it was too expensive for weekend value for money is ok for mid-week.
Location is great. Close to Soho. Bedding was comfortable.
For the money we paid; we expected bigger room; more facilities; cleaner room etc. For example; shampoo at the shower was in 1lt container. For a 3 star hotel; value we get should have much better. Another words; if this hotel was 120 bucks; I would have said great value.
good location, between soho and little italy. Near the subway, you can go quickly everywhere in Manhattan. Wifi it's ok.
No breakfast available, very small room, very small beds, not good cleaning service. You have to pay when you check in. And most of all, it's impossible to sleep because of subway vibrations, traffic and works in the road all the night.
Location, clean, comfortable beds, nicely styled bathroom, rates. We will return.
Rooms are small so probably not appropriate if you plan to spend a lot of time in room.
The Bed Matress.
-The rooms so small can hardly move. -Constant car Street Noise -No shaded curtains. -Elevator noise (weak maintence) -Booked 5 nights, checked our next day for not being comfortable yet they charged me for extra day. -Staff were not flexible -Very expensive does not worth it.
Location is very convenient to my work
Construction that rattled the room started before 7am. I don't know how solita "sleeps at night" charging what they charge for the tiniest/loudest room in nyc.
Everything was Perfect
Great location Nice room/bathroom etc Friendly and helpful staff Regular housekeeping
Nothing to note...
LOT OF NOISE FOR SUBWAY TRAIN PASSAGES EVEN FROM TWELFTH FLOOR
The location of the hotel is perfect to explore such areas as Brooklyn, Soho, The Village and down town. Meter was 2 blocks away which is excellent for all major New York attractions
Rooms were rather small but fine cause you shouldn't spend much time in rooms while you are visiting New York City :)
The location of the hotel is very convenient and close to subway. Bedroom is fine and comfortable.
Additional fee is needed for fringe and the air-conditioning is not very good
The Solita was within a comfortable walking distance from my meetings on Varick St.; also near Avenue of the Americas. Little Italy was right around the corner with lots of restaurant choices in the general vicinity.
Great location, walking distance to Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown; close to various subway stations. Very helpful staff.
It is close to Little Italy that is quite nice.
When we booked the room we asked a room for 4 persons. The room we obtained was barely enough for 2 persons. The room, specially under the beds, was dirty.
Clean, modern, friendly staff.
I loved the location and the price
I didnt like the size of the rooms and the climate control system was loud and blowing directly on me intermittently all night. Oh, and the random hairs on the pillowcases and in the bathroom were gross.
Location, close to shopping restaurants, sights. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Simple yet elegant. Good view from window
Loved the location mainly, soho is a great spot and it's right beside Chinatown and Little Italy, and the yellow and green subway lines! Great shower too, it was so lovely after hot and sticky days touristing around. Comfy beds and ok-sized rooms.
Had to pay to leave luggage after check-out, never come across that before. No fridge facilities in room and all beds were queen-sized, not double, so a little bit of a squeeze for four people!
Great location for Soho, Tribeca, Chinatown. A good value, with very helpful staff.
Clean, modern room. Location is fair. Compared to other hotel prices with the same facilities, it was a good value for money. Staff is helpful as well.
The room is a bit small. It didn't bother us as we stayed only one night. The location is good in Soho but can be questionable late at night. Also be aware that the hotel charges 2$ for each luggage storage.
staff, location, view
not double glazed plus noisy construction outside, a/c unit also noisy
The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower was Devine.
The air conditioner is right beside the bed and not central air which was not enjoyable.
Near Little Italy, neighborhood to subway station
During our stay roadworks in front oft Hotel. Very noisy. Rooms are too small, you can't move around if you have Mord than 1 suitcase.
Very nice atmosphere
