Cozy, decoration, bath, room confort, coffee maker, hair dryer, desk, patio.
wifi, one of the front desk ladies
Friendly staff and wifi
The location was not good. Traffic noise could be heard from the room. The room smelled like mildew. The bed was hard and lumpy. Absolutely no amenities. Decor ??? The picture shows a patio it was basically like sitting on the side of the street as the cars raced passed.
Decor, private verandah, staff, comfortable bed
Location was a little ways from town and yet not in the country - car required to get into town and to restaurants - but this was NOT a major issue.
Quiet clean ground floor accommodation with great character away from the town centre. Extremely comfortable bed. Very helpful desk staff. No restaurant facilities on site, but excellent eatery next door serving wide choice of breakfast/lunch. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay if you have a car. Would happily revisit.
Car a necessity to get about. No restaurant facility in evening, so had to go into town (a few miles away) to get a meal. No swimming pool.
Nice motel with character for a reasonable price in a beautiful but expensive town.
it used to be very pretty and colourfu --now it looked colorless and tired!! The restaurant is only just acceptable
Clean bathroom and the hotel room
The smell of the bathroom cleaner was very strong. The coffee maker did not work and the office closed early (there was no way to fix the coffee maker problem). The room had a patio overlooking a very noisy street - opening windows and doors to get rid of the cleaner smell introduced lots of street noise. Between the smell and the noise it was hard to get a good night sleep.
Convenient location. Clean and great cafe next door. Easy to find.
On a semi-busy road.
Patio, big bed, spacious bathroom, clean & cozy, high ceilings, fan
We especially liked the location and how quiet and clean everything was!
I wish I had more time to stay. It was business. But what a nice comfy place to stay. Loved the decor. Loved the environment. Loved the little balcony alcove area. Loved it.
What a great value! Even though our stay was short, it was lovely.
I liked the decor of our room. It had an art deco/americana feel about it with the posters and cute lampshades. All in all, a good little motel. Breakfast around the corner was convenient.
Rooms were comfortable-bed was fine. Bathroom very nice with good water pressure. Decor was good.
The neighborhood-not just older but really didn't feel safe walking around the area- but the worst was the constant street noise-very little sleep-couldn't enjoy the private patio. Pictures misrepresent the outside-very few pretty flowering plants-the one on our patio was basically dead. Also, it's nice to have actual cups and glasses.
The room was most welcoming. We liked the charm of the place, the patio was a nice break from the normal hotel. The decor was appropriate to the area. The staff was most helpful
There was a water leak into the closet and we reported the smell of mold. They discounted our bill because we had trouble sleeping.
The cleanliness & updated decor. I loved the high vaulted ceilings too.
The only thing I didn’t like was the little private patio. It wasn’t like the picture, they took a picture of the only one they had vines all around and was “cozy” Ours could’ve used some potted plants and flowers or something there. We like to sit outside with our glass of wine, and this patio was not inviting.
- The comfort of the bed - The location - large bathroom - patio
Great retro hotel. My room had a lovely little patio with a fountain and sitting area. The facility also had plenty of parking and the landscaping was lovely! The mini fridge was perfect to chill a bottle of wine in and the whole place was very clean. Will be back next time I'm in the area.
Comfortable and pleasingly retro. Residential neighborhood.
Adjacent cafe was closed on the morning of departure (apparently always closed on Mondays.)
Great décor and attention to detail in rooms. Quite "boutiquey". Friendly helpful staff. Nice café next door for breakfast.
The room was very nice, and the small private patio off the room was really lovely. The shower was good and strong. Wifi was excellent
The bed was a bit hard.
Friendly service. Quiet private area outside of room to sit.
No view of anything
Clean, comfortable bed, MANY modern extras in an updated, older building (ceiling fan, A/C, new sink, new tub, new faucets [yet, they retain "old" style appearance], high ceiling, refrig, new tiled entryway. Lower price than most in Sonoma.
Location in older, "questionable" area. Right on a fairly busy residential street - the "white-noise" from the A/C was fine for us, but some might find the location too noisy.
EVERYTHNG...Can't wait to go back. Next time we will stay 2 nights. It was a perfect getaway from SF and work...
