2 double beds but were given a small room with 1 double bed and a fold out which just fitted into the room - very disappointing!
